Today was rough. My Velowave Ranger E-Bike was stolen, and I’m feeling a mix of frustration, disappointment, and loss. That bike was more than just a ride—it was my way of getting around, my freedom, and a major investment. I can’t believe it’s gone.

I had it locked up, but apparently, that wasn’t enough. It’s scary how quickly someone can take something so valuable. I keep replaying everything in my head, wondering if I could’ve done something differently. Maybe a better lock, a different parking spot, or just more vigilance—but at the end of the day, I guess if someone really wants to steal it, they’ll find a way.

Now I’m stuck trying to figure out my next steps. Replacing it isn’t going to be easy, especially on a tight budget. If anyone has recommendations for a cheap but reliable electric bike, I’d really appreciate it. Something sturdy, decent battery life, and not a total nightmare to maintain.

Losing my Velowave Ranger hurts, but I guess all I can do is move forward and try to find a solution. Here’s hoping I can find something affordable soon.

I’ve been trying to get a commission from an artist I’ve admired for a while now, but every time I try, I end up getting rejected. It’s been discouraging. Either I offer them artistic freedom, and they say they want specific guidelines, or the character I want is "too complicated."

Today, I decided to give it another shot while they were streaming. I thought, "Why not try again?" The first time, I asked them to draw my pony girl character and left it up to them to interpret her however they liked. Unfortunately, they didn’t seem to like that idea at all.

I started wondering, did I do something wrong? This was the third time this year that my ideas have been rejected. So, I whispered to them on the streaming platform, asking if something was off. They told me they needed more specific instructions to avoid any confusion. Fair enough, I thought. So, I followed their request to the letter: I sent them my Sonic OC, gave them clear instructions, and even linked a reference pose.

But then I was told they were rusty at drawing Sonic characters and couldn’t do it. At this point, I was getting really frustrated but kept my cool. I thanked them for the stream, said “peace out,” and left.

Not even a minute later, I received a private message:
“Thanks. Please do not come back to my stream.”

And then I was blocked.

Now I’m left wondering, am I the one at fault here? I didn’t think I was being difficult. I followed their instructions exactly, but it still wasn’t enough. I’ve been a fan of this artist for years, and this whole situation just leaves me feeling confused and rejected. I’m not sure what to do next, except unfollow them and move on.
