19th birthday-plus thoughts
Posted 11 years agoSo,19 today,6 more years and I'm a quarter of a century old,puts it into context,doesn't it?,its really gotten me thinking,life really is short,why do people need to mindlessly argue about belief,or who you can love?,You only have one chance to live in this world,people need to stop telling others what to do,and simply let people do what they want,if a man wants to love another man,fine,as long as he's happy,why is there a problem with that?
So,I'd been thinking
Posted 12 years agoWell,since I haven't uploaded anything in ages,I thought up a little idea,improvised writing,basically,I'd write short stories,poems,ect,using whatever comes to mind first,seeing as I recently realised that some of the stories I'd think up while sitting in the car on a long trip were actually quite interesting,what do you guys think,should I give it a try?

Preview of "Blackwatch"
Posted 13 years agoJust thought since I hadn't submitted anything lately,I'd post a preview of a fanfic I'm in the process of writing,based on me and my Blackwatch squads time on Palaven during the Reaper wars.
-"We have reason to believe these are the "Reapers" which Shepard warned us about,and which Garrus Vakarian has been preparing for."-
We had been given plenty of warning that something was coming,Shepard kept trying to warn us,but we wouldn't listen,we wouldn't accept the fact that maybe there was something out there,something ancient,something that brought thousands,possibly millions of species to an end,and when they came,when the Reapers came,we barely stood a chance.
Alarms sounded,and an announcement was sent across Palaven high commands channels. "All personel,a large number of unidentified vessels have been detected closing proximity to Palaven,they have already shown hostility,the fleet has already engaged,ground forces are to prepare for invasion,repeat,prepare for in-" The announcement was cut off by a large explosion,everyone knew what was happening,Palaven was under attack,men,women and children looked up to the skies,and saw fireballs raining down,some of them wreckage of Turian warships,others something far,far worse.
