General | Posted 7 years agoEyup... I’m now 27 years old today. ^^
I was treated to a really nice dinner yesterday evening, and soon we’ll be heading out to breakfast at another real nice place.

One day until I level up again. owe
General | Posted 7 years agoEyup, tomorrow on the 12th at 9:28 am PST, I’ll be turning 27 years old. I’m inching every so closer to 30, which is kinda scary. ^^; Time sure does fly nowadays.
And on a different mention, saw a bit of an influx of new followers after
posted the piece of my fennec Shannon. So, I don’t often do this, but I wanna say thanks for following me as well. ^^

And... in 11 days I’ll be leveling up to 27! Where’s time going? o.e;
Well, anyway, I hope you’ve all have been doing well. ^^

We might not know for sure, but I’m sure Stephen Hawking knows the answer now.
Rest In Peace...

General | Posted 8 years agoThis was something that we had seen coming for a long while now, and we prepared ourselves for the day that we had to make that decision about Chelsea. We know that we did the right thing to make her comfortable, to take the pain away so she can rest easy. I feel devastated.
From the days of when she was a naughty puppy in 2003, to the years of her being a mischievous, smart, and silly adult, and in her final times of being a slightly less mischievous, calm senior citizen, I’ll always relish in the good times that we had with Chelsea. There was never a dog like her, and there never will be another like her again, she was truly unique, and I’ll always love her. We gave her so many silly nicknames, Queen of the Desert, Majuu, Chamana, Bad/Ugly Girl... to name some... But I consider her my sister.
Chelsea, I’ll never forget you, and I hope that you’re having fun playing with toys, laundry detergent bottles, eating all the cheese, apples, and peanut butter you can have. And I hope that you’re having fun with our family companions of the past, Quasimodo the desert tortoise, Lilly the French Lop, Sierra the Shepard mix... and all whom had come before my own time. Rest easy on the other side Chelsea, I hope to see you again someday, and that you’ll be waiting. I love you so much, from your “brother”.

General | Posted 8 years agoAt 10:23 am PST, Chelsea departed from this world.
This is it... for Chelsea...
General | Posted 8 years ago.... she can’t hang around anymore, she’s in very bad shape and she has a sorrowful-stoic look on her face. We’ll be taking her in a short while.
2017 has drawn to a close...

Update on Chelsea, good news.
General | Posted 8 years agoSo... we decided to wait to see how Chelsea would do, and as it turns out, Chelsea will have her good and bad times. Apparently last week, she had a real bad flare up of her arthritis. We fed her extra amounts of coconut oil to help with her inflammation, and as of now, she has mostly recovered from said flare up. Needless to say, it’s quite a relief. ^^;
An unwanted decision about Chelsea is near.
General | Posted 8 years agoI’m sure that plenty of you know of my lovable malamute Chelsea. She’s been in our lives for nearly 15 years, of which she’ll be that age in roughly three weeks. But in her advancing age, she has developed arthritis, which wasn’t too much of a problem for the past 5 years, but now it’s becoming apparent that it’s getting worse for her. Chelsea usually has trouble getting up in the mornings, but after some movement she usually is okay, but within the past few days, it’s gotten really hard for her to get up, get excited about seeing her favorite foods, and her head is drooping down as if she’s not happy. We knew that eventually, the time would come that Chelsea would have to... leave us. It’s not something we wanted to think about, but we have to prepare ourselves, and there’s also the thought of having to take her to the vet to... do the thing. We’re at a crossroads now, whether to see if she’ll pick up again, or if her pain is too great and we may need to consider her end. Is it fair to her that we wait?
It be that seasonal time again for cans....
General | Posted 8 years agoThe Christmas Can-Can to be precise, a song that after many years, remains fully on point about the holiday season. >w>

Time for another "Ask me anything" journal!
General | Posted 8 years agoFirst off, I recently surpassed 400 watchers here on my page. Though I've been mostly silent, I do appreciate and thank all of you whom decided my page was worth following. So, I've decided to open up another A.M.A. journal. If any of you are curious about myself and my characters, you may ask. ^^ But don't be asking anything overly NSFW, some of my characters may want to be secretive about such things, and though I'm a fan of surreal humor, let's keep nonsensical questions to a minimum. ^^; I'll be answering the questions as either myself, or through my characters.
Steven J'Mal
Aurra Eskimski
Kendra Eskimski-J'Mal (As a mention, absolutely no NSFW questions for her. Please.)
Frysta Caalin
Peng Xiao-Ping

Tomorrow's eclipse day for the United States!
General | Posted 8 years agoAfter many years of anticipation, the first eclipse to come to the 48 contiguous states since 1979, and first cross-country eclipse since 1918... will arrive!
The eclipse path will span from Oregon to South Carolina, and the width of the path of complete totality is only 69 to 70 miles long, but... to those who aren't able to see it in full, you'll still be able to see a nice partial eclipse. ^^
Here's an interactive eclipse map if any of you want to see where the path is, and what your specific location might be seeing tomorrow.
Hope you all enjoy the show! Whether it be full or partial.

Update...
General | Posted 8 years agoSo... it's been a short while since I've shared some recent developments on my end, so it's time I remedy that.
It's been over a year since I graduated, but... I still haven't found employment, but I'm not giving up. I may not find my ideal job yet, but... I think I may look into trucking until that day comes.
And... this past summer I've also been doing a lot of traveling, and I have more traveling to come. Back in June, my Mom and I went on another road trip up to Oregon to see my sister, whom I gave away at her wedding while we were there. It was a small and very untraditional wedding, but I didn't mind, it was really nice. ^^ On our way back down we stayed in Eureka, California, which was an interesting town... very hippy. >w> Our final stop was in Sacramento, which too was nice. ^^
As for what's next, I have another long trip planned. On August 14th, I'll be departing to Idaho to stay with my buddy
for a week. ^^ During my time there, we're going to be seeing the solar eclipse that'll be traveling from coast to coast on the 21st. I greatly look forward to that, I have never seen a total solar eclipse before, and I've anticipated seeing this for years!
So... that's pretty much what's been going on over my end.

Well I'm stunned...
General | Posted 8 years ago... Chester Bennington of Linkin Park passed away today, apparently of his own doing.
I throughly enjoyed listening to him and the bands work as I grew up, right up until... what happened today. I'm... I have not much else to say except I'm shocked, and I hope Bennington is at peace with the demons he had battled...

General | Posted 8 years ago26 years ago today I entered this world, which still baffles me as to how fast time is flying. ^^;
Later today I'll be heading to lunch at a seafood place I hadn't been to before, so I'll be looking forward to that. ^^

General | Posted 8 years agoSo... I recently got another image done, but this one is a tad different.
A while back I brought up an idea with my friend
stormychang revolving around her charming polar bear T.C.
What is this idea you might ask? It's an image that hilariously depicts the slightly unglamorous side of pregnancy. I do say she did it really well. X3 I encourage you to check it out here!

Renamom's icon I colored for the occasion. ^\\\^
Also... just over 12 days until I turn 26, and I still question where time is going...

General | Posted 8 years agoWith each passing year, time seems to pick up speed. May 12th is approaching fast, and soon I'll enter the latter of my mid-20's. Perhaps I should stop being so shocked at how fast time's going? ^^;
Also, hope you all have a Happy Easter.
