Posted 8 years agoThanks!!
Posted 8 years agoToday makes it one year that I've survived on furry art commissions. It hasn't been easy and I've learned a lot. About how to work with others on commission work and how to approach that kind of relationship. And it really has been survival. With what I make I can usually only pay my rent and the electric bill. I've struggled but I'm still in my apartment and my dog has food. I'm always looking for a "regular" job. A broken down car has made it difficult but I'm still trying. So anyway I wanted say thanks. To everyone who commissioned me, fav'd my work and spread the word.
Here's to another year <3

Posted 8 years agoAsthma??
Posted 8 years agoAccording to some of the info I read It's a pretty good chance I have exercise induced asthma. I'm looking for a doctor to schedule an appointment with next week. Of course I hope I don't have it but it would explain a lot. Whether I'm in shape or not I always have trouble breathing while exercising and for a long time afterward. I jogged for about 20 minutes and it's been about 3 hours. There's still a lot of wheezing and my voice is even messed up.

Trans Day of Visibility
Posted 8 years agoIn the spirit of trans vis day here's a bit about my favorite trans person, me :P
If you're unaware, I'm a transwoman. I started my transition last year. First with therapy around March and then in September I started hormone replacement. It's been good in a lot of ways. Understanding where all the years of depression and anxiety stemmed from was a long awaited relief. It's nice having a clearer path and a goal has been liberating. My life has been chaos and without direction for as long as I can remember. Being on hormone replacement therapy (HRT) has been great but it's soooo slow. Patience is key, as they say. In some ways it has settled the internal noise and allowed me to focus on my art and my life without most of the emotional distraction. It's not all gone but it's better than it was, mostly. It comes with it's own set of hurdles. Most notably, the loss of my job and the consequences that resulted from that. If you've hung around my streams I've mentioned(bitched about) it from time to time. Also some of which are most likely impossible for me. Facial feminization surgery and gender confirmation surgery are probably out my reach, financially. Transitioning socially has been alright. My friends are good people. I was accepted universally. There has been total lack of pronoun usage though. I mostly just get "hey". It's like they're not comfortable with she/her and my name but don't want to offend me. Maybe it'll be easier as I change from hrt. Hopefully. My family doesn't speak to me any longer though. I have 3 brothers, 2 of which I was really close with growing up and not talking to them has been rough. But I'd rather live without them then live a lie for their sake. And here I am now. Early transition and looking to good things in the future.
