Finally a new story published
Posted 12 years agoCheck it out! Not furry, but I think everyone can relate to the feeling that patience is NOT a virtue.
The Patient Man is published on Solarcide.

It's a dark little piece of fiction. Enjoy!

The story that represents me best
Posted 12 years agoI want to remind everyone of this story, published a little over a year ago. Back Road.
http://pinkfoxpublications.net/back-road/
Looking back on everything I have out there (see: http://daydreamingintext.blogspot.c.....hed-works.html), I realize this is the only story which I think truly represents me as an author and a person.
My other stories (such as Felix and the Sacred Thor, Life Cycle, Pain is Revenge, etc.) are fun deviations and show off great range, but they aren't what I'd call typical me.
As of yet, Back Road is the only story I have published that represents who I am. I'm still working on getting more of that out there.

New story released
Posted 12 years agoThis isn't furry, but I finally have a new story published. Pain is Revenge. Check it out; you can read it as part of the Amazon sampler.
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CVL9I36
It's a horror story. Not something I usually write. If you like what you read, check out the anthology!
Stuff of greater interest to furry should come in the future.

Bechdel test, passed!
Posted 12 years agoHey, I finally wrote a story that passes the Bechdel Test! And it's good enough for a professional market!
http://bechdeltest.com/
Duotrope has opened up the writer's market to me and I'm thrilled to have stories in pro-market slush piles. But I still have to read the markets and figure out if I have anything they'll go for. I dislike the process, but it's necessary.

Goal for 2013
Posted 13 years agoThis year I resolve to earn real pro-market credits.
Though much of what I write would never fly in professional markets (I love you, Life Cycle!), I want to aim for them!
Pro credits and/or a new novel in print. That's my goal for 2013.

Abandoned Places
Posted 13 years agoabandonedplaces sent me an acceptance letter. I'll have a story in the upcoming Abandoned Places anthology.
Been keeping an eye on this one for quite some time. I liked the theme and I enjoyed the challenge of writing something for it. I look forward to seeing how the anthology turns out!

I'm happy for another story in print soon! They published another piece of mine, Sharp Rain, in their 100 horrors collection.

New story in a new anthology
Posted 13 years ago*crosspost from my blog*
The man stood in the middle of the bonsai valley. Miniature redwoods, birch, sycamore and every other species surrounded him in the valley, reaching no higher than his waist. Between these were even tinier bushes and shrubs. The flowers that grew on them were miniscule to match. He felt like a giant.
The man was bruised, bloody and caked in mud. He masturbated. He planted his seed, and now the man stood exhausted. He had planted his seed all over the valley and had nothing left in him now. He collapsed and slowly died of starvation, content that he had succeeded...
New story released in the anthology from Bizarro Press, Tall Tales with Short Cocks volume 2
"Life Cycle" is mine!
It's not a furry story, so I can't get away with a submission post here, but I'm very proud of this one. Definitely one of my stranger stories, not for the casual reader, but perfect for those who like weirdness to be extreme. Check it out!

Death Note
Posted 13 years agoI finished the Death Note series. I'm not a big anime fan, but it was quite a series. I can tell why I've heard so much about it. It's suspenseful. Took a few uncomfortable turns and it often felt like the rules were stretched pretty far, but it still worked very well. I was hooked. Well, that kept the boredom away for a while.
Maybe now my mind is cleared enough to edit some new short stories in the works.

received word that...
Posted 13 years ago...two short stories are accepted into upcoming anthologies. One of them is furry-related, the other is pure bizarro. More details to come later!
I needed some good news. It's been a very light year on publishing credits and I was hoping for a few more before the year is out. It helps confirm that I'm not just wasting my time, something all writers, artists and musicians are prone to do.

Attention consumers
Posted 13 years agoAttention consumers: Halloween is NOT a glittery holiday. Please stop buying Halloween decorations covered in glitter. Manufacturers will only keep making the shit it if you keep buying it.
