I have been wanting to rebrand for a little over a year now and it finally feels like the best time to do it. As many know, John was a name I used to go by for a long while before changing all of my social media to Kevin, or Kev, or KevMax... except FA.

That being said, I plan to keep the profile up because it holds value and the art present is nice to have, even though most of it wont be getting transfered over. After some heavy consideration, my creative team and I have decided to separate my own page and TTTK, due to my account having a huge mix of content. That being said, I will not be deleting anything from here, but nothing new from this day forward will be posted here of TTTK accord, instead you will officially be able to find TTTK content over at  TTTK_Official

COMMISSIONS

Commissions are opening back up, with some modifications to pricing as well as a later on schedule, that will explain process.

Prices:
single Chapter Stories: 3-4 cents a word, based on complexity and context of said story
Fixed Chapter Stories: 150/chapter (If story is longer than 3 chapters), can be negotiated for a story you want in two or three parts.

I cannot believe the year is already gone, and we are in 2022. with that said thought I have a lot of stuff to express and share. Going in order of the title we will discuss each point quickly.

Tale to the King:

As said in the chapter 3 description, I had started writing later chapters of TTTK and just have yet to publish them. I wanted to make sure I mentally was happy with them and they were good. With that said, once I clear out my Commission Queue, I will be getting back to work with TTTK and get you guys a lot more chapters to read here soon.

Commissions and the Queue

Commissions are now open indefinitely for stories, as I am now fully in the swing of things. With that said here is the rate:

Single chapter stories are priced at 3 cents/word.
Multiple chapters (Cut off is 8 chapters) will have a flat rate we would discuss based on chapters, context and so on

Queue will always have 7 slots and that will be priority, but I will have a BACKUP queue for those who will basically be reached out to when the slot for them becomes available:

Now that the stuff has mostly been caught up and I spent a few days, I am here to announce some new stuff that will be put into effect immediately!

Commissions:

I am now going to do writing commissions for real this time, I have done thinking and have a former I want to do. This way I can keep myself busy even if I hit a snag in TTTK. Commission prices are as suc h:

For a simple short story, it will be 3 cents a word, so if you want to get a story that is short, sweet, simple, say 3000-5000 words, than it will cost you only 3 cents per word.

For anything larger it might go up to 4 cents depending on length, difficulty and idea, but we can talk and work it out based on difficulty.

If you want a full fledged set of chapters (Like say, 3 chapter story), we can work out a flat rate, no per word because gauging a chapter set is a little harder.

If you want to get a commission, please note me and I will get back to you when I can!

Second thing I want to address, we have officially went live on discord! There is now a Tale to the King fan server for people to come, hang out, talk about the story, now that I am back to writing we will be much more proactive in chatting with the audience, the people involved and so on. four months ago I posted a journal labeled "Late Birthday, remembering" and I did not expect that it would lead me down the path it did. I am back, but I will not promise an immediate rush to get back to posting TTTK, or anything like that. I have a backlog of art I need to get posted and submitted that I did not ever get around to in the four months+ I have been gone, and I want to get around to actually doing so. After I posted that journal, life decided that I didn't deserve to be happy, life decided it was time to take me and throw me around for a bit. I left my job, I had family in and out of the hospital, I fell into what can only be described as a very depressed rut. I lost a lot, my mental state wasn't the best, I lost my will to really push, and all in all I just wasn't in the right place, and I have been trying to get better even longer than the hiatus where I disappeared. I Wasn't fully gone though, I spent a lot of time to myself, spent time on Discord with my boyfriend, my best friends and just those close to me, just sat in a private discord server, we had fun, we played smash, mario kart, and just pushed to help me feel better. I cannot ask for a better group of people.  chump125,  sunbroskarin,  Shadowpaws1773,  mardozer725  Balistical just to name a few of the people in my server that helped me.

With that in mind however, I do want to be back, I have written TTTK chapter 2, I have started chapter 3, I have slowly gotten my drive back. But I also want to be serious and take on a task I have wanted to for a long time now, one that won't be immediate but we are planning it. I am going to focus primarily on TTTK obviously, but I want to branch out, this group of people I have been with are some of the best, funniest and kindest people I have ever had the honor of knowing and I want to expand my work and work with them more. Here is how:

We will be doing a TTTK voice series, where for those who can't sit and read the story will get the chance to hear us read it, either as our characters, as side characters, the narrator, or just anything like that, we will be working to make TTTK accessible for everyone, this story is a project full of love, and passion, and one I am determined to finish and I will make it something for these people to feel happy about, proud of for what they helped create. I Will have more info on that when the time comes.

I plan to start making videos, streaming and such more, and getting back into that. I do not have accounts made to reboot this idea, but I will soon, and I plan to let everyone I have befriended in on it and help me make content, because I want to make the world better, if even through a stupid video of us being silly for half an hour, or something like that. I have some ideas lined up like custom smash stages, or just us playing in general, and I plan to start streaming soon a game that I have a weird history with, but I will not say what it is just yet, that will be a surprise.

Another thing I myself am planning that will get its own journal after this one is I will be opening commissions, for real this time. I finished a very special request for two friends that had really pushed me to get my groove back, I will be posting that last to show when the motivation returned, before I post chapter 2 of TTTK.

With all that said, I am back, I am happy to be back, my mind is still struggling to keep itself together at times and depression is a real bitch, but I am fighting it every day, it hurts a lot some days, but I have people who care, and I Want to finally do what I love and not let it win.

So yesterday was my birthday, april 10th... I was mostly gone from the internet aside from talking to my friends and boyfriend over on discord. I spent the day with family... and then went to visit the grave of the person I share a birthday with, my father Inferno.  Inferno_the_dragon_Wolf and I shared a birthday and he was the biggest thing that kept my life going and gave it meaning. I miss him every day, and wish I had more time with him... Rest in peace dad. I will never forget you

So  chump125 and I decided and talked... TTTK is going to be redone and rebooted. I am happy with what we did so far but there has been such a disconnect that I just cannot push myself to fix and continue the story at present, there is just a lot wrong with it, from a story standpoint and a mental and emotional standpoint on my end.

So everything written now is going to be considered the trail timeline, and everything from the original arc 1-3 is going to be treated as "What happened but not complete". I plan to get to work soon and get things done for the better.

Well, another month is almost over and no work to show for it. This year has really been off to a horrible start and I won't like, it has progressively gotten worse as time went on, minus a few lights. Basically come January of next year, there will be a lot of big changes to my life, and I know that is a year out but I want to put this in a place I will always see and remind myself it will get better. In January, I will be moving in with my boyfriend  SunBroSkarin and my brothers  chump125 And my brother Shade who isn't on FA. After heavy contemplation and some heavy consideration, I think emotionally, mentally and many other reasons I need a change of pace, and I feel being around my boyfriend, and my brother who has helped me write TTTK from the start, it'll help me through stuff and just open up my work some. But that doesn't mean I won't be stopping my work until then. As a small announcement, I have decided to change my way of things and I am going to start getting myself on track. I recently finished the game Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and a line near the end of the game was "A part of being a grown up is knowing when to let go." And that hit me hard knowing I have been holding onto a lot of emotions and pain for a long time and it is time to let go and let my future start unfolding for the better.

I am going to restart a lot of things, sometime in the next month I will be starting a new youtube channel and twitch channel, to do what I love when my writing is down, I want to entertain, I want to make videos, I want to play games. Twitch will be where I enjoy myself and play games and just do stuff that doesn't feel like work, just me being me and being happy. As for youtube, I want to expand TTTK and the knowledge and the stuff with it to more than just words on paper and a screen. I want to stretch my skills out, I want to make music for the story that inspires me, I want to do more with TTTK and push it out of just the story format, and show it for what it is, a story with a lesson on life and existence. And I hope this lets me do it.

As for restarting TTTK, no, the story is not going to be redone and changed with what is already done. What has happened happened, TTTK is nearing its end of arc 3 and moving on slowly as I have began working on the final chapter of arc 3, because I want to personally expand on it and make chapters longer, fit more context and content and details in, and start building the world bigger and better than I already have. However that comes with a cost...

In the last month... a lot of TTTK will chance in a technical sense, in that I have to go back and replace three characters in the story at present. Lately my trust has been broken and I learned that Lyle, the father figure to Inferno in TTTK... Was not a real person, and was a lie made up by the creator of the character used to toy with the emotions of my father before he passed away... And that person has since been long cut from my life. As of Arc 4, TTTK is going to be replacing Joshy, Lyle and Thanatos with three new characters that myself and  chump125 are working on and developing, they will serve a similar purpose and guide the plot as needed, but we will be working on things slowly. To give an example, Lyle is going to be replaced with a character named Lumen, a resident of Sanctuary who learns of Inferno and goes to check it out himself and grow attached to Inferno. I won't say anything on the replacements of Joshy and Thanatos until they are ready, but it will put me behind a little.

Learning that the man I looked up to, and the man my own father looked to as a father figure, was a lie and a fake created by the person in question really hindered my work, my father passing away having already put me in a struggle to write as I lost a lot of interest in writing, RPing, gaming, everything... And that is why I just didn't really exist much anywhere except with my friends and family. I will continue to refrain from saying the persons name, but they know it and those involved know everything. But I am back now, and plan to start working hard to replace those characters and starts to refine TTTK.

As for requests and such, I will finish what I have on queue in my own pace, as I get my motivation back, I promise. I just need to slowly and surely work myself back into a pattern and make sure I am ready. I have been heart broken over my dads passing, I have been betrayed, and tossed around... Things have not been easy, but I am back slowly

God I haven't been active in a bit, minus small things here and there. 2021 came out swinging, and I happened to be in the line of sight because holy crap.

Lets at least start this on a high note. I am dating again, that's fun. I asked out my good friend on discord, who is also on here,  SunbroSkarin And he said yes, He is a great guy, he's wonderful and you all should go see his page because he also got a cute character.

Another good thing, This year, I plan to make a huge push on TTTK and commissions as well as trades. I want to get the story much farther along by the end of 2021, because in January of 2022, I will be moving, and going to live with two really great friends of mine in another state. When there, I plan to really make a push on TTTK outside of just writing, I have a lot planned for this story and book and I can't wait for it to start happening

I also plan to reboot my patreon when I get back into writing. There is just going to be a small hold on that for the time being, and this is where I lead into the bad news.

On Monday morning, I slipped and fell and smacked my head at my place of work, and it was a bit of a disaster that day. I was taking to the doctor to get checked and thankfully I don't have a concussion, but it really knocked the energy out of me for the moment so I have been mostly relaxing and taking things slow, being on workmans comp from my job. I plan to start working and writing again here soon after I get my energy back, but that has been fun.

And I also just have been up and down with depression again and just haven't had the drive to work because of it but I am hoping that a lot of things calm down here soon. That is really about it

Well, the funeral was today, we said out last goodbyes to Inferno and it's all said and done. Now that I have had some time to think it over, I know what I wanna do and where my head is. As painful as it is, since he was such an integral part, a few months before all of this he said to not worry about his health and to continue with Tale to the King, and use him as best I can.

From here, I plan to finish Tale to the King, and get myself slowly back into writing. But before I can do that, I want to get myself back into the mental spot to write. So for the time being, Tale to the King is on a pause until I can get my head into the spot where I can write and feel okay and ready to write for a character like that, who's creator is gone but never forgotten.

I will be focusing entirely on requests, trades and commissions for the time being, with some aid from a buddy of mine who has offered to read through and help me get myself ready to write again. So please, do not hesitate to message me if you wish to have a story made, I will gladly get one done!

Hey, I’m alive, just been having a lot of struggles for the last couple weeks but I’m getting back to it. Oh Sunday of this week I plan to get back to writing and posting, starting with the next chapter of TTTK and maybe the finale of the current arc, we will see if I get one or both done.

Heh, besides my request for Chief being posted, I sure have been a bit absent for a while haven't I? Last time I properly sat down to write was last month, May 20th to be exact. There is a reason for why I have been so quiet, and I usually don't like to put everything to light, but I feel this will help explain why I may disappear or just take long periods of time to actually post. The title being the three points I want to really cover with all of this.

The first thing being emotions, and that they play a big part in my want to do anything, writing especially. My emotional state sucks, I will put it out there. I have a very unstable, broken emotional state that will jump from mood to mood without a second to realize it is happening. This makes writing really hard for me, and heck, even some stuff like recording videos or playing games becomes impossible when I get to that point. I have tried to sit down and write the next chapter of TTTK so many times, and each time I just do not feel that motivated, or just grow tired or weary and just... stop trying. That's why I can go days or weeks without really saying or doing anything, and that can explain to some people I talk to here, why I am not around usually as I use to be. Emotionally, I just struggle.

The next part... helps explain that one, but it is a bit touchy... It is something I have fully come to terms with finally, now that it has been slowly handled.

Something people don't usually know about me... I am a victim of abuse, emotionally to that degree. I was for a while when I was a child, but it ended up becoming full force around five or six years ago... People may remember the incident a few years ago... that was only my breaking point... but there was a lot more before that. At the time, Chris did not really help it, but it was more my birth family, they were the ones that caused it. (Not Inferno, for anyone who might think to talk to him. Inferno has been nothing but a great father and caretaker for me when he took me in.). They are what caused me to become so emotionally broken that I have trouble and struggle with my emotions, and Chris's issue a couple years back caused it to really snap. I hid it from people for a while, but that day I released a journal revealing everything... It helped get me where I am now...

The process. I am still not okay, and probably won't be for years to come, unless some stroke of miracle comes out and happens to help me. I am working through it, little by little, I have explained it more in depth to my closest friends (Specifically [iconname]Champ1256[/iconname] and [iconname]ZerotheBallistical[/iconname] To of my closest, if not my best friends who have helped me through this little by little, and just supported me). Thanks to them I have been able to slowly recover and bring myself to try and be happy, knowing I won't... or try not to... let myself get into an abusive relationship again, family wise, romance wise or what have you.

Thanks to them, and thanks to all the help I was able to try and get... I am not okay, I am not alright... But I am recovering. And it has lead to a lot of good. I have been playing a part in Chris's recovery, and I am more than proud and happy to say he has gotten better, We talked, we sat and listened to one another... And now Chris and I are still friends, working through everything, I Am getting better emotionally and overcoming the issues of abuse, and Chris has been getting help to improve himself as a person and just as a friend. It still isn't perfect, but rarely things are.

Just know... I plan to write again soon, hopefully very soon. But for now know I Am just struggling, but I Am surviving. I am helping Fix a person who wants to change and improve, and he is helping me grow to be happy and power through the pain I have felt. It will take time... but that is my story, and why I have issues

Please... Do not pursue myself, Chris, Champ or Zero about this (As the last two know the most over anyone), Just give me time, and I will get better. I will write again soon, and hopefully finish this story.

Starting today I am working on a little intrigue project, to kind of get myself out of the rut I am in with writing, because I am having a hard time writing TTTK. This story takes a lot of inspiration from stuff like Metal Gear Solid and the like, and it takes place in a more modern and normal setting. I don't want to go to much into details here but I will still be working on other stuff like trades, commissions and such. But for now, this is just a little passion project to get my mind off of the things that are keeping me from writing TTTK. I hope you all enjoy it, and like my other projects, it will be uploaded once a week!

Yeah, so because of a mental breakdown that I have mostly left not talked about, I didn't do a lot of writing the last two weeks. the last two chapters posted were already on patreon during the time I was shutting down and I just uploaded one a week like I said. Unfortunately, despite my mental state steadying itself and calming down, I haven't been able to write much and be happy with it, so unfortunately I have to hold off this week on a chapter. However sometime tomorrow I am going to attempt writing In Another Realm's next chapter and try to get that up if I can get the motivation going. I also plan to edit an old overdo video to share as well so hopefully I will have some filler this week.

So I decided I am going to erase my commission journal and update some of my stuff here because I want to change some of my pricing:

$12 gets you 12-19 full fledged chapters of whatever you want
$16 gets you 19-27 chapters of a story of your choosing
$27 gets you a story of your choosing [Up to 30 Chapters] and a cameo spot in a story of your choose.

Commissions take priority over Side Stories (Happy Family, for example) But don't take priority over TTTK

Scheduling:

Due to life, even with a new laptop I am going to focus making TTTK a one a week thing for the time being, that way I can work on more (requests, side stories, Etc.) and get more done. This is a temporary thing but I just wanted to give myself a buffer while I get back into the swing of things, once that happens this will more than likely change. My goal is to post three stories a week, with random images like the ones today spread around sometimes.

Arakah's Journal/Arc 0:

The big one. Arc 0 is to put it simply, a story arc for TTTK that will give more story that can't be included into the main plot either due to timing, or something specific. This arc will purely be to explain stuff like past events like who Drax and Drazernon's father is, or why some characters are the way they are and so on. The biggest example being Bael, a character in his twenties who has little backstory, Arc 0 will explore his childhood and what led him to becoming what he is.

How I want to go about this is, I want this to not take away focus of TTTK, and so I will post this once a month, first on Patreon once a month, and then a month later, here and IB. This way I do not clutter up this place with a bunch of stuff at once, and that way I can manage what gets released so it stays relevant to a current chapter and not just a sporadic upload*

Okay so to kind of explain, my old laptop broke and so I needed a brand new one. That led to me completely disappearing without a lot to say. so... I got a new one, and I am currently getting used to it so I can start writing again. I will be posting stories again soon!
