I can already hear her saying “I love you more”, she always would say that.

She’s at peace now, hopefully reunited with my Papa and everyone else we loved and had gone before her. I cannot thank her enough for everything, she’s earned her rest.

Rest in peace Nana, I hope to make you and Papa proud.

March 11th, 1932 - August 7th, 2025.

Over the past year, my maternal grandmother, my last grandparent, has declined significantly as dementia has been hitting her hard, and within the last few months her body has slowly declined. It’s not known for sure, but it seems sooner than later, she won’t be around soon. Like my grandfather who passed back in 2020, she has done so much for me and my Mom and so many people, I cannot thank her enough for being basically a second mother to me as my mom and grandparents raised me.

My grandmother, my Nana, is 93, she’s gone nearly 5 years without my Papa whom she was married to for 67 years. She’s lived her life, and we will be okay if she leaves, I hope she knows that it’s okay if she lets go, whenever she wishes to.

The numbers keep getting bigger, my age being 34 now.

Just another day of working and such, still, hopefully it’ll be a good one.

Fun fact, when I originally made my username when I joined in 2010... it only took a few months for me to realize it was a mistake.

So yeah, I am now what I really have been going by on the internet since the end of 2010... MalyDude.

Someone who was part of my family for a long time ended his own life last night. Things are… bad right now.

Y’know, I have to be honest, when I first joined this fandom back in January of 2010, I really didn’t think I’d be here for this long. I also never did think that once I began building my universe by creating my first OC after my fursona, Frysta Caalin, that it would just keep building until I had well over 100 established characters. Guess we’ll see what the future continues to hold. For one I have one more main character ready for his debut, and he’s the last of them. Once he approaches, every main character will be here. >w>

So yeah, thanks for those whom stuck around for this long, as well as over 1,000 follows. I shall continue to provide the antics of my characters when I can. ^^

Here’s to it being at the very least, hopeful.

I got 32 commissions this year, which includes the acquisition of Madeline from Jinash.

While I’m glad you all seem to like what I’m getting, I don’t currently plan to get as many in 2025 I admit. ^^;

Had a really nice time over in Texas, the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area to be precise.

Went to an area mall, had legit Texas barbecue, went to an old downtown area, went to Oklahoma, the art museum in downtown Dallas, had a nice Thanksgiving day with family, and met up with old family friends we hadn’t seen in over a decade.

I hope to head back soon to see everyone again, there’s even talk of my family flying out to see us in California and even where I am, in Idaho. ^^

Anyway… back to the ol’ grind and increasing Christmas spirit stuff.

Yep, I’m in California, but not for long. As planned my family and I are flying out to Texas for Thanksgiving. I’m a bit nervous, admittedly, but I’m also excited to see how the world looks from high above.

Hey everyone. Hope you all had a nice beginning of autumn, or spring if you’re in the south, heh, as well as a good Halloween. ^^

Things at my new job are going decently thus far, starting to make a little bit more than I did at my warehouse job and things are still on course for advancement, so that’s neat. And this coming Thanksgiving there are plans to head out to Texas to visit family and old friends out there, should be neat as well. ^^

And of course… now that it’s the season again, guess what time it is?

Might I ask, where did you all come from?

So, things are still trucking along in my neck of the woods, but I bring news that I’ll be starting a new job, one more in line with my studies and interests, in a few weeks. While I am happy that my current warehouse job gave me employment in the first place, it’s time I move on before my body and mind collapse. ^^;

And I’m still getting artwork when I can. Having employment has indeed granted me the ability to get more things. >w> Still have some in the works, two of which might be a little similar to each other… but… ah well.

Eyup, my birthday this year falls upon our Mother’s Day, as it was when I was born 33 years ago.

Still not sure if I feel my age yet. Sometimes I feel like I’m starting to considering my work though. >w>;

Anyway, here’s to finishing another trip around the sun, and a Happy Mother’s Day to all our mothers and mother-figures in our lives. ^^

So, I recently got back in contact with my father after distant contact for a while. Caught each other up on current happenings.

Eventually my father revealed that… I have a baby brother. I’m still kind of processing the news, having a brother whom is 32 years younger than me, and he’s nearly 29 years younger than our sister. He’ll be a year old in September.

So… yep, that is news. ^^;

February 15th, 2014 was the day I created my first original character following my personal fursona. Said character being my big polar bear Frysta Caalin. It would be three more months until I got my first image of her, which was my first paid image, but today 10 years back was when I made her.

To think that 10 years ago it was pretty much just my malamute self and her, but now… here we are with 14 additional main characters (one still unseen), and considering their families and friends in the background, the grand total of them all is 123 characters. owe;

Guess I just enjoy making characters, and I enjoy providing backstories, personalities and wants, connections… it’s quite fun to me, heh. Guess we’ll see where the next 10 years will take things, but it arguably started with good ol’ Frysta.

A Happy and Hopeful New Year to everyone. ^^

Kinda too much to mention, but towards the end… I landed a job, and apartment.

So… we’ll see what 2024 brings, shall we?
