It's real hard to narrow these down to ten, and even harder to put most of 'em in any kind of order...but here we go, anyway. Just so y'all know, numbers 4 through 10 really *aren't* in any kind of order... Also, I could easily fill this list with Pink Floyd songs, but I won't, so I have some variety here. =P

Some of you might say, "Jin, you already posted a Pink Floyd song! What gives?" Well, I call fair game, since "On The Turning Away" was after Waters left the group, and this is Waters' solo stuff... The lyrics in this one have literally haunted my sleep. They are the most beautiful lyrics I've ever heard, even if this isn't exactly Waters at his best, vocally speaking. I'm just glad I got to see him live, 'cuz I'm afraid I won't get another chance...
There were a lot of other songs that I really wanted to mention, but...this is good, at least for now. ^^

Posted 17 years agoSo... Santa brought my younger brother Syphilis! Not the real disease, just some plushie virites in a petri dish! They're really cute. They're pink, spiral-shaped, and have these cute li'l black eyes. You can wrap 'em around your finger or stand 'em up somewhere, or roll 'em around or whatever.
Santa brought me the flu! Not cute li'l plushies, either. The actual sickness. ~.~
So since late evening on Christmas day, I've been down sick... Yay...
I'm almost over it, but still not feeling terribly great...
Then, last night, my mate hit a pothole on her way home from work, and ended up with 2 flat tires. She was gonna have her car towed to the nearest tire place... The tow truck got there, and before she had agreed to have any work done, he swapped out her rear flat for her spare, and had her car hooked up to his tow truck. Then, in the dark, he hands her some paperwork, and tells her that all it is is a statement saying that she owns the car, and she agrees to let him tow it.
So they get to the tire place, and she finds out that it's also the bill, which he hadn't discussed with her at all...and he's charging $500 for a 15-minute tow.
Called the tire place today, and got them to look at her car... It's the rims. That's not gonna be cheap, either...
For the first time in 3 years, we're now in the red... My mate was in tears from before she got home last night at 1:30AM until well after 3AM... We're gonna contact the state's attorney today, and see what they say about it. The guy should've never done any work without going over the prices with her or having her sign the paperwork...
Fortunately, her father was with her, so we have a witness that he did work without permission... We'll see how things go...

This, to me, is really the epitome of what Christmas should be all about--people getting together, forgetting their differences, finding common ground, and just focusing on loving one another. Really, this is what Christianity should be all about, all the time rather than just on Christmas, but a lot of people--Christian and non alike--just don't get it. Ah, well... We reach who we can, and those who refuse to be reached, you just can't do anything for 'em.
Anywho, enough rambling. Hope y'all enjoy it. ^^
