family reunion this weekend. I'll largely be not-working

just letting y'all know that there's some promotions inbound

- 1 - I'm re-instating the free giveaway entries for super gremlins.
After a poll I found it that the majority of super grems actually did want that feature.  So ...

Yeah, when each giveaway is ran, all super gremlins will get 1 free entry into the drawing.  The "entries purchased" will not reflect this update, so be aware of that.

- 2 - Customer Loyalty Rewards will be $10 credit instead of the 15% coupon
a) it's easier for everyone
b) additionally, 15% off a $55 dopt is $8.25.  That means this version will generally save you more per order
c) this will be implemented via soft-rollout.  Meaning everyone will receive 1 more coupon before the new system.  If you'd rather immediately switch to the $10 credit reward, let me know and I'll jot that down for ya

So what's changing?
- 1 - Super Gremlins no longer gain free entries into giveaway drawings.
In the VERY rare chance that no entries are sold for a giveaway, then the super gremlins will be used as a pool.
Sad truth is that basically 1 in 10 people who received a giveaway dopt they didn't get a ticket for turned down the dopt. Ultimately that makes it a feature nobody wanted.

- 2 - The base price for dopts is going to be $60 now.
I need more time to work on commissions, and possible job search.
So, I'm raising the price on the dopts.

Simply put - despite best efforts to get shit done, life never cooperated with me.
And then to rub salt in the wound - every time I would have a normal proper day I'd get a dozen inquiries about "IS MY WORK DONE YET?"

Frustration and disappointment finally took it's toll.

Basically = I put an honest effort into my artwork as much as I can. when I'm doing these, I'll frequently try to look for little things to experiment with.

That being said ...

There is a difference between what I draw for cash and what I draw for fun. Primarily, for my own projects, I'm a comedy-of-errors type writer. I mean, the principle players in the Happenstance project include a Robert-Stack-esque revenant, a feisty gnome girl in a 9' ironman suit, Florida Man, and a foulmouthed wannabe dictator loon.

In other words, whether or not a character is hot is usually pretty low on the list. ^^; So if you ask me "what do you think of this bombshell" just be aware the answer is RARELY EVER going to be "she hot".

Especially when the inquiry is a thinly veiled commission request.

So ... to illustrate, here's the same question asked twice. The different ways asked will get a different response...

person "Hey, did you see that milk truck vampire from RE8?"
