So as most of you will probably know my health took a nose dive a few months ago and I was struggling along waiting for appointments and whatnot. Well I'm happy to say I've taken a turn for the better! My health is by no means good, but I've been given some new meds and I have some aids to help me with my day to day living and I'm already seeing improvements, with more to come as I get more treatment and stuff, so that's good!
Anyway, all that boring health talk was really just to say I'm going to upload some work over the next week, and I'm steadily chugging through my commission queue again, so hopefully I can start putting up YCH's and commission slots perhaps early/mid september, if not a few smaller slots earlier than that.

So, I've been a little absent content wise, sorry 'bout that! I haven't spoken much about it here, but I'm a disabled individual, and unfortunately I've had a few weeks where my joint and spinal conditions have flared up pretty badly, and I've been in considerable pain most days. I'm not out of it yet, but I have been feeling a little more productive this week and so I'm trying to catch up on work. I'm sorry for delays on commissions and trades, I hope you'll understand and bear with me!
I'd quite like to set up a commission stream through the week, as my tablet is also, sadly, on its last legs poor thing. I've had it for a good... pfff.. four years now I think? It's aaaancient, and it's starting to crash a worrying amount, so I think it's about time to retire it and get a new boy in. Probably something simple, an intuos most likely; I'm not very fussy with tablets, if it works and it's wacom I'm pretty happy haha.
I'm also looking forward to clearing out my queue a bit so that I can offer some trades again! I adore doing those.
And! Last but not least, I would love to do a raffle for my wonderful watchers here, to thank you all for your support! If you have any suggestions on what kind of thing you'd like to see for a raffle, please drop me a comment; I'd love to hear from you!

Thank you so much to everyone who's bought a YCH or commissioned me recently, I'm trying to slowly eke my way into a steady stream of income as well as promote myself here a little more, so every little helps! I'm looking to finish off the current batch of YCH's over the next two weeks if all goes well, and have a clear queue by March.
I think when I have cleared it, I'd like to perhaps open up to some trades, or even host a little giveaway/raffle to try and get myself out there a little more. And then of course, there's considering what type of commissions to open up in March. YCH's, or just some regular slots. Maybe something else?
I'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions if you have any! What would you like to see from me?Sergals??

Posted 9 years agoApologies for the lack of art recently. I'm battling through a bout of sickness that's made my pretty low energy levels at the best of times currently non existent. I have been picking away at owed work but nothing substantial to show for it.
Hopefully this lingering illness will move on and I can get back to work.
Aside that though, I can't say I'm doing too badly at all. In fact, I'd like to know what you'd like to see from me going forward?:

Posted 9 years agoSo, as I mentioned a couple journals ago, I lost a lot of my work at the end of November when my harddrive blew up. I've since recovered my stuff, gotten my PC back up and running, and have slowly been working on my current queue.
It's been hard getting back into the swing of art after being unable to draw for a couple weeks, so I appreciate all of my clients patience while I get myself back up to the quality they deserve and finish up their work.

Posted 9 years agoI don't talk about myself or my life much here at all but I feel this is relevant enough to make a journal about.
My hard drive recently blew up, losing all of my sai settings, my liscence, tablet settings etc. Luckily my actual artwork was recovered but I'm in a position where i can't draw until I get my shit sorted with this new HDD.
there are also a lot of thins happening in my personal life and I’m worn so thin right now. It’s been a long, long few weeks and particularly the last week or so has been utter hell. I’m not coping as well as I ought, and I’m sorry.

I'd likely be offering either:
Pay by the hour in-stream commissions @ $15/hour
Grab Bag commissions where what you get is based off how I feel, might be a colour headshot, might be a fullbody sketch, but you'd always be getting your money's worth w/e I decided @ $25 each
