back
Posted a year agoHey there! That's right, I still exist and you're still watching me!
It has been a minute and a half since I posted anything up until today, and that is a fact I am acutely aware of. If you aren't someone I talk to regularly, you might have just determined I fell off the face of the planet, which would honestly be a fair deduction. But no, I'm here, it's just taken me a lot to get here.
I don't want to get TOO traumadumpy here on FurAffinity.net, but at the same time I know I disappeared on a lot of people, so I figured at least a basic explanation is owed. In a previous journal back in 2022, I mentioned being let go from the job I had recently acquired, and unfortunately that didn't get remedied in any short amount of time. Hundreds and hundreds of applications went out, dozens of interviews, but ultimately nothing. I bounced around places for a while before finally unwillingly being dragged back to my parent's house to stay with them. It allowed me to build up savings while I continued to search for work, but at the same time I was forced to detransition against my will, a combo of factors which left me in both a physical and mental space where writing was next to impossible. So I just put my head down and did my best to escape it all.
Which, hey, I did! I got an offer a few months ago, and yesterday was coincidentally my first official day on the job. I've moved out of my parent's house, gotten my own apartment again, and thanks to that and a variety of other factors, I'm in probably the best place of my life - mentally, physically, and financially.
And that has also culminated in me finally getting to write again! It's been great getting to pick of the proverbial pen again and be productive, and I have a ton of ideas in my head that I've built up. That includes introducing new OCs, random one-off stories, and yes, finally getting back to Iris, Buffmeleon Extraordinaire.
But it also means taking commissions again! I actually accepted a lot of commissions right before things took a turn for the worst, so I do apologize for leaving so many people in the dark on that. But being aware of that possibility is part of why I never took any payment upfront, so that's all squared away. If you DID commission me and are still interested, feel free to reach out and you'll be given priority. But I am also accepting new commissions as well, so anyone who is interested is free to reach out also! Just note that since I now have a full time job again and other responsibilities to take care of, progress may be slow at times, but I feel I am in a good enough state of mind to work with consistency.
That's all. Thanks for the continued support.

STORY COMMISSIONS ARE OPEN!
Posted 3 years agoCommissions are open! Here are the rules:

- My main focus tends to be muscle and muscle-related kinks, but really, my range is very wide if you have something else in mind. That being said...
- As the writer, I reserve the write to turn down any story idea for any reason at all.
NOTE ME if you want a slot and we'll discuss ideas!

Where The Hell Have You Been?
Posted 3 years agoHey everyone! So if you haven't seen it yet, today I posted my first story since July 2021 - a nearly 9 month gap that I shudder just thinking about. Some of you may be wondering why exactly I 'disappeared' for so long, and I wanted to clear the air on that, plus what the situation will be moving forward.
If you look at the last journal I wrote in August, it details how I had finally gotten a full-time job after so much searching, and was taking time off to move for that opportunity. At the time, I fully intended to continue working on commissions and personal stories on the weekends and evenings, but once I finished moving and started working, it became clear that my new 40 hour working schedule would take some adjusting to. So I put that all on hold as the months went by, trying to do my best to settle into my new job and work up to expanding my free time later.
And then, in January of this year, they fired me.
It was unexpected and, obviously, very troubling to me. It took me a while to shake myself off from the news, get to reorganizing things and getting back on the job hunt once again. Once I had gotten myself out of the stupor, though, I realized the silver lining - all of this free time meant I could finally get back to doing what I loved.
And so, here I am. I've been writing a lot in the background - not only have I finished the story I posted today, I actually have multiple commissions completed, edited, and ready to post, so you should be seeing a flurry of activity from me in the upcoming days. If you are someone I promised a story last year, I've either contacted you already or will contact you shortly as I finish working through my queue.
Honestly, being able to write creatively full time is something I've dreamed of for a long time, so I'm actually fulfilling that dream at the moment, if only in a sideways manner. I'm not exactly sure what the future holds for me long-term, but I plan to give it my all - I'll be opening up for commissions again after I finish my current queue, which shouldn't be too long from now, so if you're interested, stay tuned!
Even if you 'just' watch and read my stories, your support means everything to me, and I thank you so much for continuing to follow along with me on this journey. I can't wait to share more with you, and I hope you have an absolutely lovely day. 💖

Moving
Posted 4 years agoFigured I should give you guys a journal to update you on things (and make it so the old commission journal isn't showing, since I'm technically closed right now, haha).
Basically, I got a job! Very excited to finally get my career started, but it does require me to move halfway across the country. In essence, any writing will be on hiatus for a few weeks while I move and get settled in, but after that I should be right back in it! Thanks everyone for your patience!

Commissions Opening TUESDAY!
Posted 5 years agoHey everyone! Dang, it's been FOREVER since I wrote one of these, hasn't it? Well, my life has been pretty wild these past few years, but as you can see with my last posted story, I'm back in the writing chair again! And that means I'm looking to take on commissions again. I'm giving myself a few days to rest and kick back, but on TUESDAY, AUGUST 18TH, I'll be opening up my queue for story commissions! Here are some basic rules and guidelines:
- MY RATE IS 1 CENT PER WORD - meaning 1000 words = $10
- My main focus tends to be muscle and muscle-related kinks, but really, my range is very wide if you have something else in mind. That being said...
- As the writer, I reserve the write to turn down any story idea for any reason at all.
And that's pretty much it, nothing too fancy. I'll post another journal on Tuesday when I open up. Take care!

More Writing?!
Posted 10 years agoBeen doing a bit more writing over on writing.com, in case anyone wanted to check it out. Here's a list of what I've done lately:
http://www.writing.com/main/view_it...../user_id/flare
It's a bit easier over on that site because I just write little chapters rather than full-length stories at a time, so it feels like less of a burden. I DO intend to write more stuff for FA soon, though, so look out for that, and thank you all for watching. :)

The Return of... Well, Me, I Suppose
Posted 11 years agoHey guys! So, as you may have seen, I just put out another story today. I checked my gallery afterwards, and it was hard to believe it had been almost THREE YEARS since I had done that. It really made me realize how much it's seemed to that I've... kind of disappeared. In reality, though, that hasn't exactly been the case. I've been lurking here pretty constantly over the past couple of years, occasionally favoriting or commenting on stuff that I like. So, I've really been here the whole time, just not very visible.
Other than that, the question is simply whether or not I'll be posting stories more often from now on. Well, I'd definitely like to, but I can't really promise anything. My latest story ended up coming right near the end of a period with a lot of free time, and things are going to get a lot more busy around here pretty soon. Because of that, I can't really be sure of my story output potential. I will do my best to make as many stories as possible, and of course, favoriting and commenting on my existing stories (especially my latest one) will definitely give me a lot of drive and hopefully constructive feedback. With that said, thanks for reading, and hopefully you'll be seeing me around more often. :)

Macro Games!
Posted 13 years agoWell, I've entered Tyrone into an event called the Macro Games, which should be filled with fighting, action, and of course, growing. He's a late entry, so I'll need all the votes I can get! Head on over to the journal to vote and stayed tuned!
VOTE HERE - http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/3157274/
... Wait, wasn't there something else? Oh yeah, that "writing" thing I apparently do. I'm really sorry to everyone who's been looking forward to future stories, but I've been busy with a lot of stuff lately. I PROMISE I'll have a story up by the end of the month, though :3

Comment here and I will...

2. Tell you which color you remind me of.
3. Tell you my first memory of you.
4. Tell you what Pokemon you remind me of. ( I might use something else too, in case I can't think of anything, but oh well~ )
5. Ask you something I've always wondered about you.
6. Tell you my favorite thing about you.
7. Give you a weird nickname.
8. Tell you what's on my shirt right now.
9. Challenge you to post this on your journal.

Chatting
Posted 14 years agoYou know, I feel like I don't really talk to that many people on here, something which I should really do. So, yeah, if you'd like someone to talk to, just note me or add me on Yahoo Messenger, which can be found on my page.
And just a reminder, I'm open for story commissions, which you can find out about here:

COMMISSIONS OPEN
Posted 14 years agoOK, yeah, I'm kind of making this official: I'm accepting commissions now. Here are a few guidelines:
- I prefer muscle/muscle growth stories, but can easily go into other stuff if you want me too, I just won't guarantee quality.
- Price will be discussed after the story is complete, since stories are hard to judge at the beginning.
- I have a bit of weird thing with receiving money for commissions. Due to other circumstances, I cannot except money through Paypal or other services. What I will do, however, is this. After we discuss what price I'll be paid for the story, you keep the money with you. However, I will be using the money on a commission. After I've set up the commission with the person who will be drawing it, I'll set up having the money transferred between the two of you.
And... that's it. I'm simple, aren't I? :P
Just comment or note me if you're interested. See ya later!

Treadmill
Posted 14 years agoI am starting to use the treadmill as often as I can, you know, to get in shape. Tonight was the first night I used it, and I went for about a half hour. I'm tired, but proud of myself :)

Snow, Halloween and Requests
Posted 14 years agoAlright, looks like I actually have some stuff to talk about today. Hooray!
First off, SNOOOOOOOOOOOW. Yep, despite it still being October, it's snowing up here in New England. And this stuff's coming down HARD. My mom and I almost got stuck on the way home because a tree had fallen onto the road due to all the snow on it. There's also reports of a lot of power outages up here. Nothing happened to me yet, but be warned that my power may go out at any time.
Next, Halloween's coming up on Monday, and I'm somewhat excited for some reason. I'll be going as Ghostface from the Scream movies, which I love :)
Finally, though it technically has been going on since the day I got here, I'm currently taking requests. Just comment below or note me if you're interested in some muscle growthy action or something else within my range.
See ya soon!

Rock You Like A Hurricane (Irene)
Posted 14 years agoSo, yeah, just updating on things for the time being.
First off, Irene passed over us about a week ago. Luckily, no major damage was done to the house besides some trees falling down that didn't really do anything. We got power back in 3-4 days, so that was good.
Next, MOUTH PAIN AGGGGGH. Yesterday my mouth started hurting for no apparent reason, and I noticed the left side of my gum is more swollen than the other side. Just have to hope it's not an infection.
Finally, school starts tomorrow. On one hand, I'm kind of glad to go so I can stop feeling like I'm not doing anything, but on the other hand IT'S SCHOOL.
Oh yeah, and I'm writing a new story, so look out for that ;).
See ya later!

Q&A Journal!
Posted 14 years agoSo, I decided to learn more about my characters, and I figured this is the best way to do it. Just ask any question about anyone of my characters and I'll do my best to answer it as well as I can. Well then, let's start!

Huh, companies do have hearts.
Posted 14 years agoFirst off, tonight I did a comedic monologue at my camp's talent show. NAILED IT.
Second, today I got a call from my sister with some awesome news. A while ago the Sims 3 game I shared with my siblings broke. EA let's you get a replacement for it though. So for months my family called and e-mailed EA a billion times, always getting the usual corporate response. However, yesterday we finally got in touch with EA. They were so amazed at our persistence that not only did they replace our Sims 3, they gave us every expansion pack for the Sims 3 AND Dark Spore. I'm driving all the way to Indianapolis after I leave camp tomorrow, so that should help the ride.
Speaking of which, that long ride also means a lot of time for stories. Right now I have SEVEN, yes, SEVEN ideas floating around in my head, ranging from just a basic concept to basically having every word mapped out. I'm not sure when I'll be able to upload them, but expect a lot from me soon.

Camp
Posted 14 years agoSo, tomorrow I'm leaving for camp, which will take a while. I won't have Internet, so I won't be able to do anyhting until early-mid July. However, I'll be sure to make up for my recent lack of stories when I get back.
SHAMELESS PLUGGING TIME!!!
Posted 14 years agoAlright, so anyone watching me probably noticed that I haven't really been posting anything lately. However, I have a lot of ideas floating around and summer is almost here, so I'll probably start posting more stories.
Also, I have been doing some writing lately, on a site called, well, writing.com. There are a lot of different types of stories to do, but my favorites are Interactives. Interactives are basically Choose Your Own Adventure stories. You write a chapter and then post a few options for the next chapter. Then someone can write one of those chapters and the cycle continues. I have a few stories on there, and here they are:
Fox Muscle - http://www.writing.com/main/interac.....188-Fox-Muscle
This one is about a 16 year old fox named Jack. He receives a rock in the mail which allows him to grow his muscles. There are already a bunch of different scenarios in place that are fun to write.
Tiger God - http://www.writing.com/main/interac.....3316-Tiger-God
This one is about a 13 year old tiger named Hunter. He lives with his EVIL stepfather because his parents died when he was young. However, he finds out that his parents are actually gods and that he has the power to do whatever he wants. This story isn't strictly muscle growth due to Hunter's infinite power, but it's still a focus.
Orb of Strength - http://www.writing.com/main/interac.....rb-of-strength
This one isn't my story, but I still love to add to it. You can choose from a variety of species as they grow due to a mysterious orb. I think being able to pick your species is pretty fun and that's why I like to add to it.
If you feel like writing but don't have an idea for a full story, feel free to check these out!
To close out, the world didn't end yesterday. The good news is, well, the world didn't end. The bad news is that means I have to take finals tomorrow :(. See you soon!
