ITS BEEN A WHILE
Just making this journal to update on life and art and stuff.
I finished my sophomore year at Rutgers, passed everything, thank fuck. Also got a research internship for next semester and holy shit I'm SOOO HYPE. Its' in marine virology, and I finally have the chance to do my own research instead of just acting as a technician/ lab lackey. I feel like I get along really well with the PI and I could see myself following this career path wherever it leads me.
Both physical and mental health problems have been kind of godawful, I had a stint in the hospital in November, and I've been dealing with some form of presently unnamed inflammatory condition since January or so. My rheumatologist says that blood tests show something ain't right, but there are no specific antibodies showing that would help her ascribe a label to it yet. All I know is I ache a lot in my joints and muscle haha. Weed helps though.
As far as furry stuff goes, I've been super active on twitter ( twitter.com/juniusK9 ), I'm still sticking with the 4 eyed dog sona but also have my horse sona as a more "personal" self representation. Hoping to make a suit of them soon!! I got the suit of my 4 eyed doggo made by BlueFox Fursuits and I'm super happy with him! I think I've posted pictures but if not I'll rectify that. I've also been playing a lot of Second Life lately, mostly as my horse.
I'm definitely gonna be at Anthrocon, and I'm so so so so hype for it!!
Last thing, since my internship starts in September I've been relying on my art to get by financially. It's gone well on twitter but I've decided that increasing my presence on this website certainly couldn't hurt on top of that. I've posted my price sheet, I've got some adoptables up, I have 2 premade fursuit designs I'm offering for sale (can be delivered at AC!) that I'm about to post. Also running a badge special if you preorder for Anthrocon delivery!

Do you do commissions?
Yes I do! Money is cool, bringing me food or energy drinks is cool, I'll draw for you in exchange for either option haha.

Aside from some premade badges for commissioners, nope.

Nope. Was planning on it but dropped the ball with work increasing my hours ::c

My girlfriend and a bunch of good friends, I hope! I'm really open to making new friends and hanging out, I hate being alone at cons haha
What is your main purpose for attending?
I just want to have a really good time!! Anthrocon is very special to me and I wouldn't ever miss it if it were in my control. I get to wear my fursuit, meet old friends and make new ones, and enjoy being in a city that loves the furries back.
Can I talk to you?
Absolutely! I can be very shy, and if I'm busy I might ask if we can catch up later, but I really want to make new friends and some good memories.
Can I take pictures with you?
In fursuit, of course! Outside of fursuit I look like a lumpy potato so I can't see why you'd want to.
Can I touch/hug/cuddle you?
In fursuit yes, or if we're friends yes! Please ask beforehand though.
Can I hang out with you?
ABSOLUTELY! Please do omg
Do you go to parties?
Yes, yes, yes. Please invite me!! I hate sitting around alone after 10 PM at cons, I feel very awkward and unwanted when I do.
Are you hosting any parties?
This year, yes, actually! My very first time hosting and I'm incredibly nervous and excited. Still unsure if it'll be in the Renaissance or the Westin (if I can find a room to borrow), but on Saturday night around 11PM I'll be hosting a party where everyone gets together to drink, watch mainstream media representations of furry fandom (i.e. CSI, ER, news coverage, Tyra Banks), and laugh. I wanted to do something unique with my party and that's what I came up with! I'm extremely nervous and hoping my first party EVER goes well, if you want to come please let me know so I can keep you updated!
Do you fursuit/costume?
Yes I do! I have my current fursuit ( https://www.furaffinity.net/view/19455303/ ), this will actually be the last con where I wear this version of him fully. I'm keeping the head but retiring the rest, it's getting pretty old and worn out! I'm having a new suit made by BlueFox Fursuits and hope to have it by Fall.

Commission types are up and open!

I am actually pleased with FA's site design for once, with the addition of the commissions tab and the "open for trades/commissions" blurb. It's a good start I'll say.
But yeah my point is I put up commission types with some specialties I do and a general frame of my prices. I can totally do things not listed there, I just wanted to provide a few of my specialties and a general idea of what I charge.
If anyone is interested in a commission feel free to send a note my way, I have a major exam tomorrow but after that I should be able to communicate and begin working!!

I'll be migrating to here, just finished re-watching everyone but now I've gotta go study because I'm FUCKED for my chem exam tomorrow.
I don't know yet if I will be posting that much art here or not, but I'd really like to be able to pick up some commissions as school winds down. I need money and working part time is great but doesn't cover it.
