Everything's on schedule; not a lot of pictures since I got a handful of back to back secret debut suits for EF. Just posted a new yeener though.

I have a couple of commission slots still available for completion by next year's AC and once those fill up I'm going to close for a little while again -- 1-2 months pending how things are going around here in the meanwhile. If you're interested in a spot or inquired earlier and never quite decided drop me a line or get your downpayment in now as I suspect those will go relatively quickly.

I've answered every outstanding email that I had so if you didn't get a responce odds are it bounced through spam / I had a couple forms with misspelled email addresses that I couldn't answer. Please drop it my way again!

Dunno how many folks out there are regular Warcraft players but they have been posting class previews and new level 85 spells for each class this week and while most of the ones that apply to me have me feeling pretty iffy or disappointed (warrior and hunter, mainly..) they posted the druid changes today and they are amazing. This is so fucking ridiculous I can't not love everything about it:


Wild Mushroom (Level 85): Grows a magical mushroom at the target location. After 4 seconds the mushroom becomes invisible. Enemies who cross the mushroom detonate it, causing it to deal area-of-effect damage, though its damage component will remain very effective against single targets. The druid can also choose to detonate the mushroom ahead of time. This is primarily a tool for the Balance druid, and there will be talents that play off of it. No cooldown. 40-yard range. Instant cast.

yep, me too: just posting to give a couple shoutouts and say that i had a rather good time at FWA.

i didn't suit very much at all -- was just not feeling it, honestly. something's just really been throwing off my groove this week (which kind of sucks but there was more than enough positive to make up for it). i did wear gent and joecifur for a while on saturday; rusty was in the wild dog.

i met a ton of new people and customers, all of whom were really, really cool, which was really, really refreshing. i know i was kind of out of it for most of those conversations but i was glad to meet you folks nonetheless. :]

the learn-to-sew-a-tail panel on sunday went over really well! we expected about 10 due to the timeslot and basic nature of the project, brought materials for about 15, and ended up with over 30 people. so we had to downsize to making slightly larger than normal keychain tails, but everyone was really cool about sharing and helping each other out. i'll definitely be doing something similar with a few changes at RCFM in may.

and finally, of course -- i miss all of my friends haha. i have to take the dog back to the airport in a little bit, and i already miss hanging out with everyone else who took off back up the east coast. you guys know who you are. i know not a lot of people are coming to rcfm, so i'll keep my fingers crossed that i'll be able to actually afford AC this year as right now i'm not really sure. heres hoping!

Hope to see some of you guys at FWA this weekend. I'm going to pick my boyfriend up from the airport on Thursday, drive back up here to hopefully get one or two more things done just in time, and then head down to the con on Friday.

Also, I'm running a Fursuit 101 panel on Sunday at 2PM in the Fulton / Panels Room II. This is THE most basic of the basics: HOW TO SEW. It always surprises me that so many people never get the chance to learn something this basic, but they really never do! Besides, this is a skill that isn't just helpful for fursuiting, it's a lot more helpful in your everyday life than you'd think. :)

I'll have a limited amount of faux fur and supplies to help at least 10 or so people practise what they've learned by making themselves a tail, too. :) I hope to do something similar at RCFM as well for those who might not get the chance to make one at this con.

Anyway, back to work, and hope to see a few folks there if all goes well.

Yeah I will be at FWA in a couple of weeks since it is already paid for, briefly anyway. No new suits, not really planning on suiting, my interest level in anything right now is pretty much zero.

There are honestly (more than) several people / suits that I really would like to work on and am really looking forward to, but in general I have got to be honest and say that for various reasons at this point I would truly prefer to refund as many people as possible and at least know that things were made right rather than have the continual disappointment in both the wait and the commissions themselves. a PLAIN NINTENDO. i later acquired a zapper, and a power pad to play the running game on, and then a power glove, which is to this day THE most useless and awkward gaming peripheral i have ever encountered lol

i like capcom. :j i got into snk characters more, though, and later on square more than either of those.

Second, I'm thinking about taking one more partial fursuit commission, to be completed well in time for AC 2009, now that I've re-counted the list. This would be a head with static jaw and toony eyes, arm-length handpaws, boot cuff feetpaws and a tail. It will be a flat $1000 including shipping. THIS IS NOT FIRST COME FIRST SERVE, so don't panic! I'll take emails on it for a couple of days. Preference given to those who are able to put down half or more up front and whose character designs would go best with my style. In other words, I will probably not be able to make any super-realistic werewolves or rainbow trout unless they really inspire me. :d
