Make the best of things!

so with the world practically in silence while things try to get better, and some of us are stuck inside for one reason or another (Mine Physical), I wanted to just say we should try as a community to make the best of it, by supporting one another, maybe not financially but we can keep each other entertained as a group.
I was talking to a friend of mine about doing some stuff with video games, try doing something in that realm.
I have a switch and PS4 if people wanna play and entertain themselves to distract from the issues in life for a little bit, but we can keep spirits high if we work to make the best of a bad situation.

Honestly, there’s just been a lot on my mind and I really should just state it upfront. I’ve been putting a lot of thought into myself as a person as well as how I feel. In simple terms, I’ve turned my mentality around and in the end, I’m done getting pushed and stepped on. In recent years and months I’ve been putting myself last and pushing to fix things, but in the end it’s really just harmed my health and mental state, and yesterday got me thinking through this to It’s fullest extent.
This doesn’t mean I’m going to give up on people or become some jaded asshole who just thinks of themselves. I’m still going to care and help people. But I think it’s better for me if I make it a second priority or lower, and put myself and my work first, and my mental health above all else. I’m still not fully back up to where I can write and record and all that, because mentally I am so damaged that it is making it really hard to do those things.
So I decided I’m taking a break, I’m going to reply to pms and comments and stuff and that’s it, I need a break for myself, I’ll still be around but I won’t be working because I just can’t right now. I’m tired, drained, and all around just tired of being this helper that’s only talked to when it suits others (not everyone does this but some people do) and I’m tired of the selective nature of how I’m treated. I can’t just be picked and chosen when it suits you, that’s not how it works. The fact I’ll go days without hearing from someone and then I turn around and hear from you but it’s something small or such then you’re gone again... it’s ridiculous.
I’m not calling names but there are quite a few like this, some work on it, some don’t, but honestly I’m so drained pushing myself to keep things together all the time when the other half only does when it suits them. It’s frustrating
Please note:
This doesn’t mean I’m mad at anyone or anything; I’m just upset at myself, because I let myself get treated this way, without setting a standard. And I’m not going to accuse anyone of it, because yes they do it but I should’ve at least pushed to not let it get to how far it got. I just need a break

Trouble but okay
Posted 5 years agoSorry for no updates in the handful of days, been super busy and sick, so juggling all that hurt. I feel better though and should have a story up soon.
Also, I’m making a new LP project of sonic forces, I’ll post a link when the time comes so hopefully tonight you’ll get to see me goof around blindly in sonic forces

The issue of TTTK Extra
Posted 5 years agoSo due to an issue I have with the uploads, unfortunately for the way Arakah's Journal is handled, I have to change how I upload that compared to the main story. In TTTK I use just a Plain Text .TXT file when I upload so it can generate the story so you don't have to download things, it is just easier that way so I can be convenient for everyone.
This doesn't work for Arakah's Journal because his journal is meant to be a look into how his sanity goes as it progresses, and so it would act like a real life journal and have removed content and stuff like that, and the plain text erases that stuff when it happens. So unfortunately TTTK Extra is going to be uploaded different and I apologize.

Hello there guys, just wanted to make a quick journal to talk about the patreon page I launched today to support Tale to the King. Basically I am just going to give a quick rundown of what I plan to do and what I hope this will accomplish down the line.
Goal:
So the goal of Tale to the King is to make it known to the point I can publish it as a physical book for people who may want a physical copy and don't want to search through every single submission just to get the full story. That is just the beginning of my plans. I plan to also start doing some minor side project related to Tale to the King called "Project: Tale". Project: Tale is a work title for now but basically I want to work on making Tale to the King an animated type of thing as well, in either the shape of videos or some other, our end goal at the moment is to make it a game to play either on Steam or something down the line, we are not entirely sure yet but that I what we are hoping for. I know it is a little out there given the story is still working and being built up but I have plans and goals and want to give people the chance to support if you think I could achieve this.
What patreon will be used for:
Essentially I will just do the typical "Post early, send later" type of deal where I will post the chapter to Patreon first, and then afterwards I will post it here and on Inkbunny a few days later, just kind of like your typical run of the mill patreon account. As is apparent by the page, there is no tiers or anything like that so one might be thinking "What's the point?", well I do have a plan for that as well. With how minor and unknown TTTK is to the public, we clearly do not have a lot we can share in terms of content to make tiers worth while, and so we have a slight work around plan for when the time comes.
We will add tiers when we get the time and money to start making concept art and other things that go with the story. The big one in mind is music because I have been working on pieces to go with parts of TTTK, and I have some friends and family working on stuff like concept art of characters, or paintings of scenery, but we aren't really ready to post that stuff yet. Another thing is voice clips, we plan to put out voice clips for characters to go along with the animation/game idea. That is also not ready yet, and so we wanted to start out basic and bare bones, just a simple pledge to get the ball rolling and as we get farther along, we will add perks for those who want to get them.
Please, do not feel inclined to pledge to the patreon, because I know this is not for everyone and not everyone wants to put their money to something so simple or just out there. Thank you for reading this and have a wonderful day!

Valentines and Indifference
Posted 5 years agoHappy valentines day to those celebrating, hope it is good for you. I wont be spending any time celebrating because I have grown indifferent to this day, especially after being dumped a week before, so that's fun. I am just gonna get to work on Arc 3 for TTTK and doing more work on other stories.

A little about me
Posted 6 years agoHeya, so I figured I'd let people know a little about who I am so here we go.
The main thing is, I love to game, and I love to game with other people. I majorly play on PS4, but also on occasion play other consoles and on steam. I am relatively decent and my main game interests are MMOs, RPGs, and shooters [I am good at Overwatch, TF2 and others, but I will openly play any.]
The next thing is, I do RP, but I am a bit of an oddball. I am very open to trying things but there is a major thing I will say, I won't do overly sexual or romantic stuff with a character who is "Taken" [for example, I will RP as my character John, but I will not do sexual stuff because he is taken by someone, and I try and keep my characters loyal.] IF you want to RP, Feel free to note me and I will gladly talk something out.
Next, I make videos and I am a streamer. No chapter 4 today
Posted 6 years agoSorry guys, I was trying to stay on a consistent one day one chapter schedule but today I just haven't been feeling up to much, so I will continue posting tomorrow most likely.
as a little note, there are over 30 chapters to upload before FA is caught up to where the other sites are with the story, so I want to make this quick so I have the story up to date everywhere.

Posted 6 years agoHey everyone, still trying to figure out everything about this site, but I wanted to share a little something about tale to the king and the chapters. so the first few chapters were written almost two years ago and so they are very unprofessional. the farther the story gets, the better and more detailed the chapters get. once we get past chapter 5 or 6 you will start seeing a change of writing because I have changed my style over time.
