FRUSTRATION!
Posted 15 years agoFursonas are frustrating!
I'm not new to the fandom, per se, but I've only become active "recently". As a part of that, most furs choose a fursona right? Except I can't DECIDE! DDD:
Does anyone else have this problem? Or has had?

It's... ALIIIIVE
Posted 15 years agoYeah, so I'm more or less back.
*throws confetti*
Sorry, sorry, a million times sorry about just vanishing like I did. I have no excuse. :<
But, anyway, onto the NEWS!
1) I condensed all the HtTYD fic into one and reposted it, so if you were wanting to reread that or you haven't read it yet, go check it out.
... Plz
2) I'm currently brainstorming for the new installment of the Dragon fic, but there's no set date, so just be patient. ;3
3) I'm tossing a few ideas for original stories around in my head. Some based around my fursona(s) and some completely made up.
4) Anyone here read the Redwall series by Brian Jacques? *wink, wink, nudge, nudge*
5) Do you have any ideas for a story? Drop me a note if you're interested and requesting a story from me.
Well, thanks for sticking around! Love you guys!

Thanks for sticking around, and I'll do what I can.

Misc Musings
Posted 15 years agoTo kick this off, I'm just going to toss something out there.
Tooth fillings suck. Not so much the actual opperation, but more so the hours of numbness that follow.
Anyway. I just wanted to give another huge thank you to you guys who have been so supportive of me. I'm doing all I can to keep the new chapters pumping.
Also, I'd really appreciate it if you would give me yur opinions on the topic I stated in my previous journal. I really need to know what you guys think. Thanks to those who have already spoken with me.
Well, gonna head of to bed now, and maybe get some writing done. Hope to here from you all soon.
Peace!

Dragons, stars, and elsewhere...
Posted 15 years agoSo, who went and saw Dreamworks' How to Train Your Dragon? I did! And it was f'in amazing. One of the best animated movies I've seen... ever... of all time...
Now that I'm done gushing I'll get to my journal entry. So spring break started yesterday (or is it teh day before...?), and I kicked off the chill-out week with the previously named film. Again, awesome. I'm going to see it again in a few days, but that's not the point. The amazing idea, display, story, design, you name it.... Was outstanding. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and it was really one of those movies that got me thinking about our world....
Earth. Humans. We have such a boring existence compared to the other worlds that we house in our imagination. What I wouldn't give to live in a world where I could ride a dragon, slay zombies, or use magic. These amazing and entertaining ideas make me so.... depressed!
I sat outside for a good many hours last night... just staring up at the stars. I let my imagination run wild. I pictured things from many of my favorite stories flying through the night, but the one I kept coimg back to was that amazing movie I had seen only hours earlier. I pictured the rare and deadly Night Fury zipping through the sky at nearly unrecognizable speeds. I pictured dragons fighting in the night, fire iluminating the darkness, blotting out the stars. I pictured this... and I wanted to cry.
Something with the story of this simple movie really struck me. Maybe it was something inside that was gradually building, but something about the little viking boy trying to gain his father's approval, the misundertood battle of reptile and man, and that kick-ass black dragon that could move at speeds faster than sound and shoot neon blue bombs from its mouth really woke somwthing in me. I looked at the stars and thought of how drab our world is compared to the world of our own minds. I don't want to live as just some ordinary guy in some ordinary place with ordinary things happening. I want to be Hiccup, the smart and adventurous little viking who befriends the coolest dragon on the planet and saves his village. I want life to be fiction....
tl;dr
The earth sucks, and I want a pet dragon.
Go see How to Train Your Dragon. Now.
