I’ve been meaning to share an update for a long time but life has been keeping me busy!

I normally try to keep my personal life separate from my art, though I’ve been known to share major life events. At the end of last year, the biggest life event of all happened — I became a father! Since then, my life has been focused on my new baby and our new family dynamic. I’m lucky enough to be a stay at home dad and, as I’m sure you can guess, the adjustment curve has been a lot!

As for art, it’s currently on hiatus. I’ve tried sneaking in personal pieces and even the occasional commission, but I don’t feel like I’ve been able to devote enough time and attention to it. Personal pieces may still pop up here and there, but ultimately the time a piece takes me to complete exceeds the amount of time I feel comfortable asking a commissioner to wait.

As my little guy grows and gains more independence, I hope to be able to reopen slots and get back into the swing of things. I will really miss Freya month this year.

On the upside, I am using this time to research new techniques and brainstorm lots of new projects! The future is bright, and I hope you’ll stick around!

Meant to post this when things were happening on my end but things just kept coming up and forgot. Going to extend Freya a month to next week since back at the beginning of the month when I announced it I was hit with 2 big tech issues. One was my laptop was already hitting its age and was keeping me from working on art as it would start to lag if my files where to get too big and would crash. The second big hit was that i got a new desktop PC which would of helped solve my laptop issue but when it arrived it wasn't working right. After taking it in, it turns out when it was delivered the graphics card was damaged and had to get it replaced. So the majority of the month was just waiting for the PC to be fixed and slowly struggling using my laptop to get some progress on the 1st batch of Freya commissions. Now with it back I was able to finally get them done and hopefully no more tech issues for a long while from here on out. Just started posting them this week so I will be keeping a track of them here along with others who took part of the month. Still want to apologize for the long wait for them.

That's right, I will be offering Freya Theme Commissions for the month of July to celebrate Freya Appreciation Day on the 21st. I will try to get as many done as I can for the 21st but will still take more until the end of the month and finish them up. I will be taking 3 slots at a time as to not overwhelm myself and they will be strictly Flat Colors only as I can get those done a lot faster.

As well as being 2 character limit with Freya being one of the characters per the theme. When I'm completing the 3rd image of the list, I will open up another 3 slots again. They will be first come first serve deal, as well if I approve of the idea or not. If you want to claim a slot, be ready with the idea as well when I sent a note. I will update the Slot list once 3 ideas have been approved. Any other questions, dont be afraid to ask.

The themes and ideas that will get denied right away are themes of degrading, humiliating, gory, and discriminatory. This is meant as a time to celebrate and appreciate her after all so none of that during this month.

Payment will be through Paypal Invoice and it wont be sent until the sketch of the commissions has been approved. Once payment has been sent, i will finish up the commission. Mostly likely will stream the process to help finish them faster.

So due the extreme heat wave we have been having here in So Cal the past few weeks has been keeping me from working on art properly, the Freya Appreciation Day Image Set is going to be delayed today.
However, I will be streaming later today though as I work on them. Hopefully I can get them done before the end IF the weather doesn't get too hot again. :3 Here's hoping.

With the 5 hour stream done; tried my best to get them all done but still didn't couldn't today. Although with what i did get done, they should all be finished by tomorrow so its going to be delayed by 1 day. The So Cal heat wave really did just come in at a bad time for me but at least its just delayed by a day. Once again i do apologize and hope you look forward to the Image set tomorrow. ^-^

Sorry for being quiet lately, I'm currently working on several pics for this month, Christmas theme ones starting the lovely ladies from Deltarune: Toriel, Susie and Noelle. Just getting them sketched out and ready so I can work on them during Stream soon. Going to be 6 total images, 3 simple cheese cakes ones kind of inspired by those old school Betty Paige style and the other 3 will just be lewd images of the gals. x3

Been trying to stream a lot more lately as it does help me focus on working on art although I only stream when I do have something in mind hence why its been a while since my last stream. I stream at Picarto at https://picarto.tv/JorgeTheWolfdog . Currently I don't have a set schedule on when I stream as it does depend if I have something to work on but when I do stream its between 2 to 3 hours depending on the day of the week and start normally around noon or 1 PM PST so look out for notices of that in the future.

ALSO in the my recent streams someone bought up if I do Sketch Stream Commissions and while I said that I didn't at the time it did get me to thinking that I could start doing them. Still working out the details on it but look forward that soon.
