Born to an upper middle class family in Presidio Heights, Arya lived her first years and attending both pre-school and elementary school in the Presidio area. Born into a family of police officers, with her father being the Deputy Chief of Police for the San Francisco area and her mother being a Captain with the Northern Station in the Metro Division. From an early age, Arya became fascinated with police work and she would often accommodate her father (or mother) to work when she had free from school. This interest would fade away during her teen years and it wasn’t until her mother was killed on duty that she would return and eventually become a police officer.
Arya attended the local elementary school and discovered that she was a quick learner. Throughout her first five years, she would rise to the top of her class and develop a keen interest in both literature and learning. It wasn’t uncommon for her to spend some of her spare time reading books and watching documentaries on the television. She developed an interest for politics, but she wouldn’t indulge her interest before she was in High School. Throughout her elementary school career, Arya had a hard time making friends and was often bullied and harassed for her glasses and for her early development (puberty). During her fifth year at Elementary school she met Sophie, a fellow “nerd” who had newly moved there from Los Angeles, and a friendship were quickly established. Arya and Sophie would be inseparable and lucky for them; they would attend the same Middle and High school.
As Arya came from a somewhat affluent family, she chose to attend the local Presidio Academy, a combined middle and high school. It was during these years that Arya developed both her interest in politics and her interest in boys, as puberty most often does. However, as many find themselves questioning their sexuality so did Arya, and during her second year of high school she and Sophie became girlfriends. This came as a shock to her conservative father and created tension between them, a tension that never fully recovered. During her high school years, Arya would also excel in her curriculum and many of her teachers would often site her as the perfect Ivy League candidate. But that was not what Arya was most proud of. Her social life, which had been quite limited during her years in elementary school, finally took off and she began to hang out with fellow students and teenagers more and more. And as her relationship with her father deteriorated, she used these moments to the fullest extend. It was also during this time she developed her taste in music, exploring both clubs and festivals with friends.
Arya graduated from the academy as one of the top 10s of her class and with her acceptance letter from the University of California, Los Angeles well secured, Arya set forth for a major in political science. Sophie had drafted herself into the military and after a futile attempt at a long distance relationship; they broke it off just three months into Arya´s freshman year at college. This presented itself with a major setback for Arya and she struggled with her studies as a result of that. After four weeks, she began dating a sociology student named Matthew, but this relationship didn’t bear any fruits.
During her fourth year at College, Arya´s mother was shot and killed while participating in a major drug bust in central San Francisco, an event that broke Arya completely. She discontinued her studies, mostly due to the lack of interest in the subject all together and returned to SF, trying to piece together her future. It would take six months of counseling and mindful training before Arya decided to take her mother´s position and become a police officer. She enrolled in the San Francisco Police Academy, passing the physical requirements with flying colors. After undergoing their psychological testing and motivational reason behind her application, Arya was finally accepted and started her training that same august.
Arya graduated her course at the San Francisco Police Academy just one year later, but were unable to find any job openings in the area. She decided to continue her search and return to Los Angeles, both because she found the city to be more to her liking, and to get away from the heavy burden San Francisco laid upon her following her mothers death. She was accepted and joined the ranks of the Los Angeles Police Department just 22 years old and has since then been working for the institution, hoping that one day she can specialize and become a detective.

His mother was a devout Christian and thought that by giving her son a name inspired by the great founder of the Roman church Lucius of Cyrene, her son would be destined for greatness and divinity.

The first is a shortened version of his name (Luz) and the second is a nickname given to him while he lived on the streets (Luzio).

Lucius killed his first man when he was 17 and administered (not participated) in his first large-scale heist when he was 21. He quickly shot through the ranks of the syndicate and by his 23rd birthday, he oversaw most of the operation in the downtown areas of Rome, all the way up to the Vatican City.
During his earlier years with the syndicate, around his 19th birthday, Lucius came into contact with a young girl, around 18 years of age, working as a waitress at Trevi Bistro just adjacent to the famous fountain Rome is known for. This was a high-end bistro and catered to many of Lucius´s colleagues, both those higher in the chain of command and to the many street rookies in the area. He quickly found her to his liking and what started out as a small flirt quickly escalated into a full-blown romance. Lucius would often end his hours at the bistro just so he could spend time with her when she got off work. Unknowing of his deeper involvement with the syndicate, Emma (the girls name) wanted to explore what their relationship had to offer. They continued to date and casually hang out, keeping it a secret from his syndicate colleagues. After nine months of dating, Emma fell pregnant with a daughter, much thanks to a bottle of wine during one of their usual “Thursday movie nights”. Emma soon gave birth to a daughter and they chose to give her the name Valentina.
It now became increasingly harder for Lucius and Emma to hide their relationship and on Valentina´s first birthday, Lucius finally told his boss about their affair. To his surprise, the boss reacted rather kindly to the entire ordeal and said that as long as she remained safe, there should be no problem.
One September night, as Emma was getting ready to close down the bistro for the night, she came into an argument with one of the local mob-bosses, a member from one of the rivaling syndicates to that in which Lucius worked for. Recognizing Emma as the girlfriend of the guy responsible for the robbery of one of their larger banks in central Rome, the mob-boss drew a pistol and shot her square in the chest, puncturing her heart, killing her instantly. The news of his girlfriends murder quickly reached Lucius and he rushed to see it for himself. He knew that Valentina was safe with her babysitter back home. The murder of his girlfriend spiraled Lucius into a depression, in which his only solace (according to himself) was his daughter, who was now four year old and attending one of the more expensive private kindergartens in central Rome. Continuing in his path with the syndicate, Lucius now turned more towards drinking and partying. Yet despite this, he remained a good father for Valentina and would always make arrangements for her not to see him either drunk or with another woman.
