Slowly But Surely
Posted 7 years agoHowdy. Before now I wasn't super active, but right now I'm starting with art I've meant to upload many years back. With all this art I don't see a point in not showing it off at some point, especially with others interested.
Then I'll likely be posting some art of my own characters. It was something I've danced around for a while, but this makes it easier to crack into.

Who's Open?
Posted 10 years agoI'm looking for accounts who are taking commissions of foot-centric activities recently. Haven't had much luck lately. Anyone know of the like?
Free art? (Not by me)

ihateeveryone is offering free art for 3 winners only. For details, go here: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/5571333/My latest commission: Meh.
Posted 12 years agoThe last commission I got, in all honesty, didn't turn out as well as I thought it would. It just ended up being a waste of money and a wasted idea. The character looked out of design and just downright wrong.
The artist practically took my money because he was too much of a baby to help me finish the piece the way I would've wanted just because he went on about how "hard" he worked on the sketches when they A: weren't even that great, and B: So many other artists allow for multiple revisions. I also hate how he thought rushing it would help him get to the other commissioner's art sooner.
Last time I checked, you don't finish someone's art until the vision is perfect. Some people can't visualize everything correctly on the first or even the second time, but its pretty easy that he wasn't thinking like that considering the fact that he wanted me to pay an extra $5 to fix the face on a NYOP (Name Your Own Price) commission. He was understanding, but I hate the way he came off about it, like I was making him do a shaded piece when paying for line art. I shouldn't even bring up the fact that he was practically begging commissioners for work and that I should've just stuck with artists I'm used to commissioning, but I thought "Hey! It might just be a great idea! Getting some good art at a low price!". I was completely wrong. It just ended up being a basic flat color with much of what I asked for looking half-assed and not at all like the character I wanted. In the end, I should've just stuck with who I worked with in the past. I might still have been broke, but I would've been happy.
And that's it for today.
