all things sex!
General | Posted 16 years agoSo, I'm sure that most of you have noticed... I draw pervy things.
I know, I know... I should be ashamed of myself... such filth... tsk tsk tsk... but here's the thing. I'm a lover of all things sex. No matter if it's sex and art, societies attitude towards sex, sex culture here and around the world, the history of sexuality, sex and religion or any of the hundreds of fetishes, I love it all. It fascinates me to no end. I love talking about how we as a society and as individuals have come to the stance on sex that we currently have and how we're apt to change. And it's not just me, my wife also shares the same interest on it and has talked a history of sexuality in university.
We've had many a conversation about who we are as children and our experiences leading up to some of our first sexual experience will shape our likes and dislikes in regards to sex... and it only grows from there as we get older! How interaction with you parents will influence on your choice of partner in the future. How the Catholic Church seems to have this downward look on sex but in their own Bible it says that God made man in his own image, and if we're sexual creatures, wouldn't that mean that God is sexy too? Why some of us so against nudity? How some people become sexual predators and dangerous side of sex (because sex isn't always fun for everyone). About how the internet has connected people with like interests so you don't have to feel alone if you happen to like certain things (because there is always someone out there that will share you interest). We've talked about zillion different fetishes like pony play, cartoon porn, porn addicts, bondage, bestiality and pedophilia , clown fetishes, lactation fetishes, shaving fetishes (as in people that shave their entire bodies!), water sports, etc, etc, etc... Also about sexual attitudes of other countries and though out history Like how we're no longer in the Victorian age but we still hang on to a lot of the views and attitudes from that time. Plus so many other topics...
Some of us fight to not be sexual creatures but it's something that we'll never be able to escape from... and why should we? Sex, nudity and all the things that go along with them make us who we are and we should not deny our selves that pleasure. There is such a variety of flavors out there that everyone will be able to find something that they like. Weather it be having your partner pour hot wax on you or just the joy you get when you look at dirty furry pictures, it's all utterly fascinating to me and I could talk about it forever.
I'll also throw in there that I'm a love of the act of sex too. Woo!!! Am I ever! Now don't get me started on that topic... I'll save it for another post.

Disney buys Marvel!
General | Posted 16 years agoFor...
FOUR BILLION DOLLARS!!!!
All I can say is... I totally didn't see this coming. It's such a strange marriage for sure. I'm sure that Disney won't touch Marvel and will just continue to let that machine run the way it's been running, but... damn!
So does that mean Kingdom Hearts will can now feature Ariel AND Namor?
hee hee hee ^_^

no... I'm not dead
General | Posted 16 years agoWow... it's been a while since I posted anything eh. Well, I guess it's time for me to pop in and fill people in with what's been the deal these past few months. Remember I mentioned that my brother in law and his family moved in with us in January? Yeah... well... that's what happened. While it was nice a fun for a bit, it slowly became more painful. I'd say about 75% painful... my art and commissions stopped (or slowed right down to almost nothing)... and my posts stopped. *sigh*
Well, they've moved out a few weeks ago and things are getting back to normal in my house. The place is quieter and cleaner now and my kids are playing excellent together again rather then before when their cousins lived with us. Someone was almost always crying.
All that's left is the we now have to pay the bills that have been jack up (like hydro) with two families living under one home. Suck... so let this be a lesson to any of you... don't let anyone come in to your house and live with you... unless you plan on marring them.
I've learned my lesson... geez I feel like such a doormat.

DS Panty holder!
General | Posted 16 years agoNow you can show the world your perv limits by getting your own DS holder made to look like a pair of girls gym shorts!
If you live in Japan and you preorder a copy of Strike Witches you'll get a the above mentioned shorts holder for free! PERVY!
If you're new to Strike Witches though... this will make no sense, so let me help. Strike Witches is an anime series of young military witches that don't wear pants to fight off the invasion of alien creatures in the year 1939. Yup, that's right... they don't wear pants. But they do wear panties. Each witch wears her own unique pair and that is a key draw to the show... duh! It's needless to say that the crotch shots and fan service in this show it though the roof.
So yeah... preorder this new DS game and keep you DS in a pair of girls gym shorts. Or you could save yourself the money and just wrap your DS in your own underpants.
I'm not sure which is more disturbing though... o_O

Doki Majo Plus
General | Posted 16 years agoThe third game in SNK's in the Doki Doki Majo series should be out sometime this year. Why, there is already a trailer for the game for those that are interested. I do find it amusing that in the first on the boob touching aspect was like "oh my gosh! you can touch her boobies and they bounce! *blush* " Now SNK is full on for boob touching and has even gone so far as to have bum touching (watch to 3:30 spot to see what I'm talking about).
Now some argue that the girls in this DS game look way too young and are even going so far as to call it a pedo game (even if the girls in question have some HUGE boobs). What do you think? They're cartoon girls so it's okay, or are you on the "this sort of creeps me out" fence?
Me? Personally? I see nothing wrong with it. If it was in English, I'd probably pick these games up. Nintendo obviously see's nothing wrong with it or they wouldn't allows these games to make it to the shelves.

Fairy Girl
General | Posted 16 years agoSo when I was in Little Tokyo I bought a small anime figure. The first one I’ve ever purchased. She’s a part of the Range Murata PSE 3.0 collection. If you don’t know who Range Murata is, he’s an anime artist who incorporates futuristic and art deco elements in to his art and is probably best known for the Robot illustrated comic series and his other art books.
Anyway, his concepts are so outstanding that they get made in to statues and I'm very happy to have one. I might just look in to getting more. If you interested in seeing my photos of her, just wander over to my blog.
I did post one here though just so everyone can see.

E3: final day
General | Posted 16 years agophew... I never thought that jet lag would effect me so much. It's taken me this long (E3 ended last Thursday) to get back to normal. Not only was my sleep screwed up, but my eating was really screwed up. I didn't know when to eat... or when I should eat and Iwas hungry at strange times. I guess looking back I should have sticked to my own time zone schedule and I would have been fine. Oh well... next time.
So with it being the last day of my trip I had the joy of packing up and hauling all my stuff around with me all day since my flight didn't leave until 10:30 that night. But before I did that, I decided to go down to the beach and dip my feet in the water. I just could leave with out sticking my feet in the ocean. Okay, with that done I made my way back to downtown LA but not to E3... Oh, no. I made one last trip to Little Tokyo. I just had to have a bowl of ramen at Mr. Ramen. I also debated getting more toys, but backed down because I freaked out about how much I was spending. Which in hindsight wasn't much at all.
So anyway, I had a bowl of Ramen, which was the biggest god damn bowl or anything I've ever had in my life. Seriously. I couldn't possibly eat the whole bowl so I took half to go. Then I almost lost half of it due to a popped lid and later almost fell down some stairs in the Metro trying to carry it all. But I survived. ^_^ I also got to see an open air organic food market in front of city hall too. It was great and I even bought some fruit for later.
So back at E3, I wander some more and tried to check out the things that I missed. It was on this day that I played more games then the previous two days. I also stood in a few lines to try things. I told myself that I wouldn't stand in a line until the last day. There was too much to see to stand in a line early in my opinion. So I stood in a line to play the new Zelda DS game, which was pretty sweet. It plays really well, but is that really surprising? I played some PSP go (Little Big Planet) and was pleased with what I saw. No real surprises there. I played more Sin and Punishment 2 because the game just is too awesome. I mean... it's really great and it'll be on to get... in 2010. Ugh, such a long wait. I played some Cursed Mountain on Wii, which was great. I loved the feel of the game and the atmosphere is equally fantastic. Transformers on the 360 is also lots of fun too. If you're looking at getting it, you shouldn't be disappointed. A little more wandering around, a few more photos and it was time to leave E3... so sad...
I made my way to the airport with plenty of time to spare. I had to eat and drink a bunch of things before I got though the security checks though. Now, I should say that I never sleeping cars. Never, so why I thought I would sleep on a plane I'll never know. So yeah, I was stupid, crazy tired at the airport and even tried to sleep a little there before the plane. No dice. I didn't sleep on the plane ether, surprise, surprise... So I stayed up all night and watched the sun chase away the night at 37,000 feet. And you know... it was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen and something I'll never forget.
So yeah... E3 was something great for me. I don't feel like I need to go every year though. It was just something I wanted to do before I die. Looks like I can check something else off the list ^_^
Oh, and the photos for this day and day 3 are up on my blog for those that wish to see

E3: day 03
General | Posted 16 years agoSo what happened on day 3 at E3? Well, I've come to realize that as cool as it is being at E3, I miss all the news and announcements. I know, I know... it sounds strange. But the news is what I love hearing the most and I'm missing it all playing all the games. ^_^
So today I spent most of the day in the South Hall playing pretty much all the things at the Natsume booth. I sure to loves me some Harvest Moon, but none seem to be as good as the one on the 64. I also played a game at the NIS booth called Witches Tail. It's a cute little goth DS game with witches, vampires and such. It looked very nice. To my surprise though, the most fun I had was with a game called Fast Food Frenzy. It's like Cooking Mama in that you cook, but you're a short order cook so you have to do things faster then Mama. It was a blast!
I also played a ton of Red Steel 2. Now, I never played the first one, so I'm not jaded by the series. I was able to play with a fresh and open mind and you know what? I really liked it. The game play was fun (although a bit tiring) and the art style is fantastic. I give it two thumbs up. I was able to get my hands on some Soul Caliber on the PSP. I played very well and the female characters where... um... more then a little bouncy. ^_^
Later I watched Ubi show a demo of Splinter Cell Conviction. Now, they had it set up where a Ubi staffer would play the game and someone would talk to the crowd. I have a good guess why it was set up this way... the game wasn't playable at all. At least that's my guess. See, I just happened to see the most of the demo twice at two different times, at two different locations and I noticed that the staffers had Sam do the EXACT same moves. My guess is that the game isn't ready to play but Ubi had to show something cool. Just a hunch.
I also got to play some Tatsunoko vs Capcom finally. It plays just like a vs game from Capcom, but it's not at as quick and twitchy. I liked it too... even though I lost. After that I wandered to the Nintendo booth again and played some Wii Fit Plus. It's just like regular Wii Fit, infact, it as all the games from Wii Fit along with all the new ones. Which, from what I'm told, doubles the amount of games in it. I played one where my Mii was dressed as a chicken and I had to flap my arms and land on several platforms. It was lots of fun and I noticed people taking my picture as I flapped my way though the game. ^_^
Oh, one other thing I did was go down to Little Tokyo in LA... and man is it little. It's only about two blocks in total. I was looking for a Japanese book store but couldn't find it. It must not exist anymore. I did find a toy/figure store and a video store that had books in it. I found some art books but at $50 a pop... I passed. So I bought two little toys from an outlet shop. One was a Dragon Warrior pixel magnet display stand and the other was a figure in a box. Both had no windows in the packaging so it's completely random which one you get. Lucky I got the figure I wanted, but not the magnets... oh well. They're still cool. ^_^
Well, as soon as I get the pictures up on my blog, I'll let you guys know. I'll post the final day report later. ^_^

E3: day 02
General | Posted 16 years agoOh my god are my feet sore! Walking around the convention floor can really wear a guy down...
Well, let's see now, where to start. Well, I woke up this morning at about 4am because I'm still stuck in my time zone. Suck. So I got up and took some more pictures. Later, once everything opened up, I found myself at a crepe restaurant. It was there I had the pleasure of having a lemon and sugar crepe for breakfast. Man... it was super tasty!
Soon after that I made it to the hotel and on to a shuttle bus for E3. When I got there I didn't even have to make in to the building before I got my first E3 swag. It was a bottle of water promoting a new Wii game called Firefighter. I saved it for later as I figured I'd need it.
Oh! And I also almost lost my mind when I saw they had Ecto-1 right in front of the convention center! I was 8 years old again as I stared at it... I wanted to lick it but there was too many people around.
Soon I found the line that the rest of the geeks... er... people where waiting in and stood in the back of it. A few seconds later someone else stood behind me and the line got longer... a lot longer... only people really didn't use good logic and just twisted the line back in to the building. o_O Oh! And the guy right behind me was an uber geek in the worst way... with really bad social skills. Seriously... you know the kind of person I'm talking about. The ones that just talk loudly outward hoping that anyone will answer back, and when no one does they just answer them self. Yeah, that kind. And then some reporter comes over and INTERVIEWS the guy! Holy crap! Why do they always pick the worst ones to interview! sigh...
So yeah, when I got inside I the first booth I saw had Muramasa set up for demo play. Awww yeah! So I strolled right up and played me some of that and was in total awe of the beauty my eyes took in. Then I got a boner. I also played some KoF and a DS title called Nostalgia. After that I wandered around and checked out the other booths. Activision was a booth full of noise, and very large screens set up so show the new Tony Hawk title and DJ Hero among others. At Nintendo's booth I got to play Sin and Punishment 2, New Super Mario Bros Wii, Wii Sports Resort, Silent Hill Wii, Golden Sun DS (actually not a demo and just a clip), Some game where I had players follow me in a line (pretty fun), and the new Prof Layton on DS. All where lots of fun. ^_^
After that I wandered around and took pictures of the other booths and games. I didn't play much because most of the lines where kind of long and I didn't want to stand around when there was so much to see. I did see tons of Rock Band and Guitar Hero seeing that there was a bout a jillion sets up dotted around the convention. I also saw Batman Asylum game, God of War 3, Trauma Team on Wii, and played a bit of Desgaea 2 on PSP and Holy Invasion of Privacy Badman on PSP. All where pretty good from what I saw.
I didn't get to see much of the other hall at the convention center until the last hour. I figure I'll spend more time there tomorrow. That's where SquareEnix, Ubi, SEGA, Microsoft and all the others are. I did snap a few pics of there though.
But what was the most interesting part of my day? Well... I was hungry and so I went to the food court to have a bite. It was pretty full except for one guy sitting at a four seater table by himself. I asked if I could sit and he said sure. A few min later he gets up and leaves me all alone. But not for long... a very pretty booth lady (I find "booth babe" degrading) asks if she can sit at my table with me so she can eat. I said sure and we get to talking about games, where I'm from, what she does, what I do, traveling, LA and so forth. She was very nice, smart and a present to talk to. Soon her break is over and she has to get on to the floor again, but what does she do? She gives me her business card! It says she's a yoga instructor and wellness coach. Now I don't know if she was trying to pick me up or not but it sure was an ego boost for me I tell ya. I told me wife of course, I wouldn't keep something like this a secret. She thinks it funny and she got a bit jealous, but nothing bad. It's all in good fun ^_^
So yeah... first E3 ever and I get picked up by a booth lady. Rock on!
Pics of the first two days are now up at my blog if you wish to see. ^_^

E3: day 01
General | Posted 16 years agoSo far the trip has been good. The flight went up and then down in the appropriate fashion. No worries, although I could smell someones booze on the plane and it made me feel nauseous for the rest of the day... and add on a headache and it made for a not so pleasant evening. But if that's the worst of it then that's not so bad.
I also successfully navigated the Metro system here in LA to the convention center to get my pass and travel to my hotel that was wwwwwaaaaaayyyyyyyyy the crap over in Santa Monica. But that's okay too, because it's right on the beach. ^_^ It's quite breezy here and cool. Cooler then when I left Canada even. Which is also fine by me since that's the way I like it.
I haven't seen too much so far. Some giant ads for upcoming games and such but when I get a moment I'll put up day one photos on my blog. Actually, I just went to my blog site and for some reason it's not loading up. Suck....
One thing I like to do is try some fun new meals when I'm out. So far I've had a minestrone soup and a Cesar salad (for my upset belly last night) and a three egg breakfast with beacon and lemon sugar crepe at this place called Crepe Cafe. It was super tasty ^_^
Well, it's time to head out to the show via shuttle bus. I'll let you all in on the what and what later this evening.

E3... finally
General | Posted 16 years agoSo for the past bunch of years I've been trying to make it E3, GDC, or PAX. Have I made it to any of them? No... I have not. Well this is different.
I've been approved as someone in the industry to go for free.
My plane ticket has been bought and it only cost me $4 extra from the credit I had from last year.
My boss said I could stay with him at his hotel at no cost.
and being at E3 will not cost me any vacation days.
It all sounds too perfect a set up. I hope nothing goes wrong. I'll take bunch of pictures and post them when I get back or during if there is wifi in the hotel room.
Wish me luck. I'll be taking off on Monday and flying back on Thursday.
Yay!

Queen's Blade
General | Posted 16 years agoSo the last time I mentioned boobs in games it was for Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier. This time it's for a PSP game called Queen's Blade Spiral Chaos. It's what's called a "combat picture book game"... not sure what that means exactly. I do know that it looks sort of like Yggdra Union for GBA in the way that the combat is shown but this takes place with a one on one battle rather then small troops. Oh and this one has WAY more boob action. Like Super Robot Taisen, this has animated action sequences but the chest action is a lot more over the top. Just check the clip and see what I mean...
See... more jiggly boobs then you can shake a... um... boob at. Did I mention the cast of this game is completely female? Oh yes... yes it is...
So, not only do you get an arousing action game, but it looks like you can order a special box that comes with a super nice figure, a soundtrack and even an art book. Now that's sweet! I makes me want to buy a PSP damn it! PSP's arn't region locked right, cuze I doubt this will make it over here.
My blog has a bunch of screen shot too if you're interested... it has milk used in a suggestive way... in game... oh yeah... ^_^

a game for the ladies
General | Posted 16 years agowell... maybe not necessarily the ladies...
It's a WiiWare title full of big muscly guys in tight speedo type bathing suits, pandas in speedos, tight muscle asses, robots, aliens... and even a bikini here and there... It's called Muscle Koushinkyoku or Muscle March from Namco. In it you follow a line of other muscle guys as you run though brick walls and such. Then you strike the same pose as the hole in the wall with the wiimote and nunchuck so you can fit through and keep running. The longer you last, the faster the walls come up.
I dig the kookiness of the title and I'm even strong enough in my masculinity to give it a try should the situation arise. How about you... is this a title you'd be interested in? Or did you feel uncomfortable just watching the clip. ^_^

glasses
General | Posted 16 years agoThis topic came up last evening and it's something that always baffles me. Why do adults drag their feet so much when they have to get glasses? I know several adults that need to get glasses, or have glasses but won't wear them. One will always follow you in her car because she can't read the street signs. She has glasses but won't wear them. Another person I know needs to wear them only sometimes but won't even wear them that much because "my eyes will be come defendant on them and then I'll have to wear them all the time". So?! Is that such a horrible thing?
My wife was one of those people and I would be on her case to wear them because it's what the eye doctor told her. She wouldn't listen. Then one day during an eye exam her eye doctor yelled at her for not wearing them like she should be. Well by that point it was too late and her not wearing them had worn down her eyes so much that she now has to wear them all the time. This was some years ago though and now she's fine with them.
It's a subject that drives me right up the wall. The ass dragging and excuses that go on are just ridiculous. Especially since a lot of these people have kids and if they needed glasses you know they would make them wear them without any arguments. Grrr... Glasses
aren't some pain in the ass thing (although most think so). Picking out a pair can be kind of stressful but chooseing the right pair can make you look really good. I think women with glasses are quite sexy actually.
One a side note... I wear glasses and have since I was 8.

hakers + iDOLM@STER = dirty
General | Posted 16 years agoHackers... are they perverts? Or is it the rest of the pervert nation that just benefits from their hard work.
I only ask because after such discoveries like the Hot Coffee in GTA:SA, Resident Evil 4 breast enlargement we see a hack for the PSP version of iDOLM@ASTER. So what can you do in the hack? Nothing much except put the girls in game in to any pose you want. Oh... and I do mean ANY pose that you'd like. Sounds like this game got a whole lot more like 3D Custom Girl.
So yeah... hackers... perverts or suppliers of the perv.

Door to door
General | Posted 16 years agoSo the other day we get someone at our door asking if we're looking to have our driveway resealed and our lawns taken care of for the season as this company is in the neighbourhood doing just that. Right off the top I'm skeptical. I've been suckered in to this before. We have this company patch and reseal our driveway the driveway at our old house and they did such a crap job it wasn't worth the money we paid for it. I was so pissed...
I told my wife not to agree to anything until I talked to him and saw what he had to offer. The next day he came by again and he walked and talked me though the process that they do and they make sure that we agree to the work before they leave. I talked to my wife again (who feels the same as I do) and we agreed to try them out. They're going to come by and seal our driveway, patch up the cracks and rough spots in June or July.
I hope I'm not going to look like a fool again. I'll let you know how it works out. What would you have done in this instance?

Super Robot Taisen
General | Posted 16 years agoIt's been a while... sorry about that...
So lets start things of with some DS sexiness. Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier by Banpresto looks to be a pretty decent RPG until things start to heat up and the clothes come off! In an amusing... and arousing(?) cut scene we can watch the female characters power up and shred some upper body garments. No actual nudity is in the game but there is plenty of cleavage and bounciness to the extremely well endowed heroines.
Oh, yeah... there's guys in the game too... but they don't have boobs... so we'll just skip on that.
If you're still interested after reading the post, then check out the trailer here.
Jiggly ^_^

the science of boobs
General | Posted 16 years agoScience it pushing forward with new, potentially safer, ways of breast enhancement.
The technique is as follows... stem cells are taken from the woman's thigh or stomach and implanted in to the mammaries where they join the breast tissue and increase the size of the breast. Apparently there are all kinds of "pluses" to having the procedure. The new breasts will feel more natural, being made of the same fatty tissue and it'll also help promote the growth of new blood vessels. Yes, it's that simple.
This procedure has actually seen success in Japan where it's helping cancer victims that have had mastectomies. But in the coming months it'll be tested in clinical trials in Britain to see if it's a viable alternative to current breast enhancements.
I guess there are down sides too. This will only increase the volume of the breast tissue but not the firmness or the lift. Also, don't expect you breasts to get super huge. The results are only modest right now, but scientists are confident that they'll be able to increase breasts by a whole cup size. It also takes several months as the fat and stem cells mixture are made up in batches and injected over time.
Should all go well though, doctors are saying this could be ready for the public in about 6 months and cost about $9,600 US dollars.
Brings new meaning to "keep your hands of the merchandise."

Muramasa: the Demon Blade
General | Posted 16 years agoOnce and again I get excited about a video game... I mean really excited. Some times I get excited for games on systems i don't even own and so I watch them pass me by. But this time, I'm going to be all over it.
The game is called Muramasa: the Demon Blade (Oboro Maramasa in Japan) and it's being developed by VanillaWare for the Wii and the art looks so fantastic it gives me a boner. It's the kind of project I can only dream of being on.
For those that don't know VanillaWare, they made Odin Sphere on PS2 a few years back, another boner inducing game that I sadly missed. Now, I haven't played the game yet but it's the art direction that gets my engine going. See I'm a sucker for awesome 2D art in a game and this dev team does it like no other. Huge characters beautifully animated all over the screen is enough to make me drool.
From what I've read, the game is being called an action RPG and drops down here near the end of the year. The story takes place in feudal Japan and the character and background designs are fantastic. Japan gets the game this week though and I'm extremely jealous. Oh to live in Japan!
One last thing about this is that the game spouts some nice T & A. A lot of the female characters have HUGE boobs, and there is even a little tease of a hot springs scene as well. All that is okay in my books ^_^ I can't wait to pick this one up. It's going to be HOT.

Sex House
General | Posted 16 years agoSo the other day I was watching a documentary on tv with the wife. We don't watch many of them but we do enjoy ones that fall under our umbrella of interest. What was this one about you ask? Sex. Specifically, the sex trade in Canada (mostly). It was during this show that I learned something I didn't know. Prostitution is legal in Canada... ish. I say "ish" because there are rules you need to follow. You can't solicit sex on the street and you can't meet you clients in one common location, but if you're a call girl you can make appointments and meet people in their homes for sex in exchange for money.
Interesting.
It's set up this way to keep brothels and from setting up (which are illegal) but there are call girls in Vancouver that are challenging these laws. These call girls where interviewed and such and they're very nice people, they love what they do and they're not crack heads or anything (oh and they make about $200 an hour!). They're reason for challenging the laws is that currently the girls that are in the trade are going to peoples houses which does put them in an element of danger. If they (the girls) could set up proper sex houses they could provide security and health benefits for the girls, which would create jobs.
I'm all in favor of it in all honesty. I've never had a call girl but I think that the ones that pick the trade willingly and enjoy it totally own their profession. I know there are sex houses in Europe (Germany and such) and from what I hear they do very well. I would help get girls off the street and get them, what qualifies, as a job in the eyes of the government.
What's your take on it? Are you for or against legalizing sex houses?

upgrade complete
General | Posted 16 years agoFor some time now I've been trying to make time to upgrade my blog's wordpress junk. A new version came out some months ago with new features and such but I just couldn't get around to doing all the leg work required. Well I finally did it. Yay! Now my blog has threaded comments, which is a feature I've wanted for a long time now. Only problem was... they didn't work. Crap... now what... Well the reason was that my theme was not compatible with the new wordpress. So back to the internet I go to find a theme that I like so I can mess with it and put it up on my site.
I get really nervous messing with other people's themes. I'm not a programmer at all. I can barely do basic stuff at the best of times. I actually thought I screwed it all up but thankfully it was okay. So now I have a new theme AND threaded comments AND avatars! Woo!!!
Actually the avatars are called Gravatars. It's some sort of universal avatar system that works with wordpress sites. I had my doubts about it but after trying it out it was super easy to do and I don't have to worry about any of the backend code stuff to make things work. If you're registered at my blog I recommend you go get one.
The only thing I could get working was the lightbox2 plug in. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I'll live with it for now. I guess it's all a learning process.

sore throat
General | Posted 16 years agoHoly crap... what the hell has Joe been up too? He finished his 366 post thing and then went and disappeared. Actually, I've been sick. I caught some sort of viral infection and it knocked me on my ass. I had flu like symptoms for a few days and then my throat got so sore I wanted to shoot myself in the head. It was so bad it would keep me up at night as I laid there and tried to resist my bodies natural urge to swallow. I didn't want to eat anything and if I had a nap I would wake up in absolute pain from my throat.
It was awful. I'm not so bad now. It's been reduced to a cough that won't go away now. At least that's better then shooting myself in the head.
In other news... I've decided to try and learn the Game Maker program. I mean, I can push pixels and make game art... heck... it's what I do for a living. But I want to try and make some simple games myself. I have ideas that I'd like to try without having a studio get in the way and screw up what I want to do. Plus, even if I suggest an idea to the studio, it becomes their property. I won't be able to use it at all, so I'd rather try and see what I can do by myself. Nothing complex... just fun. ^_^
I'll post any good results that I have ^_^

boob grab
General | Posted 17 years agoI so want to play this crane game more then I've wanted to play any other. ^_^
I've actually had the pleasure of holding one of those "stress boobs". They're very squishy and quite heavy so I'm not sure how a crane claw is going to be able to grab one. Also those boobs tend to crack and split over time due to the gabbing and groping they receive. They should come with a complimentary bottle of coco butter cream.
Only in Japan baby... only in Japan...
