This week is the final week I'll be taking commissions for a while. I need money until I get paid. I started a job at a factory and don't have a whole lot of time for drawing anymore.

I'm going to reopen commissions once I get acquainted with my work new work schedule, but it could be a while.

I know I haven't posted anything in a while, and there is good reason for that. I don't think I should say what's going on right now, but know that I'm well, if not a little sad... But there is something good on the horizon. More info when I feel it's a good time to release details.

My COVID test was negative, but I'm still coughing up a lung. I'm feeling better, however I'm still dealing with fatigue. As soon as I shake that and this damned cough, I'll be right as rain.

No idea what I have, might have to get a COVID test. Going to do a virtual appointment with my doctor later today, hopefully that'll give me more insight into what I have. If it is COVID, don't worry, I'm vaccinated and boosted.

I just found out that I won't be able to get my tax refund until the middle of February or later. I was really counting on that money...

Yup, I need glasses, though I won't have to wear them all the time. I have astigmatism in both eyes. It's not a very strong prescription as I have 20/20 vision, it's just for when I'm on the computer and when I'm driving at night. The glare gets me bad.

Today is my 38th birthday. I'm old lol. I'm looking forward to cake and ice cream later.

This is going to be another busy month, I can feel. My driver's license expires this month, and of course my storage unit payment is due at the end of the month. So my test results came back as negative, so I don't have COVID thank Goodness. I do however have bronchitis, so two weeks of this. Better bronchitis than COVID.

I'm sick with what I assume is bronchitis, but the Nurse Practitioner I talked to wanted me to get tested for COVID. I don't think I have COVID, but I figure it would be best to know for sure so I don't get anyone else sick. I am fully vaccinated, and I just got my booster shot over a week ago. Please send good healing vibes my way!

I should know the results tonight or tomorrow morning.

Well November was a whirlwind! I had to take a couple friends to the airport then pick them up a week later, the day before Thanksgiving, that is! Thanksgiving came and went, and I got to see Ghostbusters Afterlife! (Thanks, Mom) I highly recommend it, if you have a chance to go see it.

I need to get some money together to buy Christmas gifts for my family. I have an idea what I'm going to get everyone, but I need to money to buy it all. It's that magical time of year when the state of Illinois takes $151 of my dollars so that I'm allowed to continue to drive my car. $151 for a little sticker. In addition to this, my monthly storage unit payment will be due next month as well, so I need a total of $206. $10 sketches will go until the end of October, so get 'em now while they're hot! All other commission types are open as well. In the future I want to upgrade my drawing tablet to one with a screen.

I was trying for a job at a farm equipment manufacturer, but I didn't get it. I'm pretty upset that I didn't because that would have opened up a lot of doors for me. C'est la vie, I guess. I might go back to my old job at Staples... I guess some income is better than no income.
