I think Jsrffreak is a little old and sounds just a little silly. I havn't played JSRF in YEARS, and although It is an enjoyable game, it's not something I'm particularly interested in anymore.
I just think it might be nice to have a fresh start. I'm still pondering it though. If i did switch accounts, I'd only post some of my newest pieces, and just leave all my old art here.
I dunno though.

Exams are finally over but I have even less time now.
General | Posted 14 years agoForgive my lack of activiy the past couple weeks. It was exam and final project time. The semester is finally over, but yet I find myself with even LESS time now. @___@
I don't want to go into huge detail, but My district manager found out what one of my co-workers was REALLY doing when he called in "sick", (which has been a LOT recently, and we really need people because of the Christmas rush.) so she fired him. I was basically given half his hours, and as a result, I am a part time employee working a full time schedule. I'm almost at 40 hours this next week. I'm not complaining as I really need the money, but at the same time, it doesn't leave me with a whole lot of time to work on commissions, art trades and other such things I owe. :( To anyone who recently ordered a commission from me, if its still not finished- whether you've paid yet or not- You officially get a free sketch. @.@ (This list consists of

My roommate is awesome and bought me some prismacolor markers as an early christmas present <3 To replace some of mine that have died. I also found some copic markers on sale, and have officially started a collection. owo. I'm super excited to try them out, but sadly as I just mentioned, I don't have a lot of time right now. >.<
I will do my darndest to complete these commissions by Christmas, but I can't make any promises D:

So these are pretty awesome to make. Even if they don't get fulfilled, it's nice to see what other people want for Christmas!
Step 1
Make a post in your journal containing your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple to really big. The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
If you wish for real-life things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where folks could get in touch with you.
Step 2
Surf around other lists to see who has posted their list. If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream for free--do it. You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call. There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. 6. Commissions..lol. This goes hand in hand with the money thing, but I like to EARN my money. u_u
7. Some MORE FA friends. :( I wonder if I'm intimidating or something...because people don't really interact with me unless they want something. o__o I won't bite! I promise.
8. For people to stop trolling me. Seriously. I don't CARE if you hate my artwork. Don't be an ass about it! >:\ Or better yet- don't say anything, and move on with your pathetic life! This isn't so much a christmas wish as it is a statement. >.>

I'd say we do. owo I mean...aside from the fact I'm not a purple tiger. But her hairstyle changes as mine does, I TRY to draw her with the same body type I have, and I own most of what I draw her in.
2 – Do you and your "fursona" share attires?
Mostly yes. Theres a few things I draw her int hat i WISH I had, but most of what I draw her in, I actually own.
3 – Do you share the same sexuality as your fursona?
Yep. We're both straight.
4 – If you hadn’t already made your fursona look like you, if you would to change how he/she looked like to make him/her look more like you, how would you think he/she would look like?
Theres really not much else I can do to make her look like me really :P Well...except change her tongue back from blue >o>
5 – Did you work hard to develop your fursona? What is the (brief) history of your fursona?
It sort of just... came with time, and with crazy RPs with friends. XD My fursona became a zombie after my friend Sari shot me D: She also has the power to give rabies if she bites, but she can control it~ uwu Although my fursona is TECHNICALLY a zombie, the decaying process goes very very slowly. In fact it's been 6 years, and the only sign of being a zombie so far is the blue tongue. (And I suppose the purple fur. >o>) But I suppose she is a MAGICAL zombie. >.> <.<
6 – Do you and your fursona share relationship status?
Yes we do. My fursona is dating my boyfriend's fursona, and is in an exclusive relationship with him.
7 – Do you find yourself jealous or upset if you get paired with someone you don’t like or your partner does?
Yes, because it's not accurate. My fursona is supposed to be a representation of ME, and I sure as heck wouldn't hook up with someone who wasn't my boyfriend.
8 – How would you like your character not to be used?
Do NOT use my fursona in a situation I wouldn't be in. If you feel like abusing a character, abuse one of the other characters I've created, but not my fursona. The rule is- don't put her in any situation I wouldn't be in. (No sex scenes, no crazy fetishes, so on, and so forth.)
9 – What’s your fursona’s specialty?
Being a zombie who can give rabies at will! And also being able to shrink down to 2 feet tall to get into trouble.

I mean...why watch someone if you're just going to remove them after like 2 hours? Same with faving something... General | Posted 14 years agoSo, i know I am a huge procrastinator, and that my webcomic hasn't been updating as much as it should be... but I'm reaching a point where I'm needing random stand ins, and I don't like thinking up character designs on the spot when they've only got a 2 page appearance.

I digress though!- I NEED COMIC EXTRAS!
If you'd like to have a cameo in my comic, send your characters to me 8)
I must warn you of a few things if you volunteer!! So PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY, so I don't get complaints later on.
1. If you hate pirates, don't volunteer. XD If it's not already obvious: This comic is mostly about pirates.
2. I MAY alter your characters appearance just a little. FOR EXAMPLE- This story takes place in a realm where your hair dictates your social status to a degree. So Basically- if you have short hair, you're either a lower class citizen, or a criminal. Though, the lower class citizens USUALLY have something indicating that they are a citizen and not a criminal, like a small long braid in the front or back, or a feather. if your character has short hair, I may decide to lengthen it for the comic.
3. I get free reign over the clothing worn. This realm is a fantasy/ Medieval sort of Realm. Punk clothing won't go over very well. :D;
4. If your character is of a certain element or has magical abilities, LET ME KNOW!! There's a chance they may get to show off their abilities! :D
5. Your character MAY be doing something they wouldn't normally do. Since they will be extras, I'll just be using them when I need an extra. As a result, their personality may not be accurate. Think of it as an acting role that your character is acting in. owo This comic has nothing really bad in it, but if there's something you absolutely DON'T want your character doing, please let me know. For example: If you hate the idea of your character insulting someone, let me know. (Because there will be insulting. They are Pirates after all!) There WILL be bar scenes, crazy people, etc! If there is anything really bad, (Such as killing/dying) I will be asking permission!!
6. Your character WILL be interacting with other people he or she doesn't know. If for some reason this bothers you, you probably shouldn't volunteer ^^;
7. DON'T bother me asking when your character will appear in the comic. >.> I'm going to need LOTS of extras, so it could be MANY pages away before I decide to use them. You MAY however; bother me to update the comic more often. |D I'm pretty bad with updates sometimes, so feel free to pester about updates, but not when certain appearances will be made.
8. ALL AGES are acceptable :D From youngins to old ones. There will be various scenes with townspeople, and Towns are made up of all ages!

In a bit of pain, but doing fine
General | Posted 14 years agoI am lazy, so I'm copying and pasting from my deviantart journal~
So just a quick update on how my procedure went Wednesday: It went alright. Being in the hospital for 10 hours was super boring, and the procedure itself was actually kind of painful... but I'm almost recovered :D I've basically been in bed for the past 2 days.
I was in a lot of pain Thursday, and it has subsided significantly. Though I'm still hurting a bit and I'm finding it difficult to be on my feet for more than 15 minutes without feeling crappy, but at least I can eat food again after not being able to eat anything since Monday! My digestive system is still trying to reset itself.
They took some biopsies during the procedure, and I'll have to wait for the followup appointment to see if anything showed up, but hopefully my insides look fine~

Art production will be delayed because of recovery! Just to let you guys know.

General | Posted 14 years ago I have a question for my watchers... Well Two questions actually! I want to get more personable, and actually make friends with some of my new watchers D: Treating you guys like an audience makes me feel like a douche. >>
1. Would anyone like to chat? I'm not online nearly as often as I used to be, but I still enjoy a nice chat when I do get online!
I've got yahoo, MSN, AIM, and Skype. and steam >o> though a warning- I use MSN and yahoo more frequently. Please tell me before adding though! I've been getting some spam bots lately.... and i don't want to mistake you for one, and have you be like "Y U IGNORE MY REQUEST??!! >8O" *INSERT RAGE FACE*
2. I need to do some personal art. I feel as though I'm lacking it lately. So I ask- is there any subject matter in particular you'd like to see?
More comics? (The most popular request....especially from my roommate XD)

COMMISSION PRICES WILL BE INFLATED ASAP! I'm just super exhausted from work today, so not tonight...possibly not tomorrow either DX
So they'll be inflated basically when I manage to get some time to myself ;;
The only thing that won't increase in price are the new additions to my commission offers. Because those are meant to be cheap-ish.
Oh..and also that Pin up deal I was posting around the forums. Digital Pin ups like so for $12 dollah! Can be themed or not, its up to you~ Extra character is an additional $2 dollah.

My bank screwed me over just a bit this month... charging me DOUBLE the interest they USUALLy do for my student loans, and so I'm out by $100 and my boss seems to enjoy screwing my schedule at work around quite badly, which is why I'm throwing such a deal out there D:
if worse comes to worse, I have a backup plan, but I would really PREFER to not have to use my backup plan....this involves begging my parents for money. XD; lol..
I will attempt to complete these within two weeks after initial request date. u.u I...kind of doubt people will pay much attention to this, so I'll put up a better advertisement soon, but i figured I'd mention it.

Also- there seems to be some confusion as to how my free art giveaways go- THESE ARE NOT REQUESTS!! WELL....in a way they are- but all you get to choose is the character being drawn. I never draw inappropriate situations without permission, so not to worry. However, I'll draw your character at my discretion. I choose the pose, the medium, etc, and I'll try to get all the markings right. If I get something wrong, I apologize, but I'm not changing it. I had a few people note me asking for exactly what they wanted, and I'm sorry, but unless you're commissioning me, it's not going to happen. As i said, I'd only be picking a few people at random, so there wasn't a guarantee in the first place.
Not to sound like a snob, but It's not fair to my commissioners if I treat free art like a commission. My commissioners are the ones who get to choose EXACTLY what they want. They get to choose the medium, the pose, the background, as well as any other little details. They get to see the work in progress! If I get something wrong, I fix it promptly! Paying customers are the ones who get such privileges.
If I offer free art- what you get is what you get.
I am sorry for the misunderstanding.

So, I decided a while ago that when I reached the 250 watcher mark- I was going to do a free giveaway- this time for watchers only, as sort of a way to say thank you. :3
Well I've reached that mark, and so now I offer my free giveaway!
It really depends what I'm in the mood for, but it could be anything from a colored sketch, to flat colors, to an actual full blown picture!
SO, if you are a current watcher of mine, and you'd like an opportunity for some free artwork- simply post your references here, and you can have a chance at a free picture. 8)
IMPORTANT: In my last giveaway, I had to constantly remind people to post references in their comments 8D; POST A REFERENCE IF YOU WANT A PICTURE. I don't care if it's a text reference or a visual reference (though I admit I prefer visual references), or else you will not be picked! D8 Don't just comment with "ME! ME!"
I'll leave this up for roughly a week, then I'll pick one or two people at random. owo
If you've already gotten free arts, give other people a chance. owo

Changes to Commission Prices, New Policy
General | Posted 14 years agoSo I think I'm actually going to bump up my commissions prices in a couple weeks. Only by a few bucks.
So if you want a commission at the prices they are at currently- Now is the time to order. owo
Also- I've added a new rule to my commissions Policy- If I take longer than 2 months on a single picture- You get a free sketch, because I really shouldn't be taking that long, and I always feel bad when I leave customers waiting for too long. So from now on: if it's been over 2 months, and I'm still not finished a commission- You've earned yourself a free sketch. :3

General | Posted 14 years agoSo I got a bit of extra money from my last paycheck, and decided it was enough to get a commission from someone because I quite like getting work from other artists. Due to financial issues, I was unable to commission people as I like to do every summer, but I think I can spare enough for one commission or so. :3
I'm still mulling it over though, so if you know anyone with awesome prices, (Yourself included) lemme know.
Anyway- So I posted in the forums, and a lot of the people who responded to my post were charging.... well a lot more than I do, for the exact same things and it got me thinking- Are my prices too low? I mean I DO think I undercharge myself, but do i undercharge by that much? o_o
I once had someone tell me I OVER charge on my comic pages, but I don't know ANYONE who charges as low as I do for full colored comic pages. >.> (Unlike my personal comic pages, which I am a total bum on, I WILL put effort into my commissioned comic pages XD)
So I'm not sure. Should I raise my prices?

I'm finding it really hard to stay motivated, and one of the reasons is the fact I'm not sure if its just my friends who read it. I'm not blaming anyone, as I was the one who wanted to make this comic, yet I'm slacking off on it so badly XD This seems to be a re-occuring problem with me and comics, but I'm still determined to finish this one.
I'm more just curious than anything. My room mate said she was going to start bothering me to get more pages done...
I guess I'm saying- feel free to bother me if there's something you want to see. :3
