Posted 6 days agoWas thinking maybe doing a couple of drawtober I've been doing as a limited commission type. I just want to do a few of 'em though. I'll still draw what I want for some days, especially the closer to the end of the month.
- Flat $30CAD price - Keep that in mind before giving me too much to draw. Check the 2 characters pics in the link below to see how much I had to focus on more characters vs settings or BG.
- No NSFW
- Wing-it style. Meaning, in this case, I fill in any missing detail you didn't give and I'll present you the completed drawing once it's done with little to no tweaks. Though it also means you can just link your character and ask for me to just draw anything with them.
- Note me with the request/idea. The minimum should be of what character you want me to draw, if you'd rather I pick how. No need to give me your paypal email until the invoice is gonna be sent to you.
- This is not first-come-first-serve, so take your time composing the note.
- I'm not planning on getting to everyone if I get many requests. Just be ok with the possibility of me not doing your thing.

Bluesky and Commissions
Posted a year agoFirst of, I decided to finally make a Bluesky account cause they added video support recently and this might be the only place I feel like I could scrappy sketchy video with audio that isn't just Discord. I don't super plan to use Bluesky fully as of writing this because I wasn't really looking for an alternative to Twitter, but who knows, maybe I'll post more on there later. For now, if I do, the account is planned to be lewd. Though not all audio video will be lewd.

Main thing to keep in mind is once you fill the form, don't assume I'll will definitely get to your commission! I'm doing it this way so I can know in advance what the thing will be and I can kind of pick and choose what I want to work on (If you minimally fill the form or use incomplete phrases and etc. I might just skip your thing. Make sure you know what you want). But also I might still want to do your thing 6+ months later after you fill the form! So just because I didn't contact you in a week, doesn't mean I skipped. I know that might be weird to feel in limbo, but I'm pretty unimportant, so you might not want to be constantly thinking about me anyway. Don't worry if I contact you way later though, I'll mostly ask if you are still up to do the commission and if you are not able to pay right away, we can try and coordinate about it.
Also don't fill the form more than once a month. Doing so is a good way for me to not want to do any of your commissions.
The Form link is going to be included in my commission page on FA also, so it should be more reachable than just this journal.

Posted a year agoSo I over-lurked servers in the past and fumbled them by leaving them and artists I follow don't really post invites anymore. I've been wanting to try and interact with new people again but I don't get as many opportunities anymore.
So, complete shot in the dark, I might as well ask if anyone following me would have the means to invite me in a server.
I keep flip flopping between making a long list of things I'm looking for in a server, and feeling like doing so would just reduce my chance of finding a new serverto forever lurk in to try and hang out in. I guess the only thing I can think of really needing is I'd rather it is an adult only server, even if it's a clean server. I just don't want to hang out with kids and teens, lol.
Otherwise, this hopefully short list is more like "bonus points". A server don't need everything listed here, but the more like this the better. I might also loosely put more important stuff near the top if I don't forget to order it.
- If there's a nsfw channel, I'd rather it would be vanilla near the ballpark of what I draw. Just sick of seeing stuff I don't like and prefer vanilla anthros anyway.
- If there's other artists to hang out with that be neat!
- Anthros/furries/scalies!
- I'm not looking for a huge server. I'm fine with one that isn't over 50 members.
- Friendly interaction to be on the nicer side. Like, more teasing, less being a jerk to friends cause they know it's not serious. And if the main thing people do is complain about stuff, I'm less into that too.
- This might be an odd one and is why I'm putting it at the bottom, but I'd like to be able to "post and run" (hopefully without the running). Sometimes that's the only time I get to talk to others if they comment something I can respond to, which is hard for me to begin with (you can see it with how many times I respond to comment on here with an emote that I suck at this lol.) I want to make an effort, but a rule that requires me to interact with people makes it hard to try and bother or maintain.
- Since I draw porn often I might as well mention this one even lower on the list: I'd rather not be in an overly horny server. When it comes to talking about stuff, I'm not averse to lewd, but I also don't care if a rando just jerked off, lol. I don't need to hear about it.
I forget if there's anything else. Again, this is a soft list of bonuses, not really requirements. But I might lurk harder the more stuff on this list isn't a server's jam.
Also, if someone do want to try and invite me, make a "pitch" in the comment but DON'T link to your server! I'll DM you afterwards if I want to try. And by "pitch" I just mean like, is there a theme? Is it a Dragon server? Gaming server? Artist server? But also mentioning like the vibe of the server, especially if there's not really a theme. Heck, I might not mind knowing if people's main form of play is being a jerk to one another as a warning, if everything else sounds alright, I could maybe mentally prepare myself to just know people aren't meaning it... If it's the case at least lol. but if you comment here and I don't DM you later, don't take it personally, I'm just antisocial and, heck, I might change my mind and not join any new servers. I dunno, we'll see.

Animation Program?!?!?

This might be a long shot in the dark, but is anyone aware of some good affordable 2D animation software? Like, at least one? Ideally one-time buy and not subscription based? And also preferably animation first, not drawing first with animating tools tacked on later (ie. not Krita)?
Right now, the 2 programs I use are Clip Studio Paint (tacked on) and Aseprite (mostly great).
CSP is pretty good at the drawing part, but man I never enjoy animating in that one. Too much frame assigning and not enough flexibility.
Aseprite is awesome! Everything about what is there is great and all the features it got are bonkers! It's also very cheap and one time buy! But it can only handle pixel art and can't import any audio, since it's mainly there to help make art assets for games with pixel graphics. A lot of the coolest features are designed to help with that process (them tiles). I would animate in Aseprite and polish in CSP, but CSP can't import animated gifs. So, again, importing and assigning every png to every frame is a pretty huge pain (That Lemurian lady sucking dick is where I tested that and yeah).
For years I've been hoping for some good option in 2D animating and have yet to hear about anything great (there's a, apparently, great 2D animating software that is cheap stuck on the Apple Appstore, I'm not getting into that ecosystem/it's too expensive). I just find it bonkers how you can technically make a full 3D game with audio and assets and music and all that for cheap and/or free, but somehow 2D animation has been a weird blind spot. I almost should just learn 3D and animate in 3D with Blender at this point. No idea if I'd find it fun though... Which does remind me I should check out what their 2D animating tools are like, but a friend says it's not great cause of the way the pen is handle. But man, I'm getting a little desperate.
I just spent this evening animating a thing in CSP and I just spent half that time just assigning frames and I just kind of gave up. I have the entire character shaking her butt to the music, but all one color and unpolished lines cause I just got really tired at the tediousness of it. And I dunno, as I said, I'm just getting desperate I guess. If I could have something that works like Aseprite, but that let's me draw at regular resolution. Also CSP's animation preview is so bad!!! I forgot about that one UGH. Yeah I dunno. What is even happening anymore. I don't even have a spot to post lewd furries with audio cause I squint at all the options I know of.
But yeah, all this rambling is mostly to ask if there's options I missed, I feel like I used to keep track of things, but social media mix up resulted in me not really knowing what people have been talking about in the last half a decade. So maybe something else popped up? Hopefully that runs on a computer instead of an iPhone? Maybe please? =(

Posted 2 years agoThis is mostly a heads up for anyone that might try to find my art on Twitter that it's not on there anymore. I deleted both accounts. Well... "Deactivated" since that's the wording they used and I'm slightly worried they are vaulting my art. Luckily, my art's not that great. So they get scrappy art lol.
FA is basically my main art spot now. Not the most thrilled, if I'm being honest, but it really does feel like there's no good place to post art anymore. Not really wanting to use Bluesky, Itaku or cohost for each their own reasons. I'm still posting on Weasyl and Tumblr, but both also have their drawbacks. And I'm not gonna learn to code and buy a domain to make my own site. Though I understand wanting to do that since all social media platforms are bad for artists. But last time I tried to look into it, html seems to be relatively straight forward, and then CSS lost me. And now there's like, html5 or something? I just don't have the mind for it. I dunno maybe I can look into it again. But I know my brain, it'll stop caring quick. It would be a way for me to re-package 2 Frames Quest though. But yeah, I dunno.

Patreon September Poll Suggestion
Posted 6 years agoOk, doing polls now! So I'll be taking suggestions from all places to potentially put in the poll for people to vote on. This should be a vote for anyone supporting my Patreon!
So I'll be taking suggestion of popular characters or species doing something that I'll be animating! Comment with your idea(s)!
Example might be something like: "A Kobold eating an ice cream" or "Guilmon anthro lady masturbating" or "Isabelle from animal crossing laying in bed with casual clothes and listening to music while reading".
I'll use hopefully 4 suggestions like these to animate! If I don't get enough suggestions, I'll fill the empty spots with whatever I want. Then the $1+ Patrons will be able to vote on it and I'll pick a style of animation that I think would work best for the idea (I still only have 24 frames for CSP though)! I'll be working on this animation after finishing the rewards!

-A Beach or Ocean themed Background!: For Ocean, I want to specify that I mostly mean underwater scenes, either near the shore of a beach, a reef, or in deeper oceans.
-A shark!: If you don't have a Shark character, I am willing to sharkify whatever character you are referencing. Though be sure to state that that's your intention when linking a character reference on the form!
If the commission contains either of these, your commission will be 15%OFF the total price!!! Not only that, if your commission contains BOTH of these themes, you can get 25%OFF!!!
Note that while I'll will allow people to fill the form that doesn't take advantage of this sale for this batch, but I will prioritize the ones that do since I can only do some of them and for a limited timed thing, it's better if I prioritize them.
Also, I might only fill one slot today. Contacting everyone can take time so I am planning on contacting others later this week. Slot 1 is the only thing I have to fill for tomorrow, so I currently plan on only filling the first one tonight.
On a more personal note, My birthday is next week (July 31st). So I will want to try and take that week off, especially after that one big animation I did. For this batch I might try to purposely pick small things to do since I want to try and do most of it this week. But if I take too much time, I am planning on taking my birthday off, even if I have some stuff left to do. So be warned!

Google Form can also let me be perpetually open, though I'm going on the assumption that my commission are not in demand enough to be overwhelming yet. So that part might change in the future, but yeah I dunno lol.
Thing to also note: I have updated my prices again, mostly removing the sfw prices so that everything is priced the same as the previous nsfw prices. People have made me do nsfw commission enough times that I felt like I was underpaying anytime I did clean commissions, instead of up-charging lewd ones. So I'll just remove that weird part of it.
I dunno what else, so yeah, lol.

People have made me do nsfw commission enough times that I felt like I was underpaying anytime I did clean commissions, instead of up-charging lewd ones. So I'll just remove that weird part of it.
I dunno what else, so yeah, lol.

So what I decided to do is I'm opening, but only 2 slots (one slot is already taken by a really old YCH someone decided to buy) and these 2 slots can only be bought from the Animated or Simple Style sheets.

Honestly, I'm a bit surprised I reached that milestone before a full 10 years. But hey, it is done! I'm not sure how many of you are still active on FA, but still:

I'll admit, I don't have a much concrete planned for this. There's one thing I really would like to do, but I can't really do a project like that on short notice (maybe on another milestone). I'm still kinda thinking on it... But at this point I might roll with a "better late than never", assuming I figure something out. It's also a bit tough to come up with something special and taking the time to work on that over doing commissions and such.
Whatever I end up doing, just know that I'm still thankful of the milestone and for all of you following and enjoying my art. Whether it's the arts, animations, or quests. I just like knowing that what I make can make some people happy, even if only for a short while. =)

Note that this does not include just adding snow as my Canadian mind is used to the entirety of Winter being snowy, not just December. Another point to remind is that the returning customer discount works differently now and don't happen each time. I keep track of them and after 3 times, the discount kicks in.
