Good news for commissioners
General | Posted 3 years agoHello there! I have good news for commissioners.
My friend was able to send me almost all my files. I found a new tablet and I also can use a PC now. So I can draw all types of commissions you ordered.
My goal is to finish one commission per day. I will not draw if there are too many air sirens in the city, 'cause we are hiding in our buildings or in the shelters.
Also, I'm planning to open commissions! Something that I can draw quickly, so probably I'll open sketch commissions and sketch icons.
Maybe a few slots of grabby paws icons.
Also a huge thank you to all who donated. I received almost $100 and today we bought food and some meds!

Life updates + info for commissioners

This journal contains all information about my situation, commissions, refund, my income and information for commissioners.
TW: war in Ukraine
Situation in my country: I'm artist from Kyiv, Ukraine. My family run out from Kyiv and we currently in Lviv. It's became too dangerous in where we was and we decided to left everything in our home and run. But, I don't know if I'm safe right now. While there is war in my country, there is no safe place, I think.
Every day I'm afraid to open news. I can't find words to describe everything...
I currently lost all my income. PayPal doesn't work in Ukraine, but all alternative payment methods work, so I can try to open commissions in the future. Currently thinking about BuyMeACoffee.
For commissioners: I don't have tablet with me, I don't have files. I can't draw pixel art, or grabby paws icons. But I have iPad and some screenshots that I saved on my phone of commissions in progress. I can draw other type of commissions instead for you. As I understand, I can animate in Procreate, so I can even make animated icons. But I can't draw on iPad, like I draw with tablet.
I can draw regular animated icon instead of pixel icon or grabby paws icon. I will send notes/DMs to every commissioners to discuss their commission. I lost all my income, so I can't provide refund, sorry.

My cat feels okay! We currently have a plan for what to do and how, so everything going to be okay with him.
So now I have time to focus on myself.
Warning: some information below contains information that some readers may find upsetting.
I had a mental breakdown a day ago. This year was too hard for me. Lots of bad things happened, my close friend passed away, four of my family members currently have a covid, my aunty has throat cancer and all these situations hurts me from inside. It's really hard to handle everything for me. I cry from time to time, can't sleep at night. I feel shame and disappointed in myself.
When I posted the previous journal, my friend asked me why I didn't open commissions instead of making a set of adoptables. It's not because I can't. I just don't feel that it's what I want right now. I don't have any resources to do something that I don't want to. Drawing is still my kind of therapy, but not all commissions bring me joy and I am afraid to disappoint commissioners.
I'm going on a semi-hiatus. I still will be drawing, creating adoptables or YCH, but slowly and if really wanted to do it, not because I have to.
My husband helped me a lot in this situation. He covered all bills, so I need to worry about finances, and said that I should take a break for recovery. And this is what I'm going to do.
I want to say thank you to all who supported me! ♥ It means a lot to me. I'll find my way to say 'thank you" to you. Maybe open requests or gifts but a bit later.

Need some help \ Vet bills

I need some help to cover vet bills.
My cat was diagnosed with feline panleukopenia (23 Nov). The vet gave me prescriptions for a few antibiotics.
But my cat feels okay. If google panleukopenia, it is like a feline plague. It's a really dangerous disease. And I don't understand how they found it in a cat who hasn't had contact with another cat. It's freaking me out. I started giving him antibiotics (24 Nov) and that's when the cat start feeling bad. I called another vet (Nov 26) and they said that it's nonsense. It's not possible. Especially if the cat doesn't have any symptoms for a week.
I currently don't know what to believe in. So now I need to make all tests again for my cat.
