Small Update...
General | Posted 2 years agoBeen a few months since I last posted an update on here huh? Well, guess it's time for a short catch up.
Still going here in the state of Idaho, I recently landed a job as an order fulfillment associate, so the funds are coming in again, which explains the new influx of art, and I'm hoping to find an apartment to move into in early December, so we'll see if that can be done.
And to round out this tiny update, since it's that time of year again, this song will never be irrelevant.

General | Posted 2 years agoIt’s kind of hard for me to get into today, dealing with a lot on my end right now, but still, today I am 32.
Okay... not so unfair.
General | Posted 3 years agoThe PET scan hasn't been done yet to detect any more small bits of cancer within my cousin's husband, but the surgery was a success, his CT scan didn't show anything else which is positive, he's fully conscious and he will be going home today, or within the next few days. They will have to do some more treatments to make sure the cancer stays away though.
So if the prognosis continues to be decent like this, it's a really good thing they caught the cancer now. Here's to hoping the cancer can be fully subdued.

Sometimes, life is unfair.
General | Posted 3 years agoWell, first off, when it comes to me, had tests done and I apparently have shades of diabetic neuropathy in my feet, hands, and ears, and injury-related neuropathy in my legs. It's all minor and manageable, just have to make sure it doesn't get worse.
And, now for the very unfair part. I have a cousin whom I'm close with, her and her husband. They've been together since 2005, and married since the end of 2011. They've been career-focused and have an array of pets, and no plans to have kids of their own. Last year, my cousin discovered she was pregnant, and they welcomed their new daughter early last month in February, they were very much over the moon about being parents, but... here's what's happening; Recently my cousin's husband experienced dizziness, which he chalked up to being tired or dehydrated, but then yesterday, he had more dizziness going into work and pulled his car over to let it pass. When he opened his eyes, his vision was nonexistent. After being taken to the hospital and tests were done, he has stage four melanoma, which he had a history of, but now it has spread to his brain. He's to have surgery really soon to take out the known tumor in his brain, but it's unknown if there's more, or if this will be successful.
Things were really looking up for them, moved to Texas in 2021, becoming parents after 17 years of being together... I knew they would be awesome parents, only to be struck down with this? I really hope that he pulls through this, they don't deserve any of this. My cousin potentially losing her husband, their daughter losing her father, it ain't right. Not at all. We can only hope and pray that this works.

Year in Review.
General | Posted 3 years agoSo, 2022 was one of the more eventful years in my recent life, let us see what went down.
- Discovered I’m Autistic.
- Had a legitimate IQ test.
- Made the decision to leave California.
- Got an internship within two months of leaving California.
- Steady income granted me the ability to get more art.
- Afflicted with an ongoing non-debilitating nervous system issue.
And… that’s the short version of what happened this year. What will 2023 bring? We’ll have to see. See you all then, heh.

Time for an update.
General | Posted 3 years agoHey everyone, been a bit since I last shared an update here, so I felt it’s time to catch everyone up on what’s been happening on my end.
First off… I’m still doing fairly well up here in Idaho, the internship’s going pretty well, making some money, which is why you all might be seeing more commissions from me lately, and I’ve acclimated to the colder and more-snowy winter/autumn season, and I’m expected to start with some counseling to help me reach my goals after the first of the year!
Now… for not-so-hot news…
In mid-August, one day after I started my internship, I woke up feeling perfectly fine, but by mid-morning I noticed my left hand suddenly feeling weird, and in the span of 15 minutes, it became slightly numb and weak. It’s not as weak anymore, but it otherwise remained the same, and now other parts of my body are feeling weird, but nothing debilitating. No discernible loss of strength or dexterity, so there’s that. I’m starting tests to see why I have this parathesia/neuropathy. I did find out that my A1C level, which shows how my blood sugar levels have been for the last while, was dangerously high, so it could be diabetic in origin, which I’m taking care of. So… hopefully it’s nothing serious and can be resolved.
On the family front, I also had a loss in my family. My father’s eldest brother passed away due to apparent complications from surgery, which was for the same reason I had brain surgery back in June 2011. He was an interesting uncle, being rather goofy, and I’ll always remember that of him.
And now for some more positive news, I’m actually going to be an uncle! My sister revealed the news to me nearly two months ago, and things are going smoothly so far. ^^ Her kid should arrive by late-May, so that will be interesting!
So yeah, much stuff is happening on my end. Hope all is well for all of you as the holiday season goes on.
-Cheers.

Good News!
General | Posted 3 years agoI managed to land a paid internship at the local electrical utility plant! This definitely is a step in a positive direction. ^^
Short Update.
General | Posted 3 years agoHey everyone.
It’s been a little over a month since I transplanted to a more northerly area in the U.S.
Don’t have too too much to say at the moment, though it still quite a nice place here, and I do have some employment prospects, as well as educational ones as well. ^^
Things still are looking up, I’d say.

One week left until the move.
General | Posted 3 years agoFeels like this’ll be short and sweet, heh…
The time is now extremely near. After months of planning and preparing, I leave California next week on the 15th. I’ve gotten so much support with my decision to leave, and I’ll be forever grateful for it all, seriously. I still feel hopeful that things could work out after settling down in Idaho.
A new adventure is on the horizon, and I will not squander it.

General | Posted 3 years agoEyup, that’s my age as of now at 9:28 am.
Don’t have too much to say, but with the planned move next month, I suspect my coming year will be quite a bit more interesting and positive than some of the more recent years. Here’s to a hopeful coming year. ^^

May is now upon us.
General | Posted 3 years agoMeaning the annual “MayTernity” thing… is a thing again, and I’ve appropriately changed my avatar for the occasion. >w>
So, this month is now my final full month of living in Southern California for the time being, idyllically, for good. The time for me to move is fast approaching, with June 18th or 19th being the project dates to do it. Still have some things to take care of, but I should be ready by that time. ^^
And of course, May’s my birthday month, with my birthday being next Thursday on the 12th. Still hasn’t really sunk in that I’m 30, much less soon to be 31. ^^;
So, a tiny update. Cheers.

General | Posted 3 years agoHey everyone, hope the year is going at the very least, decently for all of you.
As for me, this year might prove to be one of the most interesting ones I'll have had so far. The reason? This summer I am making the decision to move out of state. The short version is... I feel I've ran out of opportunities where I am, and I felt the need to look elsewhere to start over. It's not a quick fix to my current issues, but I feel starting again in a new fresh-ish place would be good for me to build myself up. I say "fresh-ish" because it's a place I've often visited; Eastern Idaho is where I'm headed. I have some friends up there whom are willing to help me out with jobs and opportunities up there, so I am going to give it a try. If it works out, I'll be there from then on.
Another change that has occurred is that I recently got the diagnosis of high-functioning autism. The diagnosis honestly makes a lot of sense. I certainly have been functional, but there have been some lingering differences in how I process certain things, ever since I was a kid. With that, I will need assistance with a few things, which will be beneficial in the long run, heh.
So yeah, I am moving soon, and I'm on the spectrum. Life will be different for me soon, and I am ready for it.

Small Backlog Posted, and a Belated Happy Holidays.
General | Posted 4 years agoAs stated, finished posting my backlog, but still have some pending images to come, heh.
Hope everyone has had a good season so far. For the most part ours had been good, but unfortunately, we received news that one of my mother's cousins passed away from cancer yesterday morning. We knew it was coming, but it's still going to be hard for a while.
Hopefully 2022 will be a decent year, we'll have to see what it holds, as always.

Happy Halloween Everyone. ^^
General | Posted 4 years agoJust to bump off my previous journal, hope you all have a safe holiday today. ^^ I kind of expect to see a lot of trick or treaters this year… since things are more open compared to yesteryear. ^^;
Cheers everyone.

Level 30 has been reached.
General | Posted 4 years agoAdieu to my 20s.
I don’t feel 30, but I am 30 now.
I did accomplish a few things during my previous decade of life, and I hope to accomplish much more as I begin my next one.
Cheers everyone.

The Final Countdown...
General | Posted 4 years agoAs we have approached the month of May, I am reaching the final days of my 20s. In a mere 11 days... I’ll be 30 years of age.

Time definitely flies, that’s for sure.
General | Posted 4 years ago30 days... only 30 days until May 12th, which is when I turn 30.
Seems like it was a mere few years since I turned 20, but that was a whole decade ago, and I was pretty astonished about changing the tenth digit of my age back then as well. I don’t feel like I’m turning 30, and more than a few believe I don’t look the age either, heh. I can say accomplished a few things during the last decade, a few degrees mainly, but I hope to accomplish much more as I enter my fourth decade of existence.
Ready or not, I’m about to leave my 20’s behind very soon.

It’s common knowledge that 2020 was a questionable year...
General | Posted 5 years agoWith everything that’s happened of course, and on my end I had to deal with the loss of my grandfather. Still hurts, but we’re managing, he wouldn’t want us to stall because he’s not here anymore.
So... I wish everyone a Hopeful New Year. I don’t expect things to be better in the short run, but maybe things will lighten up in time.
