Going on Vacation! Possible commission slowdowns
Posted 8 years agoHey guys! Just wanted to give you a heads up that I'm gonna be con hopping and visiting San Diego in a few days! From 5/25 to 6/13 commissions will slow down a lot- I'll still be taking them, but the wait time will be a little longer, especially if I have a queue going. Approximate wait time for any commissions requested after today can be up to three weeks.
I will still be posting adoptables from time to time, so keep an eye out!

Anyway yeah! My retail job ended and I missed drawing, so I decided to try my hand at doing commissions full time.

Now I have time to kick back and art a lil before Further Confusion!
Fc'll be the debut of my adorable new fursuit (and secondary fursona) Valentine, lovingly made by the amazing
!! If you see a bright pink fennec fox with hearts in her eyes come say hello and feel free to give me a hug!
Anywho keep an eye out for my commissions reopening, I'm gonna finish up a couple of small projects first and then be back in business art-wise.

Work's been kickin my butt and I got super incredibly sick throughout like....the entirety of November (happy birthday to me lol I spent it at the Dr's getting an xray to make sure I didn't have pneumonia)
But thankfully I am better now! (And I did not have pneumonia, just bronchitis phew!)
Buuuut I'm still working and won't have time/energy to open commissions any time soon. I will try to doodle furries a lil more though to keep this account from becoming completely dead.
Anyway that's my scattered update love y'all stay healthy drink water and eat your veggies! And FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WASH YOUR HANDS OFTEN ESPECIALLY IF YOU COMMUTE TO WORK ON A DIRTY DIRTY BUS AND TOUCH MONEY ALL DAY. Learn from my mistakes. Don't become bedridden for three weeks.

JUST GOT A JOB (also info regarding commissions!)
Posted 9 years agoHEY ALL So this morning I woke up to a phone call to let me know I got a job! I'm going to be working at an adorable local candy store! The people there seem really nice and the job itself seems pretty fun, so I'm really excited!! Plus that means I can save up to go on trips and stuff (like FC, and visiting my friends) and pay off student loans.
Anywho this means that I probably won't be able to do commissions as often since it's a full time position and I'll be commuting, so I've got long days ahead of me! So for now I'm gonna be closing them up.
Once I get in the swing of things I might reopen them in the future, though! But for now I'd like to use my art a way to de-stress and relax.

So I just saw Kubo and the Two Strings
Posted 9 years agoGonna be real here - this is my favorite movie of all time. Yes, it even beats out Zootopia in my book.
It was very heartwarming and original, the storytelling in it was remarkable, the characters were either endearing or downright horrifying depending on their role in the story, and don't even get me STARTED on the monster designs!! Like, wow.
Also it's made by Laika, which produced Coraline, Paranorman and Box Trolls; all stop motion features. Basically the whole movie is made with clay, which is incredible, and apparently features both the world's largest stop motion puppet AND the world's first 3d printed stop motion puppet.
Anyway, please see this movie about a plucky one-eyed boy that goes on fun adventures with a monkey, a beetle and some paper. Apparently it's not doing too well in theaters and that makes me so sad, because it's honestly the first movie I've legitimately cried over in a long, long time.

Exciting life changes
Posted 9 years agoHey hey! So I just found out that my family was approved to move into this really cute apartment we've been eyeing for a while (yay!) It's at a very good central location, right by a major bus stop, and next to a very nice shopping center. I'm really excited!
It also means I'll have much better opportunities for work which will be nice - I've been living in a really small town that mainly hires family and friends so finding work has always been a little difficult since I only have a very small circle of close friends, so I'm excited for that change as well. I'm dusting off my resume as I type this lol.
On those notes the next few days are gonna be busy for me, so I'll be less active on here. I'll be finishing up my current commission and then possibly closing them while we move and get settled, and may keep them closed based on my success finding a job.
