Daxel's First Mini-Concert!

Join me over at Youtube.com/DaxelTheDeer as I perform my first little concert live, recorded on VRChat! It will be at 7 PM CT / 8 PM ET and last about an hour or so! I'll be talking about what I love about these musicals, how these songs speak to me, and giving them the ol' college try at live covers.

Life Update!
Posted 10 years agoJust a quick pop in to say that life is going pretty good! Went on a couple vacations with my family and my mate's family, to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and a cruise to the Bahamas on Carnival. :3

Hello! It's been forever. TIME FOR A LIFE UPDATE! :D
Posted 11 years agoI just wanted to post a general journal and give updates about life, love, friendship, and everything else. I feel like I haven't done that in a while and I want to make s'more friends. ^_^
As far as the going-ons, I mainly work during the weekends now that it's Fall and sporting events at Auburn University where I work are starting up again. I've enjoyed watching the games with friends in the past years and this year has been pretty great so far as well. Can't wait for the away Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Georgia, and Alabama games. Tough schedule! The new staff at War Eagle Productions is fantastic and they seem to really trust/like me, so I've got a good workload assigned to me, which is everything in the sports production industry.
It's been fun getting to get back into gaming so much, as well as being able to do so with janie, my fiancée. We've been playing Destiny, Hyrule Warriors, Guild Wars 2, just completed Borderlands 2, and other games here and there. I'm also kicking GamingFurever.com into gear with some new staff members and a fresh take on how we operate and deliver fun and news to this community.
Still living in Auburn, enjoying work here while Janie is now back in college. Living with my brother and his girlfriend, and it's going alright so far. :3
Oh and my new husky puppy is growing up fast! Jax is 5 months old now and the biggest derp ever. He and Kylee, Janie's blue heeler, get along well...if he'd stop nagging her ear. X3 It's been an absolute joy getting to watch him grow and learn. Can't wait to continue teaching him new things.
The next few months will be all about working, doing fursuit work for alphasuits, quality time with Janie, gaming, and helping grow Gaming Furever. Oh, and making new friends and reigniting old ones! Work continues on Alpha Suits FIRST FURSUIT! :D
Posted 11 years agoMy mate and I have been hard at work trying to get our first full fursuit commission done before Megaplex next weekend.
We've got the bodysuit done, the footpaws nearly complete, and she'll be tackling the tail and handpaws while I continue work on the head.

Posted 11 years agoIf you're looking for a place to live in Auburn, I'm moving out of my current place and I'm looking for a replacement roomie to stay with another friendly fur of mine that has taken the other spot in the condo.
The rental period would last from August 1st, 2014 to ideally July 31st, 2015...but that is negotiable if need be, and can be potentially longer if things work out.
The rent is $425 + Electricity (about $50 a month) + Internet (about $15 a month).
The Condo is on East Glenn Ave just a few blocks from Toomer's Corner. Walking distance from campus, 2br/2ba, covered balcony, interior entrance, stainless steel appliances, hardwoods in main living areas. Private room/Private bath. Water and trash pickup are included.

Posted 11 years agoJanie and I have acquired the materials and everything we would need to work on our own fursuits and fursuit parts. We're going to toss our hat in the ring and see how things work out!
Right now, we're still in the early process. We're going to try carving out a head today. :3
