Posted 6 days agoAfter how much fun I was having drawing characters on the ArtF*ck event, having one of the participants ask me to delete the art I drew for them only because they found some other stuff I've drawn before that they dislike, it's demoralizing.
I had so much fun working on the piece I made for them, as I got to test some new stuff, so it was very disappointing when suddenly they changed like a switch from loving my art to finding me disgusting just because of some silly pixels on a screen that I've drawn before.
So I don't even have any motivation to keep working on more ArtF*ck stuff. I was really liking the one I was working on currently, and now it feels like I don't deserve to finish it.
And yeah, legally I don't even have to delete it, because I didn't break any rule of the event, and I didn't draw anything the person doesn't allow. But I would rather avoid any drama, so I will still comply.
But man, being treated like that for something so mundane like a drawing... feels bad

[Closed] Watchers doodles wing-it marathon!
Posted 7 months agoI've accumulated Watchers milestones on several sites over the last few months, but I couldn't do raffles because this year started pretty rough. So I wanna compensate by drawing for as many people as I can for one day or two before I go back to work on commissions.
They will be wing-it doodles so I won't show progress for feedback.

To participate, you have to be a Watcher, and comment with the character, and a prompt of what you'd like to be drawn; if you don't give a prompt, you give me creative freedom.
Only one character per person, though I may accept two characters if they are simple enough.
There will be no background, though a few props and objects are allowed.
For NSFW prompts, I will not draw:
Dark themes
Body waste (piss, scat, etc.).
Gore/guro.
Death.
Vore of any kind.

Update on what has happened

It has been making news all around so you may know by now, but the president still won again. Despite almost the entire country going against him, he somehow managed to cheat his way to winning the elections, and of course, people are not happy about such an obvious lie.
There are protests and vandalism all over the country, so we are just an inch away from a full coup war, so we are not quite safe yet, but at least I live in a place really far from that so we haven't been affected here yet, so we are okay at home so far, but I still don't rule out that they may cut the electricity and internet to avoid coordination of more protests.
For now, I'll continue making arts and posting like normal, and I'll keep giving updates if something happens.

Important info: Possible war?
Posted a year agoI wish I didn't have to talk about this but I better mention it just in case. It's no secret Venezuela is a trainwreck of a country and now it seems people have finally had enough, and the president noticed. Not long ago they even made a drill of the elections, a simulation, where he lost, and he is not happy about it, nor is his council. Now he has been threatening that he will not get out of the presidency, even if "blood run down on the streets"... needless to say, he has finally become a full-on dictator threatening to start a war against the opposition if he loses the elections.
We can't know if his threats are serious or if he's just bluffing so people vote for him out of fear, but paranoia is starting to fill the country, and people are starting to prepare their war bunkers at home. I don't know what may happen, but even if no war happens, it is still possible that they take down the electricity and/or the internet so people can't talk on social media, so I don't know if I'll still be around when it happens. So if after a week from now, I suddenly disappear... that's why. If nothing major happens and we get out of this unscathed, I'll be back as always. Until then... wish me luck

Gallery purge by new Community Guidelines
Posted 2 years agoI haven't talked about the community guidelines thing because there is nothing I can say that hasn't been said already, and everyone knows about the whole thing already.
I was just waiting until they attacked my gallery to decide what I was gonna do... and the time has come...
After they told me that they weren't even gonna bother checking all my gallery on their own so I had to send a list of submissions that I had any doubts about.
Well, I sent more than 20 arts for them to review because I know my art style is often kinda chibi. I basically just sent them anything that had at least just eyes too big.
And what do you think happened...? They of course told me to remove all of them.
I mean, I can somewhat understand they taking down the arts with Zoria, Emolga, and Mew, as I drew them mostly as they originally look, and people with no brains could argue that they have cub features, but are you seriously telling me that you think the plug monsters from Deltarune looks anything like a cub!?

Regarding my disabled Discord account

After gathering some information, I concluded the reason why my account was disabled is because of the new username format they are implementing.
They have been prompting users to change to the new format slowly, and if they refuse to change it after being prompted to, it's considered a violation and the account is disabled.
But... why!??
I understand users must change it manually because those who have symbols or Unicode characters could not be changed automatically as it would not be compatible with the alphanumeric-only format, and because they have to be unique and stuff.
But was it so difficult to just block the user from chatting temporally until they update their username format instead of just disabling their accounts if they miss the prompt!??
I missed the prompt myself, and since then I coincidentally didn't enter the profile settings to see there was a "required action" there.
They have on their own website a QnA section regarding where to find the username change if you missed the prompt, which means that THEY KNOW that users MAY miss the prompt; then why the heck do you punish them by missing it as they were violating the rules intentionally!?
I'm so mad right now...
I understand why they are applying the username change, but the way they are doing it is so damn poor.

JM-Luxro#9441 is my new account now... until I can get a new chance to change it to the new format, which will take a while now because this account is more recent than my original one.

My Discord was disabled

There was no notification, warning, or heads-up; nothing. Not even a single email from them saying "f* you" at least.
I was using it normally and it just logged me off saying my account was disabled.
It wasn't hacked, because I didn't receive emails about suspicious log-ins or verification to change information or verification to proceed with the disabling of the account, so no one entered my account to do anything manually.
This had to be a doing of Discord themselves... but why? At least tell me something dangit!
I'll... keep you updated on what I manage to do...

Is it bad to give too many favs to newfound accounts?
Posted 3 years agoI have done it a good couple of times already; I see a draw or a character that I like, so I visit the gallery of the account to see if there's more arts of the character or with the same style.
If I found that the account has a great amount of draws that I like, wether is an artist or a person who commission arts of their characters, I scroll through the gallery giving favs all around to all those draws that I like, and even comment on some if I have something to say, just like I would do with others draws I see online... and give a watch to the account if I like it enough.
It had never seemed to bother them, and some had even taken the time to thank me for the favs and reply to a bunch of all those comments I gave.
But now, an artist blocked me literally because I gave him a lot of favs...
I realized it when I was about to give a fav to the new art he posted, a while after I found him and gave the favs and watch; then it told me that I can't give favs to someone who blocked me.
I reached to the person's Twitter to ask him why did he block me if I just gave favs and good comments... he said that he basically thought I was a random creep who was spamming on every commission...
I explained that I was just... well, showing that I like the arts he made, and commenting as I would with any art... I mean, that's what the fav is for, right? To show that you like what they do...
I still apologized for (apparently) looking like a creep; he said "it's okay" but when I asked if he were gonna unblock me, he didn't want to...... he also blocked me on Twitter too...
