Hey, sorry for no new pages this week. I was busy wrapping up Art Fight and I had ran out of pages I had been making in advance all spring and summer.

You might have noticed that I managed to upload one page a week since April, which is a lot more frequent compared the last few years starting in 2020.
I plan on keeping up this pace with one page weekly uploads up to a certain date. During this spring/summer, I had managed to make 3 pages a week, hence my backlog.
I'm unsure if I'll continue making 3 a week, but I plan on making as much as i can every week and uploading them on patreon as they're finished (hance the backlog I was able to rely on up until now)

I'll post them everywhere else one page a week until the middle of October because...

6 Months already. I should do update journals more often.

Thank you everyone who commented when I brought up my dad's passing back in December. With our dog, Theodore, dying literally 8 days after he did, it was a very rough month.

We had a memorial service at our church and there was surprising amount of people that showed up and we got to reconnect with some family members. Before that we had him cremated and he's in an urn now. so in a sense he's back home, as well as Theodore.

I've been trying hard to make sure I still create things despite all this. Thanks for bearing with me. I'll post plans for the comic on a later date.

Friday morning my dad has passed due to septic shock on Wednesday right before he was finally able to get dialysis. He's had a lot of health complications since 2006, but he had a great last year after we moved out of a horrible family situation. I'm glad he at least got that.

I was visiting him in ICU the night before, and in his confused state, he still identified me as "that's my eldest boy"
I'm not even his biological son either, but I've called him dad for my entire life that I can remember

I can't really tell what I'm feeling right now. But I want to keep on creating. I might be slower for a while, but you will see more from me. Make no mistake of that.

It's been a while since I've given any kind of update. The past few months have been up and down a bit. Near the end of June I had entered a Game Jam and I ended up having a bit of a mental break down and had to drop out of the project.

Throughout my entire life I've just had a crippling amount of self doubt and a lack of confidence in anything that isn't drawing. I legitimately believe that I am stupid, as I sometimes frustrate people with my slowness in understanding things. This is a perception of myself that I've become tired of having. So I've come to the conclusion that I need to seek therapy.

As for art, I'm trying to get out of a few funks I've been going through due to other things happening after the breakdown. I'm generally hanging in there and even trying new things to better my art, but it has admittedly distracted me from the art I need to be working on. I'm still looking forward to working on Lubo and will hopefully get back in the swing of things soon

---LUBO UPDATE---
Much like the issue I had with Chapter 20, I'm having a lot of trouble with thinking exactly what I want for Chapter 23's cover to have on it, as well as what to even title it.

So I'm going to do the same for this what I did for chapter 20. I'll be taking a (hopefully) short upload hiatus for the comic. I'll still be MAKING the pages in the meantime, so when I finally figure out the what I want for the cover, there'll already some pages already completed!

Those that are supporting me on Patron will once again still get to see these pages early, regardless of cover completion. Going to work on the first page very soon.

Sorry for the wait, I'm still very much eager to show my story!

---LIFE UPDATE---
Last week I went up to my aunt's new house in Longview, Washington to help her and her roommate fix up the place to prepare for them taking care of two kids they're taking in (the kids haven't had the best time lately). I'll be staying here until basically the end of August, helping out with watching the kids.

My aunt and I will basically be taking turns so we can both work on our own stuff, so I'll still be able to draw this month. Her roommate just became a principal at a school, so she'll be WAY too busy for the kids, if you were wondering about her. It's surprising how much work a principal needs to get done during summer break.

Sorry I haven't made an update in a while. Things have been a bit hectic that I haven't gotten a chance to type out a journal.

But things are much much better. My grandma is able to move around pretty well and can manage on her own for the most part, so I've been less distracted with that. There's a lot of physical therapists coming over to see her weekly, which isn't bad, but it's a very interesting change in the house.

As for my boyfriend,  wolfieydargon, he's managed to find a new place to live in and he just moved in last week. He and his mom managed to get help from a local church so there was no worry about moving funds. There are some things he needs to get used to there, but the situation has stabilized now.

For those unaware, my boyfriend,  wolfieydargon, found out about a week ago that the lease to his apartment has been terminated without explanation and he'll have to move out by January 7th. I've been trying to help him figure out what to do about that because he has a crippled relative that he lives with and it will make the actual moving process more complicated as they don't have a car or drivers license.

We've found a few promising places, but they're likely going to ask for some additional payments in advance. There's also a moving company that charges 220 +100 more per hour. The donations will help out in whatever additional things he'll have to pay for.

I'll be using my commission money to help out as well, so you can order something from me instead of just donating.

Sorry for the lack of Lubo pages. This month has been a bit rough.

Earlier this month, my already crippled grandma fell out of her bed and had to be taken away by the paramedics. She's recovering by now, but we've been having to adjust to new things around the house after the incident. I'm one of the few people who's available to help her move from her bed to the bathroom, which is something that happens randomly every few hours, including when I'm in bed. It's been a bit difficult to get into the momentum for actual drawing because of that, but I'm slowly getting used to it.

Whatever time I do get working on Lubo has been spent trying to catch up on "inktober", so the comic pages will resume once that's done. Sorry to keep you guys waiting. Trust me, I'm just as (if not more) eager for more pages as you are.

For my new comic style, I want to have more random people in the background sometimes for whenever characters are outdoors in the town and possibly other cases. So I wanna make a collection of characters to use whenever I need. The outfits won't exactly be set. I'll most likely make something up on the spot to fit the setting.

I'll make an attempt to give everyone an opportunity to have a character show up, so don't be shy. I'll need various species, ages and genders. But the species list is somewhat limited, so keep that in mind.

Types of species that can be Fugaians:
Mammal, Bird, Reptile (not snake), Amphibian, Dinosaur or Dragon.

Sorry it's taking longer than I wanted it to. I'm still trying to work out the new town design and other background details.

I was also distracted a bit with finals and also a family member with some health issues, as well as helping to maintain the house.

I finally got Chapter 20's cover done, as you can see.
So now I can start uploading pages. I'll be uploading page every other day.

The outline for chapter 20 is still being worked out and as a result, I can't make a final decision as to what the chapter cover should look like, or even what to title the chapter. There's also a few color choices I need to consider that I can't go into at the moment.

I don't want anything else in the story uploaded until the cover is finalized. So I'll be doing the actual pages in the chapter that are already scripted ahead of time.

Okay so I'm probably going to need a bunch of extras for my comic. So another cameo opportunity has come!

Any gender is acceptable. There are a few exceptions to specific species, but they can be a Mammal, Bird, Reptile, Amphibian, Dinosaur or Dragon.

This time the roles will be for random police officers and thieves. There are a few restrictions to note.
