Quick update

Not much has been going on XD been work work working all the time basically, I'm basically a night-time creature all the time now.

There's a small chance I'll be able to go to BLFC this year. but I won't know till I know.

Been gaming with friends a lot which is awesome and I love you all who take time out for me <3

Also been trying to force myself to draw more, have been working on my own ref sheet since I don't have one, and it's coming along, even though I haven't touched it in a couple weeks >..>

So I finally decided on a second form for myself, a fluffy one.

Also I never really went into detail about my sona in the first place, which after this journal posting I am going to be updating my profile info to describe, but I'll post it here too.

My details, species, and colors:

As a snake, I am a hybrid of Atheris Chlorechis (Western Bush Viper), Python Reticulatus (Reticulated Python), and some dragon heritage (My gramma legit has her dragon character tattooed on her arm), the dragon heritage is where the ability to change form comes from.

My colors are blue (hex 00aeff) with a lighter shade on the under belly, and golden yellow eyrs

It's Vulpes Vulpes (Red Fox)!

The colors are basically the same as my snake form, blue (hex 00aeff) fur where the red fur normally is, a lighter blue fur where white fur normally is, black where black is, and golden yellow eyes.

OKAY so, update.

and I finally got our own apartment! It's pretty nice too.
Also I will be starting a new job soon too, that pays much better and I'll actually be learning a trade instead of mindlessly standing around putting stickers on things. As easy as that is, there are no advancement opportunities.

So apart from that there isn't really much else new. Excited for Rainfurrest next month, might actually have spending money this time around. :3

Yup. Second break ever.

So this morning I woke up and got ready for work as I usually do, only I was a couple minutes late heading out because I couldn't find my clock-in card. Wound up leaving without it and started running to the bus stop to get to work.

Well, as I was running down the sidewalk, my foot decided it didn't want to run, so it rolled 180 degrees inward and I nearly faceplanted into the concrete. Limped my way to the bus stop (surprisingly, I made it to the bus) because I figured maybe the pain in my foot would feel better by the time I got to work.

It didn't.

Talked to my supervisor at work about what happened and caught the bus back home and went to the hospital. Got an x-ray, found out I have what's called a "stress-fracture". I have to wear a boot and use crutches for about 4 weeks, sooner if it heals fast.

I really hope it does, because I had signed up for a motorcycle riders course to get my motorcycle endorsement and that's only 3 weeks away! T^T

If I can't go, hopefully I can get it rescheduled or something, because I really really want my endorsement. >..<

So uh, I've been around.

So about a month and a half after Rainfurrest, got together with who I've known since like... Forever? At least since 6th grade, AT LEAST. Anyway yeah it's awesome, she's awesome, I love her to death and beyond. <3

Got her moved in with me when we got together, time went on, things were good, we went to a Fursuit Bowling meet in march, it was awesome. Gonna go to the next one in June. More time went on, we have added 4 ball pythons (one of which is an albino), a red tail boa, 2 leopard geckos, and two rose-haired tarantula's to the family.

Wound up getting kicked out of my Gramma's place because the people that work at the housing authority where she lives are the biggest pieces of shit and shouldn't be in charge of anything. Moved all of our stuff into a storage unit, got our babies (the reptiles and spiders) moved over to our friend's place, and we're staying there currently.

SO THAT'S WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENIN'

Oh and yeah, I have a ton of pictures I want to upload from Rainfurrest last year and from the meet and from other things too, that will happen soon-ish, whenever I actually sit down to do it without forgetting. XP

Went to Rainfurrest last weekend, and it was AMAZING! I wish it didn't have to end, at least not so early. >..<
It was the most fun I've had in such a loooong time. Helped that I was there with  toxikooncreations  Crystacian  Fox-Zilla and our buddy Jake. Dems amazing peoples. X3

Looking at my super old drawings makes me cringe... I need to practice more.

So much has been going on. I'm not sure about a lot of things anymore. Things that were once said are no longer true, promises were broken.... Life is hard.

Wow. I haven't been on here in... 4 days short of a year. Dang.

So yeah. I'm not dead. I've just been super busy. Work full time now so I don't have nearly as much time to do the things I did a year ago. Other than that I haven't really been up to much. Playing xbox and stuff when I have the time.

Eagerly awaiting Halo 4. Only 20 days left until it's released. X3

So figured I'd post an update... Recently acquired a new Av head and re-textured it with the awesome textures my friend made me.

That means I'm gonna need a new helmet.

A new suit will be made.

'Bout time I got to doing this, been wanting to for a while.

So, move-out a fantastic success, got all my stuff moved, internet transferred, got my den set up (and boy is it cozy in there! X3), and got my lap-top! Lap-top isn't super good; Windows 7 premium, 2GB DDR3 RAM, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 Series graphics card, and a 320GB hard drive. But it will serve me well. ^..^

Everything at the new place is going great, even met a girl who's bringing the best of me out. <3 Only this is slightly bittersweet, as she's leaving out of country to college for a couple months. I say bittersweet because I'm sad she's leaving, but I'm happy that she's fulfilling her dreams.

Everything is going well... and who knows what the future will bring. I can only continue to hope for the best and be prepared for the worst.

Yuss, title says it all. I'm moving out of the old nest, finally. Moving in with a bunch of friends, gonna start moving stuff on Monday, my internet won't get switched over until Thursday though. I'll also be getting a Laptop on Thursday. Super excited, my room in the new place is a den on the second floor, it's quite literally a den it's so cozy. X3 Gonna make a poster that says "The Snake Den (Jet's Room)" Once everything gets moved.

On a sidenote, this is why I haven't been online recently, been so busy making sure everything goes well with the move. Can't wait till it's all finished.

Wow, it's been quite a while since I updated my journal... I think it's about that time. :]

Been working my tail off a lot lately, most of the money has been and will continue to be put away. September is going to be fantastic. X3 I might have said this before but I'm super excited for Reach, especially since I'll have the money to buy both the Legendary Edition of it, and the Limited Edition Halo Reach Xbox 360 Slim. It'll be the first time I actually pre-ordered something really nice and was able to buy it, with money that I worked for. Feels good just thinking about it.
Probably won't be getting a lap-top for myself until either November or December though.

Got a ton of birthdays coming up, 2 this month, 4 in October, then 4 in December, including mine. X3
What's going to be nice about it is I'm finally able to buy presents.

Haven't been very active in the creative department... Been playing a lot of The Elder Scrolls IV, Oblivion.
Still want to get better at drawing myself, well drawing in general, traditional or otherwise. As soon as I'm confident in my work there I'll try drawing some friends... If it's alright with them anyway. :3

Anyway, things are getting better, slowly but surely. Looking forward to seeing what the future brings, and hope all goes well with everyone. ^..^

Well, I'm officially working at Rite-Aid now for 9 USD an hour, will have racked up a really nice paycheck by the time I get paid. (I've got it estimated around 450-500 dollars) So that's got me kind of excited... Halo Reach won't be a problem now, and I'll be able to start buying Cosplay gear, also will be able to actually go out and do things, save up for my passport, and possibly get a car... All in time I guess.

Finally got my permanent ID yesterday in the mail, thinking about getting it re-done though, I don't like the picture. >..> At least I have it though.

Someone I deeply care for now knows how I feel about her, I don't know how long she's known, but she knows now... Only thing is I don't know how she feels. God I suck at dealing with feelings, especially my own. >..< All I can do is wait and hope for the best, so here's to hoping.

Sorry I haven't been around much lately, been doing a lot, hanging out with friends before they head out of state for the rest of summer, got one job gardening, and have some actual work lined up for me at Rite Aid Pharmacies. :D I just have to get my ID card made, doing that later today, and I'll be set... Also going to get a hold of my transcripts and see about getting a passport (Travel may happen sooner than I thought! X3).

Cleared up some trouble between friends... And consoled one upon the departure of a close family member of his... v..v

Even though I have scarce been on SL, it doesn't mean I haven't been busy on there as well, birthday presents are being made, and I've also been making slight modifications to my Xero Suit as well. :3

Overall, I'd say things are going fantastic! Can't wait to see what the future brings, though I get the feeling it won't feel as long of a wait as it seems, time is flying by FAST for some reason. o..o'
But I will definitely have fun in the month ahead, and will most definitely be around when I'm not working. ^..^

I finally got a job! Working with an awesome friend, for another awesome friends mom, gardening. :3 Found two garter snake molts, which makes me super excited cause I'll finally have a chance of finding some garters! But anyway it's great, will finally be able to get the things I've been wanting and do things I've been itching to do. ^..^
