I honestly did. We went to this super fancy albeit itty-bitty little sushi place that had THE MOST AMAZING FOOD EVA!!!! We got like, 6 plates of sushi for 4 people, some of them pretty usual, others fuckin' awesome as hell that tasted like jizz in your mouth!

We also got some avocado salad (similar to potato salad or chicken salad etc.) which was also great, and this udon noodle soup that was extraordinary! We also had some shrimp tempura and fried sweet potato, the latter being SOOO GOOOOD!!!!

Aaaanndddd to top it all off we got 2 orders of fried ice cream, one flavor being coconut and the other red bean. (which was more like strawberry but still AMAZING!)

I'm up here with my sister in VT, and I have to say: their food beats ours by a longshot. They have the Vermont Sandwich Factory, which is a little hole-in-the-wall place that makes the most amazing sandwiches you will ever have, this sushi place, and Flatbreads, which is...I don't even have words to describe how much I love Flatbreads.

Man, it's nice a cold up here, the food is awesome, people are nice, (for the most part) and it snows a lot. Idk. I might have to move up here. If it weren't for the fact that I'm in the MIDDLE OF FUCKING NOWHERE I'd really consider coming up here for college :)

I'm not going to bullshit you and said I read the books, because I didn't. I know, I know, some of you hate me for seeing the movie without reading the books, but I wanted to be honest.

But seriously. The movie was AWESOME!!! Just the whole portrayal of it and everything was so cool! I love Thrash (The black guy) He's such a badass. "Just this one time, 12!" And OH MY GOD when Rue died I cried...I just lost it. My nails were digging into my neck.

The ending was abrupt, I think. I mean, what happens with Gale? I guess that's in the next book. It was such a great movie, I'm sooooo getting it when it comes out! Usually I don't like movies as much as I liked this one. I'm not a huge movie bum, believe me. I think my friend/future roommate/crush is rubbing off on me :) He loves movies.

Just thought I'd share, I was really moved by it.

I mean seriously. Now I'm good at time management, but lately I've just been sooooo busy. Between doing well in school, guitar, furry stuff, a couple organizations I'm involved with, and going to the gym, I barely have any time for myself during the day. Sheesh. I have hung out with my friends once in the past two weeks. This is a serious problem.

WHY CAN'T I FIND TIME DURING THE DAY!!?!?!

And I still don't get all of my homework done, and I'm still tired during the day. WTF.

I got a new routine with Jason at the gym the other day, and I swear my legs have turned into some type of liquid. I'm doing a barbell squat with lateral lunges (which absolutely KILL my legs) with some sort of step-up thing.

I'm gunna take a break from the gym for a little while....

So my trainer at the gym, Jason, is always coming up to me and saying stuff like, "Dude, you gotta check out that chick on the elliptical." He's young, about 25ish? So it's appropriate, I guess. I however, have always been uncomfortable with this, as I DON'T LIKE GIRLS. But he doesn't know I'm gay, so I just put up with it.

Anyway, the other day he was going off about some "hot chick" and I didn't really say anything to this, as I usually do. So finally he caught on and said "What, don't you like girls?" sarcastically, mind you. And I had no reply for him for a longer-than-comfortable pause. After what seemed like a really drawn-out pause, I just said, "What?" And then he figured it out. He said "It's alright if you don't. Just don't go to California." I left akwardly.

TL;DR Point is, still not comfortable sharing my sexuality with others.

Not feeling well... Think it's due to all of the CRAP I ate over the weekend. I just got back from a retreat. I ate so much junk. I think I've gained a pound or two over the past few weekends, but hey, that's what you get for being away 3 weekends in a row. We'll see how I feel in the morning.

Actually got to the gym today, but got there at 5:30 and totally forgot it closes at 7 on Sunday, and I need 2 and 1/2 hours at the gym. Oh well.

Sorta mush-brained right now. I need to practice >.< And...other stuff. Bwah I should sleep. Night.

I just watched the first half hour of Where the Wild Things Are, and I have to say, it was totally directed by furries. I mean, seriously, the kid wears this kigurumi-type thing the whole movie, and he's surrounded by these giant furry things, which some of them look a lot like some fursuits I've seen. And they all sleep in one massive fur pile!

Totally furries.

The rain outside is freaking me the hell out right now! It's the beginning of March and it's about 70 degrees, and it's like a thunderstorm out there! Just chillin at home when *WHAM* it hits the window in a big sheet. Very disappointed in Mother Nature right now. I want my cold weather so I can go skiing!

In other news, I actually have a day off tomorrow. WHAT IS THIS GYPSY MAGIC!? I thought days off were only found in fairy tales...

Leavin tomorrow for my basketball tournament!!! Can't wait, it's going to be so much fun. Basically, we getthere tomorrow night, set up the wii, play super smash bros brawl for a bit, have a late night snack, and then go to bed. Saturday will consist of intense playing of videogames interspersed with our sceduled games. Lawl.
We got the two best people on our team to break away from college for a bit to play with us! And god I'm so happy cuz we suck without them.

This is my second weekend in about a 5-weekend streak that I will be gone. Yay for being busy. Not.

So my one friend is rrreeeeaaaallllyyyy fruity, but he claims he is straight. I mean, like, SUPER FRUITY!!! His mom is a gym teacher and is a total butch (not bitch, she's actually really nice, yes there's a difference) and he is really fruity, so my friends and I like to say he and his mom switched haha!

Anyway, he is super cute and wants to room with me at Pitt next year, so I'd like to get to know him, to see if he'll admit to being gay. I mean, he flings his hands around and all, talks like a gay guy, sings Nikki Minaj, and even touches my leg sometimes. Is he gay, but just doesn't want to admit it? Cuz, I mean, we'd be rooming together. It'd be a perfect opportunity for me!

Marking period is ending, somehow stayed sane for this part of it haha! Sooooo busy lately, just a bunch of things to do yah know? Anyway, I'll be ending this semester off with a 4.0, and I'll only have to take 2 midterms! Yay!

I also figured out that I will be skiing for a whole 24 hours in the next 2 days. Not straight, (symbolism here, anyone?) but I will be at the mountain for most of the day tomorrow, and then all Saturday with my church youth group. Should be so much fun! Also, I broke a medicine ball at my gym today. Oops.

New York City during Christmas, beatiful cruise ship out of NJ, copious amounts of food, Florida Coast, indoor skydiving, learning to disc jockey, fine watch shopping, Atlantis, limo rides, wave runners at a private island, sketchy cab rides back through NJ, and Flatbreads pizza.

Hey all! Just go back from break, and have to say, it was pretty awesome. (especially the second to last listed above!)

It all started when we (my family and I) drove to NYC and spent the night there, looking at all the decorations and such. We then drove down to the port, where we boarded the beautiful Explorer of the Seas. Now starts the cruise! This ship was amazing. It has a sports court, mini golf course, in-line skating, the biggest and most beautiful theater of any cruise I've been on, (as this was my 12th) rock climbing wall, A FREAKING ICE SKATING RINK!!!, a royal promenade, and self-serve ice cream!
We had 7 nights on the ship, and we went to Port Canaveral in Florida, (Orlando area) Nassau, Bahamas, and Coco Cay, which is Royal Carribbean's private island.

I got to go indoor skydiving in Orlanado, which, let me tell you, was one of the craziest experiences of my life. I won't go into detail about it, but seriously. CHECK IT OUT!!! It was awesome! I also got to ride a wave runner, and see Atlantis!

From there I got to go up to Vermont, (I know, dramatic change in revenue huh?) and see my sister, who I rarely see anymore. We spent new years together, and went to Flatbreads with her, which is my fav restaurant :)

Overall, it was a very fun break. Hope you all had a great holiday!!! Time for bed.
