Hey guys! Just letting you all know I'm back from holidays. Had a ton of stuff to do last week so I didn't manage to get much work done, but everything's back to normal now. Everything on my list right now will be finished before the end of January, and I'll be sending out a bunch of things before the end of the week. Sorry for keeping you all waiting!

Contacting for a Commission

When trying to contact me, please send me a note via furaffinity. If that is not possible for any reason, you can reach me on telegram under the username Snowkitt or via email at mj_737@hotmail.com. I don't check emails very often so if you're contacting me in that way, it's a good idea to let me know here or on telegram to speed up the process. Please include in a single message all details of the commission, including links to reference images. once I've confirmed that I'll accept the commission you may request changes to the brief however it is entirely down to my discretion whether or not I accept those changes, so please ensure that your first description is as accurate as possible.

For most commissions, I only send out WiP sketches if it's for a shaded image. For flat-colour commissions, I do not typically send out WiP images unless specifically requested.

Payment

All payment must be done via Paypal. For shaded commissions, payment is required after I send you the first sketch. For flat-colour commissions, payment is required in advance.
Please make sure you have the money available before you request a commission.


Sharing, Modifying and Ownership

Unless we negotiate alternatives beforehand, I retain ownership of all commissioned works I produce.

The commissioner is free to upload or modify the images they commission. I actively encourage people to share the pictures that I upload here. I only ask the following
- Credit is provided where possible by linking to this account on Furaffinity
- You do not try to claim that you created the image
- You do not try to sell the images, either on their own or printed onto a product, without prior expressed consent from me
- You do not use the images to promote anything without prior expressed consent

If you, as a commissioner, want to control how your image is used, you have two options. I can keep the images private, not uploading them myself and only sending you the hi-res file. I can also provide a watermarked version. There may be additional costs involved (I rely on uploading commissions as advertising, so I may charge up to 10% more). This would not exempt you from the rules above, but it will allow you to prevent the image from being shared. Alternatively, if you would like to own the image/images with full rights, which will allow you to use the image with no restrictions, we can negotiate a contract separate to these rules. This will cost more, and a quote will be provided when all the details are received. You must tell me you want a private commission immediately when requesting the commission.

Refunds, Complaints and Redraws

If, upon receiving the image, you are not happy with the quality, please tell me straight away. If what I drew does not match the brief you provided, I will redraw it until it does. If you want a change, but did not let me know about it before the image was completed, I will usually offer to redraw it for an additional fee. If you have any complaints about anything in the commissioning process, please tell me, I take things like that very seriously

The only circumstance in which I will offer a refund is if I'm unable to give you your image within a reasonable amount of time. When you commission me I will give you an estimate of when I believe it will be completed. If I exceed that date by over a month, you're entitled to ask for your money back. (I'm proud to say this hasn't happened to me in the two years since I started drawing full-time)

I haven't been able to post much rule 34 content recently, which sucks. I had a great Nick Wilde Halloween idea that I ended up passing on because sadly, that sort of stuff doesn't pay the bills. I'm not in a dire state financially or anything but I do have to make cutbacks, and spending time drawing Ratchet or Sly Cooper when I could be doing commission work is effectively an expense on my part, and I can't always afford it. This sucks, since franchise characters like those have been some of my most popular pictures in the past.

So here's my idea: I have a Patreon based solely around the R34 side of my art. Every month I'll do X number of pictures based on total contribution, distributed to backers one week before they're posted here (Naturally, I have no intention of gating off content completely, my furry work will always be available free, nor do I intend to spam your submission messages with cropped pics asking you to go to Patreon).

How will I decide on what to draw? That will be totally up to you! All backers will be able to access a poll to vote on the next picture. Myself and higher tier backers will choose what options go into that poll, but you can expect the more popular characters to make regular appearances there.

So that's the basic framework of my idea. Exactly how everything will be implemented, I'm not sure yet - but I plan on consulting you guys every step of the way. The only reason I can draw full-time is because of my wonderful watchers, and I'm lucky to have you, so every little bit of feedback will be appreciated!

Might make this a regular thing - I want to know what you all think of my pics, specifically what I can improve on! Since I'm taking a break from sketches, I'd like to know how I can work on my full-colour pictures, so any critiques on the following pics would be very much appreciated!

I always want to improve my pics, particularly the way I draw characters (my background art needs a TON of work, I already know that). I'm struggling to work out what I should work on next. So I wanna hear what my lovely furry watchers think! Is there anything that seems "off"? Something that really could use more work? Something about my style that just doesn't do it for you? I wanna hear opinions, don't worry about hurting my feelings (I'll only cry a little bit, and I'll do it quietly c:).

Everything's going wrong T-T.

Had a ton of computer issues, a major case of failing to draw well, and general emoness.

Computer's running okay now, but I'm a few days behind my schedule so I want to keep everyone up-to-date on progress. If you've paid me for a commission, sketch or full colour, it'll be done by the end next week. I won't be taking anything new on until then. I know it's hardly the biggest delay ever but I always feel terrible about keeping people waiting.

(EDIT: I may have spoken too soon, dropbox is fucked. Re-installing didn't work, if I can't fix it I'll have to find some other way to send pics)

Just 9 months after I hit 4000, I've hit the next big milestone :3. Thank all of you so much! I really wanted to hit this by the end of the year and it's not even September yet. I just want to let all of you know how massively I appreciate the support you've all given me. The watches, the favourite and particularly the wonderful comments on all my pics. And the people who have gone out of their way to share my stuff on places like e621 and tumblr, you are amazing (at least the ones who credit me properly x3)!!

I did have something fun planned for this that you guys can get involved in, it's going to have to wait just a little longer though since finances are really tight and I need to focus on paid commissions. I'll get on it as soon as possible though.

I decided to throw this out there in case anyone was interested :3. I've signed up for Ko-fi.com, it's a site where you can send creators small donations - about the price of a coffee, just to show your support. No pressure whatsoever, I don't expect anyone to give me something for nothing. But if you're feeling generous, and you like my art (particularly the Rule-34 stuff that I don't get paid for) the option is there!

I currently make enough from commissions to pay for my living expenses, but saving for anything is extremely slow. I'd love to upgrade my computer so I can start streaming for you guys.
