Posted 8 years agoI'm slowing thawing out, finally. My head is pounding though. Worth it that is for sure. I was able to get all the information that had happened while I was out so to speak from Glenn, my froggy familiar. He told me about the Museum that I really need to check out. I was coherent during the battle of the general store across the street from the tavern I was frozen. Samus had made some pretty awesome shots. There was something darker going on in this town. I still had my mind on that one person that I had persuaded to let us pass. I know he was going to be back with a vengeance. That dude was going to be pissed to see me and my companions. Kelseth and this new guy, some lizard monk named Rixis had left to talk with the Mayor. When the two came back that talked about a keystone being stolen, Glenn told me all this as again I was across the street frozen. Soon after the group took off to the Inn. Glenn didn't follow them he stayed with me. Come the morning everyone met up with me, I met the monk, hes cool. I gave him my quarterstaff and got my new staff of blizzard. So worth it.

D&D Jaml Journal update.
Posted 8 years agoSo Jaml had entered a drinking contest and he won't. But the downside is that he's frozen front the neck down and drunk. I have held back on writing up journals because normal people dont write a journal when they are drunk and frozen. So that is why there is no word from him. Im hopping that he will come back into play soon.

Posted 8 years agoThe group entered the town only to see a huge crowd in the town square. Talks about an illness in town. On the stage was who we could only assume was the mayor and next to him was the kid we saved from the Alchemist tower. I looked over to Chessa to see that she was staring at the kid intently. She really needs to chill out. Kelseth moved through the crowd to get closer to the stage. I pushed off to the side to hear more of the rumors and murmurs of the crowd. They all seemed upset about the illness and how the mayor was handling it. This gave me an idea about the Alchemist in town, maybe I can get info from him. The crowd dispersed and Kelseth went up to talk with the mayor.
We came back together to talk about what we would do. Kelseth was set on checking out the barracks so we let him do that. I told everyone of my master plan to try to get info from the local alchemist, using my new found bullshittery skills. Osborne and Samus went with me to find the Alchemist. Arrow and Chessa went off to find Marabelle.
Heading to the local Alchemist, we saw the poor guys surrounded by a crowd of upset villagers. Before heading into the crowd, i told Osborne of the plan, which was to trick the alchemist into thinking that I am a master alchemist. So that he would spill the beans if he knew i was this big master. Osborne nodded then yelled at the top of his lungs, telling everyone to make way for a master alchemist. The other alchemist was taken back by how amazing I was. I asked him if we can talk alone. he told the crowd that he was doing everything he could to get them medicine and to wait. things would be looking up now that I was around.
So I talked with him but I didnt get much out of him. Just that he came into town a week before all the problems. I told him I had potions to spare. he was happy about that. Then gave me some recipes and components for making them. We left the alchemist and started to walk away when Onyx flew out of the sky. Glenn (my frog familiar) said that there was something amiss and that we should follow the little dragon back to his master. So we did.
We came upon a small general shop and entered to see Chessa and Arrow around some boxes, one was opened with some crystals in it. Two humans stood nearby, I assumed they were the shop owners. Arrow was talking to them. I looked at the box with the crystals and walked over,
"Whats up with these?"
Arrow looked back,
"We need to dispell the magic in them, get to work."
I shrugged and started up. The plan here was to sit around and disspell the crystals, Chessa had found that the crates and boxes had construct parts in them. I had hopped we could use these constructs to help defend the town, with most of the guard sick and all. But Kelseth came in and said it was against his gods will. This is why I don't have a god. So just going along with everyone I did what I was supose to do. The two shopkeepers left and Osborne followed them out to their little play. Kelseth headed back off to the barracks.
Their wasnt much to do just popping the crystals and listening to Chessa complain about not being able to get into the chest in the back room. Soon though the shopkeeper and his wife came back. I was too busy focusing on the crystals to notices the wifes face when she came back in but Chessa noticed something. I finished up my work and headed to the door, Samus joined me. We got outside and I told the ranger to hang by and watch the door, Chessa was going to be a cat about it and wasnt going to leave at all. I headed to the bar, was kinda hungry.
I headed to the bar and sat down on a stool, looking over the menu I spotted a challenge, and the prize. A Blizzard staff! I needed a new one. Apparently I needed to drink 5 shots of something called Crystal Ball drinks at the bottom it said If you can survive 5 drinks and not turn into ice you win. Easy, exspect that I dont really drink. This should be fun. I called the barkeep over, a woman named Goldie and told her I would like to do her crystal ball challenge. She smilled and went into the back. While she was back there I took a spell resistance potion out and drank it, hoping it would help me.

Posted 8 years agoThe druid told us that the sword that Samus had nabbed was cursed and she might be as well for touching it. Then we all sat around sipping tea and eating. The old druid woman pulled me aside to play a game, if I won I would have gotten some info. But I lost cuz I didn't really understand the game. So She told us to sleep over because it was late.
Next morning we got muffins, special magical muffins. I ate mine and got +10 fire damage to melee or ranged attacks. We set out to the next town.
Night set upon us and we set up camp. Chessa went to cooking up a meal for us. Osborne just wanted some sleep so he was getting into his tent for the night. I was working on brewing up some more chems...i mean potions. Keltseth was on watch with Samus and her badger. Arrow was doing reading, as always.
"You hear that?"
I heard Kelseth say to Samus, she walked up to him and listened as well,
"The wind?"
"Yeah I guess."
Something was off so I listened in as well and instead of hearing wind and nature stuff I actually hear whispers and shuffling. Someone was near by. The horse that Chessa had liberated began to stir and tug on the lead we had him tied up to. Arrow went to calm the horse but got an arrow in his chest. Another arrow hit Kelseth's shield. Everyone jumped up, battle was afoot! Osborne came out in his underwear dagger drawn and crossbow at the ready. Arrow ducked out of the line of fire then I got tagged with an arrow. Seriously they don't faze me that much. Chessa and Samus had arrows drawn and ready to fire. Yet we still didnt know where to shoot. Arrow cast a light spell to illuminate the area around us to show that we were surrounded by constructs. I made the comment that we hadn't seen those in a long while. Up on the ridge a hooded figure stepped out into the light. He spoke in a very snooty douche voice.
"Give up your foolish quest and I will let you go."
Chessa and Samus had a target and readied to fire.
"Hold up! So you will let us go if we tell you we are going to give up the quest?"
"Yeah. Oh you are going to give up? Ok. Pack it up boys we are heading out."
The constructs began to retreat back into the woods.
"So I have your word right?"
"Duh, but we are still heading into the town near by."
Battle over.
I went back to messing with my alchemy everyone else was slightly dumbfounded.
"What just happened?"
I heard Kelseth say,
"I lied but he believed it."
"But how?"
Arrow said,
"Well I talked my way into this party didn't I?"
Chessa and Samus came back down to where the camp fire was. Chessa asked Arrow to set up some traps just in cause we had another uninvited visitor. Then we all went to bed.

Posted 8 years agoAfter our little encounter with the troop of knolls, Me Chessa and Osborne had some time to look over the things we had, well the rouge had grabbed. It looked like we had enough of the whitesbain, or we hopped. Now we just had to wait for the others. Thinking about it we wondered why they went anyway, but maybe they will find more of the herb. Time went by, I looked over some of my ingredients for some potions and stuff, as i really don't have books to look over like the wizard. I passed the time doing that and talking with my frog familiar Glenn. Did you know he is the 5th son of a great frog warrior? I'm glad to have him on my travels. So wise. After a few hours Kelseth, Arrow and Samus had returned with the merc leader and the tracker. Samus had told me what went down. They tried for a stealthy approach, putting the look out knoll to sleep, then proceeding to kill the two off in the distance, once the two were dead the Merc leader and tracker charged ahead to take on the rest of the camp. Samus grabbed a evil glowing sword then informed everyone that their might be more coming. The group took their leave of the camp with loots. While making their escape the knoll that was hit with the sleep arrow was waking up. The tracker took the scout knoll out and covered their tracks as everyone left.
With everyone back Chessa gave Kelseth the herbs and the cleric went into the house with the old lady. moments later he came out with the idol that the mercs wanted and handed it over. The merc leader tried to get us to join his group but we have things to do. They left. At this time it was starting to get dark and the old lady invited us in for tea. Hell yeah I want some tea. I raced in first. We all sat around a nice table with our tea and began to drink. The old woman revealed to us that she was a druid of sorts. I noticed she had a large selection of herbs and a vast knowledge to boot. She helped me identify some of the herbs and the mysterious blink potion I had. Kelseth leant over and asked me if he could get some more Rage potion, i whispered back to him, "Don't worry you will get your fix." I gave a chuckle after saying that. The old lady began to eye the sword that Samus had grabbed.
(thats where we stopped so i really dont know how to end it just like this i guess.)

Posted 8 years agoHeading back to the bodies we skidded to a stop, apparently a recovery party came to strip the dead.
Stealth mission began, Course I just stuck back and hide behind a tree while Osborne slipped his invisibility ring and snuck around. I couldnt tell too well but it looked like the rouge was doing the job up until I saw the worg spinning around as if chasing his tail. Something was up. Everything happened so fast as I saw a blur run by me and hit one of my tentacle legs, then i heard Osborne call for me to run. Don't have to tell me twice and we ran, but not before the worg came up over the ridge and he saw me. We legged it back to Chessa and the other mercs.
We got back to Chessa with time to tell them that we were going to have company. I figured it was just the three that were back there with the bodies but 2 worgs and 4 gnolls came out of the forest. We readied up for a fight, but before the battle one of the merc casters raced to the bridge and put down a sleep trap. The battle began, one of the gnoll warriors ran over the sleep trap and set it off, putting him to sleep along with the 2 worgs. Chessa summoned up a badger and readied her new polearm. The merc archer fired off an arrow that hit one of the warriors in the head then it exploded, killing the warrior and wounding a handful of the gnolls. The merc warrior stood back, Chessa had told him to hang back until the gnolls come over the bridge, which they ended up doing. I didnt want to burn a magic missile so i dusted off my old crossbow and fired, but missed, cuz it had been a long time since i used that damned thing. At one point the merc caster had used a spell to make some of the gnolls trip out. I flipped through a book I had to try to find out what spell it was but just couldnt find out what he did. One of the berserker charged at the merc caster but had to go through Chessa, Osborne, and the merc warrior. He didnt get past Chessa, she had managed to hit someone with her polearm, killing the berserker. The merc archer dropped the gnoll archer. The last 2 in play was the sleeping worgs, which Chessa and the merc warrior quickly ended. With the battle over, I started asking the merc caster 50 questions about the spell he had cast, he did not reveal his secrets to me. Chessa called me over to her and Osborne so I left the caster alone, for now. Osborne was looking through the sacks of stuff he had gotten from the gnolls and hopefully we got enough of the whiterun root to give to the old lady in the house. Now all we needed to do was get it to her, I came up with an idea that we were out gathering herbs for the old woman, it wasn't a complete lie. Tea leaves and what not. Just hope Kelseth, Arrow and Samus are having a better time on their end.

Posted 8 years agoAfter dealing with the knoll hunting party we all decided to camp for the night. Chessa noticed we were low on food and suggested a hunt. Samus volunteered seeing as she was a hunter and all. Chessa and Samus ventured off into the woods to hunt something. I was busy working on brewing some potions when the two left. You would assume hunting wouldn't take too long. But they returned with a boar. dang. Well we ate and everything was awesome.
In the morning we set out but ran into group of dead knolls. Something was ahead that killed these beasts. As we came up to a clearing we overheard yelling. We spread out, Samus and I went behind a rock, Chessa went right near some trees. Kelseth and Arrow straight up walked toward the group of guys. Our cleric went into the house then came back out with a side quest. Apparently the group of mercs around needed an item from the old woman in a house. She needed us to get some herb root things. Luckily i was training in Alchemy and know some components. We split up, Kelseth Arrow and Samus went with the Merc Leader to a knoll camp to get materials the old woman needed. I was going to head back to the group of dead knolls to see if they had some components on them, Osborne came with me. Chessa stuck around with her horse. She was outnumbered if she was going to try anything. A lot of the mercs were still camped out around the woman's house.

Posted 8 years agoWhile heading to the town we encountered a Knoll hunting party. A look out spotted us and sounded a horn. four knolls came out of the trees and they were with a huge worg. One of the fighters was too close for comfort to me and Samus. Osborne hit the dirt and disappeared on us. Seriously he was right next to me and just ducked down. Chessa moved in to block the fighter from cutting me and Samus down. Osborne aimed his crossbow at the archer that had sounded the horn but missed. I looked over to the cat fighter and wanted to help her so I walked behind her and touched her back, casting Mage armor. She has that spell but mine is way better. One of the hunters got closer and tossed an ax at out dear cleric but the poorly made ax bounced off his nice new shield. The fighter swung his club at Chessa but missed. Samus was close to the fighter to pull off a point blank rapid shot on the fighter, with her new bow she put some ice damage on the knoll fighter. The archer aimed his bow at Osborne but the arrow missed. Kelseth moved closer to another fighter but was unable to attack. My wizarding feline friend looked up to the archer and and pointed his paw at the knoll, casting hold person. Successfully holding the archer in place. The fighting continued and I stepped behind Arrow only to have the wizard be hit with an ax from the hunter. Feeling back about this happening, I stepped in front of him and to attack the hunter with 3 darts from my magic missile. This only angered the hunter and got him focused on me. He tossed an ax at me and I am not an acrobatic sorc like the famous Taako. So I got an ax in the chest, instantly flashbacks of the time I got stabbed with the spear came back. Not getting enough time to drink down a potion when an arrow from the elf ranger misfire knocked me down. I thought we were friends! She secretly hates green people. (her favored enemies are Goblins and Orcs so yeah) I drank a potion and scrambled into a small cave. Osborne managed to kill off the fighter with a well placed bolt. Arrow summoned up a riding dog to battle with the worg. Kelseth and Osborne surrounded the other fighter and began to attack him. Arrow used a magic missile ring on the hunter dropping him. Chessa went to shoot a shock arrow at the archer above me but misfired. Luckily the shock arrow discharged in her hands hurting her and not hitting me. Osborne continued trying to hit the fighter Kelseth is fighting but continues to miss. Samus readied 2 arrows as she did another rapid shot on the archer. She redeemed herself with the second arrow doing a critical hit. The ranger managed to freeze the archer for a turn. As I coward in the little cave when Samus shot her arrows. The worg attempted to attack but managed to stun itself. With the combined efforts of Osborne's crossbow bolt and my magic missile we took down the archer, shattering the knoll into small pieces. Samus moved to get a better shot at the worg, notched her bow and arrow tips with frost killed the worg. Me sighing in relief. With the battle ended, Chessa began to pick up all the weapons she dropped along the way.

Posted 8 years agoMy risk took its toil when the ghoul swiped at me. I had to get away so I did barely dodging another attack from the ghoul. Chessa was running around breaking the crystals as the rest of us began to attack the necromancer. The other hooded figure was bloody and began to retreat. Me and Arrow couldn't get another spell off before he jumped into a portal and disappeared, leaving his necromancer friend. So we all targeted him, all the Kelseth, who was busy with the revived ghoul. Samus and Kelseth continued attacking the ghoul while me arrow and Osborne focused on the necromancer. With our combined effort we took out the necromancer, with him down i ran toward the body only to be shocked from the water and knocked on my ass for some damage. This forced me to wait for someone more agile to loot the body. They always seem to think i want the loots. cant do shit with the calico grabbing up everything in sight. What is she gonna use the magic items for? well on the side shes studying magic now well shit. Osborne looted the necromancer, would have been nice to have gotten that necro foci. They still think its funny to call me squid man grrr. After looting the cave the ghost girl blinked into view, everyone could see her. Was wondering what she looked like, Samus wasn't really giving me a good description of her, just kept screaming there was a ghost. the girl, Emile, told us everything that happened. She said one of the villagers sold them out to the hooded figures. That villager was Davidson. She also requested that if her body was found that it be burred in the cave where we were.
Heading back to town in the darkness, as we got closer there was a pillar of light coming from the center of town. Apparently the priestess was pumping all her light magics into the obelisk. All the towns people were gathered in front of the barracks when we returned. Kelseth set out to find Davidson and he found him out by Ceila's burnt down house. Didn't take Kelseth long to make the slimly human spill the beans about his power grab for the town. The guards took him away and we all got some needed rest. Samus and I took Davidson's tent. He wasn't going to need it.
The next morning we all went around doing random stuff. I lost track of most of everyone really. All I wanted to do was get the info we needed from Orin about the journal we gave him. Then there was a commotion off to the side of the barracks in the tents. I saw Chessa and Osborne getting thrown out of a tent that one of the drow elves owned. Chessa ran off to get the guards, saying that the drow elf had illegal items. They checked it out but found nothing. Kelseth came over to see what was up then did a detect magic which made the tent bulge with items. She had been stealing from the town. The guards arrested her and went through the loot in her tent, dividing up all the goods. They took the stolen supplies but there was still a bunch left. The mayor said that we could have whatever was left.

Posted 8 years agoWe regrouped in town then headed off to the cave. I swear I remember someone saying something about stealth but as we got closer to the cave it seemed more of a suggestion then something we would do. Samus informed us that the ghost girl was still at the mouth of the cave and strangely kelseth could see her too. The two of them must be intune with the girl. Knowing that she wasn't crazy for seeing a ghost Samus was pretty happy that our cleric could see the girl as well. Before entering the cave everybody started putting buffs on, drinking potions and mage armor. Kelseth set one foot into the cave and could smell the evil necromancy. Inside was 4 skeletons and in the back chanting over a purple crystal was two hooded figures. I was glad that Samus and I had made the "tactical retreat". The skeletons took notice of the big cleric and let off a warning "cry"? Battle began. When my turn came up I knew I had to stop the two in the back from their evil chantings so I cast a magic middle which interrupted the spell. This only stalled them for a moment as they started up again. Osborne snuck around some rocks and shot off a fireball from a ring he had acquired . burning one of the hooded figures and making the other one focus on us. The one that turned to fight us was a necromancer. Kelseth set off one of his powerful undead killing attacks that disentagrated two of the skeleton's around him. From around a corner came a fiendish ghoul. We had interrupted his snack of cow and he came at Kelseth and Chessa. He had been wounded from the powerful undead killing spell. I shot off another volley of magic missle to stop the two again, this time grabbing the full attention of the other figure. Samus managed to put down the ghoul with a well aimed shot to the head and gave Kelseth a thumbs up. "You think you have won?!" The necromancer yelled then snapped his finger and a green crystal next to tge ghoul shattered and the ghoul rose up again. Son of a bitch. Should have seen it coming though. The necromancer then cast spectral hand. Arrow yelled back to me, "he casted one of your moves!" And the only thing I could say to that was "ILL KILL HIM!" I also really wanted to see the ghoul run away in terror so I made a risky move (had no time to cast spectral hand myself) and stepped up to the ghoul my green hand glowing blue as I reached out to touch the undead monster......only to miss!

Posted 8 years agoWith Chessa, Kelseth, Osborne and the two other elves returning with a horse and a knocked out dwarf dude. They told everyone what had happened. There was an attack on the dwarf's house, a guy that we were seeking out named Orin. Chessa engaged one of the attackers, only to be beating up pretty badly but with Kelseth's help they won and saved Orin.
Stepping up to Beatrice, the mayor, Samus and I asked her where the cave of the girl died in. But after we found out it was sealed Samus asked about the obelisk. So we turned to Arrow about reading the runes on the obelisk. He told us that the older looking runes are hard to make out while the newer ones at the base seem off. He told us it would take some time to decipher. Samus and I approached a young man named Gregory. Using my amazing diplomacy skills I asked the fine young man where to find the cave where the girl was found.
Samus and I went off to find the cave thanks to Gregory's directions. Apparently Samus was the only one that could see the ghost girl. She grabbed my hand, while she was scared yet she informed me that she could see the girl. A side note, the group has gone to giving me the nickname of Squid Man. Not really a name I enjoy but whatever. Samus lead me through the woods until we got to the mouth of the cave, surprise surprise the cave was unsealed. We heard noises from deeper in the cave. We went into stealth mode, but failed (i rolled a 2) Samus kicked some rocks and froze up. We agreed to head back to the village to get backup.
When Samus and I returned to the village shit was already starting to happen, the obelisk was glowing purple. Chessa rushed with a greatsword and smashed it down on the glowing obelisk. The damage done was reflected back on the poor feline launching her back 10 feet and on her ass. Everyone agreed not to attack the obelisk. Kelseth began casting light spells on it seeing as the magic on the obelisk was coruption, light spells might work. It didn't. Vannah, one of the elf priestess began to contain the obelisk. She said something that reminded me of the cave nearby. I got a chance to tell my party that well there was a cave nearby with some badguys. Arrow backed up my statement saying that a channeling spell would have to be nearby. So off to the cave we went.

Posted 8 years agoAfter looking over the obelisk and not really understanding arcana that well, I abandoned my search and went to check up on my feline wizard companion. Arrow was checking out the boarded up well which we found out was tainted with some poison of some kind. Arrow didn't need me help seeing as I really don't have knowlage in the arcana. I just cast spells that do stuff and I'm happy with it so why have knownalge in the arcana. I noticed kelseth and chessa with two elves. Apparently they were heading out to the guy we originally came here to find. Almost forgot about the cultist book we needed translated. So the four went off, I figured they didnt need my help. After they left I spotted our rouge halfling trail after them, but much much later. With nothing else to do I met up with Samus again, who always felt like she was the only one that liked being around me. We talked about the ghost girl and figured we should ask the mayor about where the cave is. A cave where the villagers found the dead girl. Maybe we can figure something out about her.
(Wasn't much to this play, it focused more on chessa and kelseth at the hermits place. Chessa brashly rushed in to fight someone she shouldn't have and a fight broke out, the hermits house burnt down but the hermit was saved thanks to the cleric.)

Entering the town of Emeral, smoke. There was a fire, one of the houses in the small town was on fire. Our feline fighter, instead of rushing for buckets of water, decided to interrogate the frantic villagers about the fire. Our friendly lizard cleric helped with the well as the wizard and I raced to the burning house. Figuring we could use some spells to stop the growth of the fire. There was a use for Ray of Frost after all and the both of us began shooting beams of frost around the house. Osborne and Samus helped with the buckets and helped quell the fire. I noticed one woman, glasses, book worm look to her. She was trying to get into the house but the local millita was stopping her. She turned to me and Arrow and asked for someone to go in and get a chest with important papers and documents. Feeling that this was my time to shine and I figured if i can get inside the house maybe i can fight the fire from inside, I stepped up before Chessa could say a word. Everyone looked at me like i was crazy but I wanted to do this. In all the craziness i may have not heard the woman, who's name was Cielia, say where the chest of important papers where. Chessa grabbed a blanket and tossed water on it then threw it on me and i ran into the burning house. Arrow told his familiar to join me, so i had a little drake on my shoulder when i stepped into the house, with my froggy Glenn in my pocket.
Inside the house the fire was intense, I figured Cielia's room was upstairs so i headed through the living room. But i stopped and some reason i thought i was going the wrong way so i went back and upstairs. Outside, I heard that Samus was worried about me and ran in with a bucket of water. Upstairs in the womans room i began to grab up books that weren't on fire and other stuff that looked important. Downstairs I heard Samus come in and she yelled to me that the chest i was suppose to find was near the kitchen. I went downstairs to Samus and we traveled to the kitchen, there the chest was. Samus opened it and shoved all the stuff on the desk into the chest. With that done we both headed back to where we came from but the fire was consuming the house fast and the roof began to cave in blocking the way out. Through a window I heard Chessa yelling for us to get out, she's so helpful sometimes. There was a small opening for the half elf and me to squeeze through. Samus tossed the bucket of water on the burning debris and we managed to get out. As we got closer to the exit Chessa pulled us out. Coughing and gagging from the smoke, I presented the chest and all the things i gathered to Cielia. She was grateful and i got a hug. It was nice. I don't get many of those.
With the fire dying out and things calming down we split up to talk with people around the village. I wandered over to a strange looking Obelisk while Osborne wandered about as Kelseth met up with Chessa. Arrow began to investigate a boarded up well, which we found out was a tainted source of water. Chessa and Kelseth went off to talk to some elves off to the side, Samus accompanied them. I have no idea what was going on and what they were talking about, but soon after I spotted Samus in the small forested area behind where I was looking over the Obelisk. She was talking to someone that I couldnt see then as she came closer to me she got pale and froze. I asked her if she was ok and then she just screamed GHOST and ran off. I shrugged and continued looking over the strange Obelisk.

Posted 9 years agoSo I want to make up some journals about the D&D adventure with my mind flayer sorc Jaml. I'll have to make the first journal super long seeing as I will have to summaries the older adventures and get it all caught up. Its going to be in 1st person but as I have said before the first will be lengthy and bare minimum on the details until it's caught up. OK here we go.
Personal journal of Illithid Jaml sorcerer.
My adventure started in a tavern like all or most seem to start. A flyer that promised treasure and what not. Knowing that these flyers were all over the town I left as soon as I had my gear. Hopping that there was still treasure to be found.
At the entrance I met up with a feline fighter. I talked my way into getting her to help me out, could use a sturdy meat shield so to speak. Her name was Chessa. After clearing a couple of rooms we set up camp, so that I could refresh my spells.
The next morning we met up with two more adventurer's. Another feline a wizard and a lizard cleric of the sunbutt. Cleric are good to have around. The wizard seems annoyed at me for no reason, at the time I had no idea about how wizards saw sorcerers. I tried my best to be friends with him. The new comers were named Arrow and Kelseth.
We continued on fighting through undead and goblins. There was puzzles too which I stayed away from. The final room reveled a blue drake! The battle was long and harsh, Chessa and I had fallen Kelseth landing the killing blow and bringing us up. I recall taking the horns of the beast but they are not in my pack anymore.
After our first adventure we all figured we should travel together. Kelseth became out leader I really didn't want to fight a huge mace wielding lizard for the title. The next adventure I have a hard time remembering too well. I remember goblins and a cave. The last encounter was of a huge hobgoblin and with that beast down we fought a tiny dragon. The loot we encountered, while interesting was the towns therefor I could not take any without feeling the wrath of Kelseth.
While heading to the town of Glendale the caravan we were traveling with hit trouble while trying to cross the bridge. I have no strength like at all so I was no real help. But we managed to save most of the caravan people. Two new members joined up with us, a half elf named Samus and a half-ling named Osborne. I gotta say Samus is pretty hot but its hard to tell if she likes being around me and its hard to read Osborne.
We found out that one of the passengers in the caravan was the mayors son. When Kelseth heard that he promised to find the child like a hero. That night we stayed in the mayors house and while the rest of us slept Osborne was up to see a portal open up and a strange hooded man come out. Before the half-ling could attack he was forced to sleep but not before the rest of us heard the commotion. We were no match for the hooded man and his buddies.
The next morning was horrific as the town burst into a blast of fire. But somehow we managed to stay alive in a ward of some kind that even Arrow couldn't tell who made it. This adventure turned from a kidnapping to saving the world it would seem.
We left the now glasses town of Glendale and headed to Riverside, catching a ride on a ship and finding, thanks to me, a box of volatile magics. Kelseth and Chessa came up with the idea of having the box taken somewhere safe as to not have a repeat of Glendale. We arrived in riverside and helped out a very nice lady named Marabelle, who happened to own the local brothel. One of her side quests brought us face to face with the hooded man from before, Arrow faced off against the evil sorc with my help. Chessa managed to capture a young man and a trader from riverside who was working with the cultist. Heading back we were greeted with battle, constructs had assaulted the town. We fought them off and won.
Marabelle informed us of a hermit that could help us with the cultist and we departed for the town of emeral. Along the way we took a side quest and cleared out some bandits that worked for the trader we had captured.

Posted 9 years agoSo glad I wasnt suspended on my birthday.
Just in case you guys didn't know i was gone. I was.
It was like being in the deadzone, seeing things happening and not being able to respond. It was horrible.
also the FA appeals never responded to me. amazing. *slow clap*
So currently, if you must know, I'm working on a zootopia story a very awesome artist asked me to write. Ive been super depressed because of the 3 days suspension that i wasnt able to write. ya, thanks.
Also, i had started on a story that would bring Erebus into the modern setting (with John Wolfen and all) Hopping to get a sweet picture of that evil newt dressed in a black suit all evil looking owning a huge company. The thing is that possibly the God choice was picked and thats where the world of John Wolfen exists. we shall see
