Anyway, here's the update. THIS IS MY LAST QUARTER TAKING A FULL COURSE LOAD. WOO! Will have my degree in June, will spend June-July traveling most likely, and then get a job in LA. (Fucking kill me now I hate the commute and the hustle and bustle of the city so MUCH). But shit is at long last falling into place.

So what does this mean for the furries? It means a lot!

First of all, today is my last day of instruction under a full course load, apes aujourd'hui je ne sais pas en la cours. Pardon my french, my oral exam is today (Huehuehuehuehue).

Anyway, after today I will be taking JUST enough units to remain on my trust fund, as a full time student, but this of course means that there will be LOADS more time for activities!

Over winter break I plan on getting my groove back, so I'm probably gonna offer Wing-it freebies. In the form of, I sketch your character, on a whim in a pose or activity that I so choose to do for artistic practice.

Hey all! It's been a while since I've posted an update, so lemme just cut to the chase~

I'm moved into my new one bedroom apartment and couldn't be happier. Finally starting to feel comfortable like I found a place that feels like home.

As y'all have probably noticed from the last...6 journals, I'm trying to stream consistently, and you can expect that I'll be streaming every other day until the 20th. Quite frankly I like streaming art, it keeps me on task, and it helps me stay motivated to keep drawing as opposed to off stream when I'm more likely to sketch at something for 30 minutes to an hour then just stop and do other things. SO EXPECT MORE STREAMS~!

I have both gift art and owed art as well as some personal pieces that will no doubt keep my busy for a few weeks. Good for practice, and some will be expressionary pieces. I've got some that I'll be uploading later today, and some throughout the week.

I'll have a bit of a slow production from now to Tuesday, probably won't stream.

Health Update (Because it's related)
I've always had super huge tonsils since I was a kid, but up until now it's been fine. I have sleep apnea as a result of those tonsils (As well as a few other factors) But I'll be doing a sleep study at a hospital Sunday night-Tuesday morning. They want to watch my sleep patterns and from there make a decision. More then likely I'll be getting my tonsils out, so while I'm in the hospital, I probably won't be streaming, but I may bring a sketchbook with me so we'll see where that goes.

Hey all, it's been a hectic week, finally moved into my new digs, got my wifi going and gonna upload art tomorrow midday once I get some good sleep inside me. Expect more art to be churned out within the next few days~

So, after I upload the ref sheet I did, I will be going offline for about a week. I'm moving into a new apartment and had to close one wireless internet contract and am in the process of setting up another. Basically I will not be back online until the 29th-30th. I will however continue to have the wireless network on my smartphone. I will essentially be checking journals and keeping my FA updated in ways other than uploading artwork.

That being said, this week I will probably do another ref sheet of my female character Kayla before trying to gear down on some anatomy. Yes, those who read the all caps portion of the journal will know what's coming.

So where to begin, sorry for being out of commission for such a while, my computer's motherboard blew a fuse and I was without one for two weeks, then finals week occured and I didn't find time to draw more than a sketch or two.

All of that will be changing however as I slowly start to get back into the swing of things. I will be uploading more art this week and the upcoming week, getting through some more personal pieces before I try and open commissions, mainly updating the refs on two of my characters, doing one or two summer themed pieces then opening 5ish slots that will hopefully give me stuff to draw.

So, after years of art block and struggling to get shit done, I've finally started to see myself getting better in some aspects of my art and I will be opening commissions very soon. That being said I will be doing my own personal art for the next several weeks, but will also be taking requests. Personally what I see myself working on will be pieces that depict summer, beach portraits, busts, badges, all of these are examples that I'm no doubt going to have to have if I plan on becoming a more serious artist. And that's something that I realize now I haven't been as serious before as I need to be. My goal is to work at least 2 hours a day on art, so expect to see much faster turn around as soon as I get my butt in gear. I've been looking more and more at anatomical refs and reading more about sketching in my freetime so no doubt you'll see my art progressing more in the next upcoming months.

BLFC was a bit eye opening in that I noticed that most of my time at cons is not spent at panels, suiting, etc. but that most of my time is spent in the dealer's den and most of my time at cons is spent talking to and networking with other artists. So my goal, my long term goal is to register for a table at FC and try to benefit from the con as well as accommodate what I enjoy doing most.

I'm opening 5 slots for commissions, in honor of Age of Ultron opening weekend. 10$ Color commissions, under a superhero cosplay theme. Turnaround will be from this weekend, to a week depending on complexity and time availability.

So I find myself in a conundrum as I sit here in front of my laptop at 12:30 AM. I have one class tomorrow from 9-11. That's it, by the time I finish working out, I'll be back home by 1pm. Assuming I want to spend 4 hours studying, and I want to get at least 8 hours of sleep before my 10am class the next day, I should be in bed by Midnight Thursday night.

Given this I'll probably finish studying and my related assignments at 6, cook dinner, finish cleaning, cooking and eating by about 7. This all presupposes I'm taking my time and rushing nothing.

This leaves me 5 hours to art. 5 hours of budgeted time that I want to devote to getting better as an artist in the furry fandom, and the more I end up scheduling my own time because responsible adult, the more time I'm finding for art.

The struggle is thus the motivation to keep on moving, and the motivation to keep getting better and better. Every artist I've talked to has said "Practice is key, keep turning at the wheel and you'll find your way", Recommending that I spend a minimum of an hour a day just at the very least sketching things out, and figuring out how things work. I clearly have the time to do so, but I'm finding myself encountering 2 major problems.

The first is that I don't have enough draw fodder backlogged to keep myself producing new doodles for months. I don't even believe I have enough ideas to produce art, or sketch new things consistently for a week. Thus the first question is "How do I keep my drawing ideas flowing? How do I keep producing ideas that I would then draw or sketch out for practice?" This is the first struggle I'm finding in my struggle to become a better artist.

The second is presupposing that I have said ideas in mind, at the very least for short bursts of time, how do I stay motivated to finish each piece? How do I keep a consistent end goal in mind while working on the art that I am right now? How do I keep the drive going to keep producing more and more art? If it's okay to answer, what keeps you going in terms of producing furry media in the fandom?

Anyway, philosophical moments at nearly 1am, going to sleep, hope to at least see some responses in the next few days~

So I realize now that I need to be able to draw that which I want to draw, and feel more inspired to do so when it's something I look forward to. At least for now whilst I'm still trying to find my own style and still trying to find my own thing that I like to draw in the furry fandom.

I know I like porn, but not for reasons that other people think. Honestly I just find myself liking porn as a form of expression and a way of thinking sex positively. That being said I'm not going to only focus on porn, or hyper smut my own gallery, but I know that when it comes to doing so I'm going to have to start small and work my way larger.

Come spring break I'm going to be doing sketches, and really trying to improve my anatomy while at the same time working on my own style. So, FC was great fun, I got to hang out with some friends I never see anymore, I got to solidify some new friendships and overall I had a lot of fun, it was one of the times where I truly felt blessed to be in the fandom and to have the friends that I do have.

I think I'm going to try and get wicked serious about my art, so expect more posts from me and more frequently. I know it's hard with school, but my goal for now is 2 pieces a week, not including anatomy sketches. Commissions are closed for now, but will reopen once I feel I have a better grasp of the tablet. So a lot of people have asked for my opinion on the Ferguson case, and why I take a slightly negative stance towards it while maintaining neutrality in some aspects, and honestly I'm going to lay out everything right now.

First off, I'd like to point out that the media is not and will never be able to aptly portray anything beyond the verdict, numerical jury splits. I say this because it's true. I have personally sat in on federal cases that have been brought to justice, only to see some aspects slandered by the media, no form of media is above getting facts wrong to tail a case to their audience.

That being said I acknowledge that there's a level of "Pissed off" we should be. The fact that an officer was essentially given freedom after firing 6 rounds into someone, regardless of race, goes against their training and goes against our most basic of human rights.

Do I think that Darren Wilson will be brought to justice even if he hasn't in the state courts. Realize that one verdict isn't the end of the legal proceedings, as the brown family will attempt to take him to civil court in a case that could end up with Wilson paying millions of dollars in reparations as well as the Attorney General taking him to federal court for civil rights violations.

Most importantly I feel as though while this initial crime was something that should have been looked at with more scrutiny, taking the stance that the Brown family has a right to take him to Geneva for crimes against humanity, is a bit ridiculous given he will already be taken to a federal courthouse, out of St. Louis, to be prosecuted for civil rights violations.

Ultimately I'm waiting to make an actual decision for two reasons. First I want to see how the rest of the legal procedures take place, I think it's a bit too early, to claim that justice has not been brought to Darren Wilson. Second, I want to wait two weeks for the court transcripts to be made public, and from the official records I will make a decision, pending the transparency offered therein.

Again...just my opinion, but I'm going to make a decision based on facts.

I love my friends, they have their quirks, they have their times when they're a bit much to handle, but I'm always there for them. Me being the socially awkward person I am, love, love, love to avoid confrontation, but this is not only geared to one specific follower of mine, I will divulge some story time~

So I had a friend, who over the course of one day, used me to obtain drugs for free, at a cost that came out of my pocket, proceeded to invite herself to something to which she was not invited to, completely destroyed the vibe of friends hanging out by taking one drink and pretending to be drunk, and proceeded to cap the night off with date raping one of my friends.

There was controversy as to wether or not it was true date rape. I'm going to be harsh and honest here, He's a male, he had far too much pot and alcohol in his system, he didn't want to have sex with this girl before getting fucked in the head to next tuesday, and regret having sex with her the morning after.

People seem to only see it as date rape when I reverse the genders, a guy has a shot and pretends to be drunk, proceeds to take a trashed girl home, whose cross faded off of god knows what, and has "Consensual" sex with her....that's exactly what happened, it should be more of an outrage that the perpetrator of date rape is a date rape counselor.

AT ANY RATE, understand this, if I have to pick a side between two people, I will always stand by my friends. I'm angry and ranty right now, but the fact of the matter is I AM going to see this person brought to justice. She was someone I didn't particularly enjoy hanging out with before because she was self centered and made it all about her.

The fear I had was that she was a gossipy bitch, and she will probably shit talk me for eons to come, to people who don't know me, and will form opinions of me, burning possible friendships and relationships for me.

KNOW THIS, I've stopped giving a fuck about how I'm perceived by people who don't know me. "Those who matter, don't mind, and those who mind, don't matter" as it were. I will see this person brought to justice regardless of how it affects my social standing.
