Game Progress: Stuck
Posted 13 years agoSo I don't know if I've mentioned it before, but Monster Girl Quest is an amazing H-game that also has a surprisingly decent storyline going for it. The guy translating it to English is at http://roguetranslations.wordpress.com/
In the first game, a slime girl is your FIRST enemy. That was hard enough to get past.
In the second part, I've just gotten to the cave of a spirit I have to free. There's a jelly girl... followed by a blob girl... followed by a green slime girl who after you defeat half her health summons THREE additional colored slime girls...
I don't know if I'm going to be able to progress any farther xD;;;
Edit: So... somehow, I managed to eventually make it to the boss... who's also a slime. It's like they're reading my mind >.>
Edit edit: And the spirit I'm supposed to rescue is a slime too... ya know, there can't be THAT much good content past this cave. I'm fine with just replaying it over again... and over again... and over again... @.@

Core Rulebook Release!
Posted 13 years ago1000 Watchers (The Engineer Version)
Posted 14 years agoDon't post journals regularly, but figure this is a worthwhile (if slightly scary) metric.
I just crossed the threshold on 1000 watchers!
"Now, Jouster..." you might be saying... "You're actually at 1004 watchers!"
Well... there's 4 banned users in my watchers list, so they aren't really watching me. xD So 1004-4 = 1000!
Hence the Engineer Version.
:D
Gotta say guys, thanks for the support, and I'm glad you guys enjoy the goo as much as I do. <3

MFF 2009 Con Report
Posted 16 years agoSo: MFF Con report: GO!
Thursday, we drove up at a really early 7 AM start. Still ran into Chicago traffic... I'm convinced that run through I-90 that passes the city is a rite of passage to get into MFF, and you -have- to inch along in traffic for that. Anyway, we get there, I run into Tony who arrived a couple hours later (they got kinda lost, sadly. Especially since they were on the right road). Otherwise though, uneventful day, and we left for Penny's after wandering around the con, where I stayed the night.
Friday was a busy day, as I was running around trying to get a fair # of commissions set up. Got one from
gunmouth, as well as one from
kuraianubis and one from
blondevelvet18. I love them all, and am looking forward to seeing the
gunmouth one completed soon. :D I'm sure my watchers are looking forward to seeing it completed as well, you pervs. ;3 As for official con-related activities, I hit up both Uncle Kage's story hour, as well as 2's show, and their combined thing. After that was Whose Lion, which was one of the crazier ones I've seen, although I also felt that it was one of my better performances (in terms of overall suggestions and the like... definitely one of my strongest). The dance was, sadly, full of bass and fail... is it too much to ask to be able to hear the melodies of the songs we're supposed to be dancing to? Anyway, we left for Penny's again, where some New Super Mario Bros was had.
Saturday was pretty eventful too. More running around with friends, more commission inquiries and setups. Watched the fursuit parade next to
myrilla (Hiiiii Myri~~~), which was fun. An improv theatre came to the con and put on a show called "Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind", which was actually pretty damn funny and awesome to watch, as they had a set of 30 plays that they had to get through in 60 minutes, so they were -fast-. After that was some more running around (The first hour of the dance had 80's music and techno, and you could actually hear the melody!), and then off to the charity show by 2 and Kage. It was pretty fun just listening to them riff off each other and talk to each other. Shout out all to
kritterfox, whom I finally got to meet (he was sitting down the row from me. I noticed the badge and was like "YOU!" :D). That ended at 1:30, which threw some scheduling kinks in re: some friends who were very hospitable. For that, I apologize to them.
Sunday was, as all last-day-of-con days are, melancholy, as I spent much of the day saying good bye to friends and wishing them well. Commissions were completed (save for one, but I'm happy to wait, as the quality is amazing), and I got most of what I wanted out of the con, so I feel pretty satisfied.
I really don't want to get back to school, since final projects are a lot closer in terms of deadlines than I would like them to be... it's like any time I do get a fair amount of relaxation life has to rebound and smack me upside the head. But, no whining... just gotta knuckle down and get through it. Looking forward to pending commissions, and I'll be sure to keep the commissions coming in as I can. :D Hope everyone else had a great time at MFF, and I look forward to seeing you at future cons.

Saturday was pretty eventful too. More running around with friends, more commission inquiries and setups. Watched the fursuit parade next to

O.o Research and Development Mod
Posted 16 years agoI'm not much for plugging games in journals, but if you have HL2: Ep 2... you -have- to play this mod.
http://www.moddb.com/mods/research-.....evelopment-exe
Seriously... rivals Valve on production and execution, and I enjoyed the hell out of the puzzles.

Wooooo AC
Posted 16 years agoSo, -man-.
AC this year was crazy awesome. Got to meet a lot of the people that I was trying to from this site specifically. Had a list, checked it twice... no, wait, that's not right......
Anyway, -finally- got to meet
dragoneer, thanked him for running the site. Got to talk to
nek0gami, which was pretty awesome. Special shoutout to
[koh], who sadly I was not able to provide fish to (next year, fuzz-butt, next year). And for the first time, I got to see
snapai's complete Citra Lolipop animation (no, it's not complete yet... half the scenes are still keyframed, but oh wow is it awesome nonetheless) :D
Cheers to all. And, uh... *stares* Art dump soon. o.o Like... as soon as I wake up again, because right now I'm coming off the trailing end of 6 hour drive + about 3 hours of sleep all con so I'm about to just die on the keyboard.

Mass Response!
Posted 16 years agoFound some free time and finally got back to a bunch of comments left on the images I've uploaded... thanks again for commenting, and I'm glad by and large that you all enjoy the images as much as I do. :D I'm certainly going to keep working on getting more, so... :)
MFF 2008

Thursday:
Got together with Equino around 2 in the afternoon, and went to pick Panda up from his house. Then we left, heading for Chicago. The trip over was uneventful, and having Internet along the drive made it very enjoyable. We did get turned around once when an entire side of the highway was closed down, but after some quick turnarounds we were back on the way. We arrived at about 8 (CST, mind you) and I met up with Kimmy. We waited in the lobby until Penny and Josh arrived with Mitsy. I got pre-reg done, and we hung out for a while before I left with Josh and Penny for their house so I could unpack and sleep. Penny had the most -comfortable- and warm blanket on the planet... it was fuzzy on one side and insulated with faux fur on the other. So sofffftttt...
Friday:
We left for Josh's work after getting up and getting ready, since Penny had left her con badge in his car. Once picking that up, we went for the con. Hung out, explored... I got a commission from Fishyboner (which should be up in someone's gallery sooner or later). We ended up shifting our plans, and went to Mitsuo market that night, and even though it was a much further drive from the convention than last year, it was still delicious getting real Ramen, and seeing all the strange foods. Seraline and Espent (her fiancee) also came along. Then it was back to the con, where I participated in the "Whose Lion" panel again this year. I even had someone comment after me "I can't follow that up", which was immensely satisfactory. On the negative, someone apparently tried to smoke in the hotel and managed to set off the smoke alarms, which sucked, but it happens. Finally, we dropped the others of the group off and headed for sleep again.
Saturday:
Tokoz showed up! :D We went for breakfast at a little mom and pop place near where Penny lives, and even though I'm not really a breakfast person, I got these apple waffles that were absolutely delicious. They didn't use pre-packaged apple mix... they made it all from scratch. Delicious. Then more con stuff. The real fun happened later that night, when a good number of us went to Penny's and Kimmy cooked us all baked ziti, while Tokoz made mincemeat pie. They watched me play "Mirror's Edge" (I've gotten over the motion sickness that game initially cased me), and then we watched "The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension)", and MST3K'd the thing to hell, which caused me to laugh hysterically. Josh and Tokoz were feeling tired, so they stayed at home while Penny and I went back to the con and went to the charity improv. This was supposed to occur yesterday, but due to the fire alarms pushing the programming an hour later, it was rescheduled. Seeing Kage run around in a Hamtaro suit was hysterical, and I was also able to inquire a tipsy 2, Jibba, and Kage when the most drunk they've ever been was, which started a very amusing little story from each of them. The dance took a turn for the worse though... they followed the AC pattern of cranking the bass up to max, which generally causes the melody to suffer. Now, while I'm sure some people dance to the bass grove of a song and were appreciative, I much more appreciate dancing to the melody of a song, so these sort of dances don't really do much for me. At any rate, we finally decided to head back to Penny's place in order to get a good night's sleep for the last day of the con.
Sunday:
Final day. Always sucks, but I think I might be getting used to it. At any rate, it was another fun day of running around the con. I started catching up with the people who were leaving earlier and wishing them a safe drive home, and thanking them for coming. Seraline and Espent left first, followed soon after by Tokoz, and then Penny and Josh (they were just feeling rather tired [I'll be the first to admit that conventions really take a lot out of a person]). This left me, Kimmy, and Mitsy, although Mitsy had to go to the airport to for his flight soon after. Kimmy and I hung around for a while, just wandering and chatting, before I ran into Furyfire. We were both kind of hungry, and Kimmy had disappeared for a little bit with some friends, so we went up to the con suite to get some food. This took care of lunch, and was free, so it was really pretty awesome. Then I caught back up with Kimmy, and we continued wandering around until I ran into Onyx and Darktiger. I asked if we could hang out in their room, since I was waiting for Panda to get done with his stuff so Equino and I could leave, and they said that would be fine. We hung out there with Draco and some other pretty cool friends of his, until finally I went to find Equino, and Kimmy and I parted company. Equino and I waited for another hour before Panda got back from his trip to get coffee with some of his friends. Then we were off, and I just finished typing this report while we're on the trip (at 12:35 AM, no less... GPS says we'll get home at 3:30 AM, so after this gets posted I'm going to sleep). Such is life, I suppose. As stated previously, having Internet does make the trip go by so much quicker.

Massive Art Dump
Posted 17 years agoYeah, I know. XD I haven't been very active here for the past year... lurking more, posting less... Granted, my muse has been almost dead, too.
The most recent art dump is all the goo-girl stuff Equidna and I have worked on in OpenCanvas. He has no problem with me posting this, so no worries about art theft or anything like that. I promise I'm not claiming -any- of it as my own. I just think it's a shame for it to just sit on my hard drive and nowhere else. So... enjoy. ^.^
Oh, and if you all have any suggestions, for combining fetishes with goo, or any ideas regarding goo in general, drop a comment. I'd love to hear them. ^.^ The only point I'll make is that I am heterosexual, so tailhole-type ideas will be avoided. :)

Hmm
Posted 18 years agoSorry everyone, but any tags are null and void. I really don't have the time right now to fill out memes. :/
On the plus side, I am still alive. Got a co-op, which has been where the majority of my time as of late has been focused. But hey, they bought my a BlackBerry, so things are pretty good. :)
I'm going to try to do some art or a story or... something. To prove that I'm not actually dead. It may be a little while, however.

Got tagged by two people. @.@
Posted 18 years ago"The 1st player of this "game" starts with the topic "6 weird habits/things/hates about yourself" and people who get tagged MUST* write a journal about their 6 weird habits/things/hates as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave a comment that says "you are tagged" on their User Page comments and tell them to read yours."
1. I like to think of the internals of my computer using ReBoot and Tron. Naturally, I know this isn't how it is, but there's a nice little enjoyment factor whenever I load up a game and hear in my mind "Warning... incoming game" or when I beat a game and get "Game over... user wins" :)
2. I go on kicks with snack foods. For a month or two I'll eat one snack food straight, every day, sometimes twice a day. Used to be Provolone Cheese, then it was Tuna Fish (straight out of the can) for a while...
3. I play the game. Yeah, I lost.
4. I will put an insane amount of effort to go to a fur meet. Two and a half hour drive for the local fur group meetup in Cinci? Not a problem!
5. I suppose being furry counts as a 'weird' thing about me. XD
6. I used to play MUDs. Recently, I've gotten back into them. FOr those that don't know, it stands for Multi-User Dungeon. Picture your flavor of MMORPG... then remove the graphics. Yep, text-based RPG. :)
Not tagging anyone, 'cuz tagging can get annoying after a while.

Gah
Posted 18 years agoOk... how do you post a story to FA and get the .doc or .rtf version to display? All I ever get is "Unable to display file" and when I try to post it as a .txt, all my quotation marks become question marks, which is extremely annoying.
