A New Year to Try Out

Life changed a lot! Long story short I moved provinces, and am now attending college for a new career path!! I'm already halfway through my first year of two years! I have found my study/work/play balance, so I think I can get back in to arsing and crafting again!
All good news!
I'll be starting a Redbubble with my prints, and soon be dropping a sale thread for my etsy for all my retiring product styles (iron on shirts, doodle rings, tentacle earrings). So keep an eye out!
I hope to enjoy adventuring into new products and art in my spare time while studying and starting a new career! Here's to a thumbs up for the long ride!

Riding the Fall Artsing Wave
Posted 9 years agoNewfoundland is actually having a honest to go fall for once, and I'm back in a good job with regular hours! Trying to get my life re-figured out and trying to make regular drawing a part of it, and getting out of the house more even if it isn't to see people. So far it seems to be helping a lot!
Posting up some new Button/Print art and hopefully I will finally get up the gumption to edit all those damn photos I took of my jewelry. Photography and editing photography has always been my LEAST favorite part of running a business of any kind. BLECH!!! But whats gotta be done has gotta be done!

Posted 9 years agoSo, I have a new job and am working mostly evenings/nights right now! There are a lot of hours where nothing is going on, and I'm on my tablet/netbook. SOOOOooooo... wanna chat?!?!? Fire Extinguishers Needed
Posted 10 years agoSo life has been..... interesting lately. So sorry I haven't been on or updating!
Won't get in to details, but at the end of it all there is family drama in which I seem to be the only adult, I lost my job because my awesome Dr. Boss sadly needs Dr's himself so we had to close clinic, and I've been in a depressive low for over a month otherwise. Trying to struggle out of it, but it's a bitch.
Thank fully I DO have my face painting to afford food, and spamming lots of resumes for work, though I am going to miss my old job like crazy.
If I can get my head out of this fugue long enough I hope to have some more products up.

So keep an eye out for photo updated with new products (on MAN do I suck at product photos and ALL of my cameras have vanished in the last house move, so using my phone camera OH GOD) and after convention of course a POST CONVENTION SALE will be happening.
Also hoping to get off my ass and get a simple website up to purchase direct from yours truly in the next couple of weeks.

Posted 10 years agoLife got busy, and it seemed like whenever I tried to log on here there were loggin issues/posting freezes/all sorts of random stuff.
Going to be updated shortly with what I'm up to these days. Trying to make my own basic purchasing website because Etsy is just... not working for me as the dealer. Figuring out claiming as a soul proprietor business and shipping deals with the post office. Getting ready for the start of convention season. Working full time at a job I love and just returned from a 3 week vacation to the middle east to see my mum.
Here's to hoping I can keep my energy up and deliver!

my bosses were involved with each other, but now are not for the final and messy time, and I'm just tired of being held emotionally or monetarily hostage to the both of them! So I quite! Probably won't be paid for my last two gigs. Broke as fuck.
So if you were thinking about buying some of my product, now is the time, hahahahaha. Well I'll be posting a whole slew of stuff soon as I'm done having a little emotional breakdown.
Here's to hoping I get some nice temp office work or seasonal work ASAP. Momma's got bills to pay sugar!

THe only downside was the face painting fell flat on it's face and barely paid for it's table. I'll just make sure I am in a better area next year, as where I was there was very little traffic. Live and Learn!

Sorry I was inactive for a bit, I think I just burnt out emotionally for a little while and contracted a case of the BLAHS. I'm back now though and with great news!
#1.) Watch this space for fall and Halloween jewelry coming soon!
#2.) Laser cut wood and plastic jewelry will be joining my shop!
I'm super excited about the later, and am wondering if I posted some of the design ideas I'm starting with if anyone would be interested in pre-orders? These would be discount priced of course! This would allow me to make a bigger initial order with more colour options!
This would have the great benifit of:
- YOU get a jewelry piece you love at discount!
- Allows me to offer more colour options (my initial order right now would offer black plastic and plane or colour stained wood... but no other colour plastic)!
- You get to brag about having it FIRST! :D
- Allows me to make more designs in the initial go...
- ... which again offers you more selection!

Returning triumphant and Vaguely Sane
Posted 12 years agoAfter my journey trekking across Newfoundland in an RV with a bunch of crazy people I call my co-workers and painting kids at festivals I HATH RETURNED!
Might be a day or two before I start posting pictures again as I finally have the energy to re-arrange my craft corner and WOOOOooooww do I have a looooot of craft stuff. A lot. Oh my. But probably tomorrow I'll post up a few new things that I didn't update with last week while I catch up with orders made on my etsy while I was gone. Thank you so much everyone!
And do say hello if you want to have a chat! :D I swear I'm friendly and am not usually in the habit of sacrificing people to the elder gods.

Posted 12 years agoSo I'm off adventuring for a weekend again with the Face Painting crew! Here is to hoping it is not ANYWHERE near as disastrous and frustrating as the last time I did this. If it is... well they will be down their main painter other then their clusterfuck of a relationship selves. XD

Posted 12 years agoSo I had the realization I need to do fandom colour combo tentacles like whoa. Duh.
Harry Potter house tentacles with little scarves anyone?
I can't quite figure out things to do for avenger tentacles.. I mean yeah, Captain American would be red white and blue with a little shield or something... I am NOT fussing around with an arc reactor for Iron Man tentacles though. Fuuuudge that! Hmmmm.... the hulk wouldn't be any different then the Joker ones I already have and I don't really know what to do to make them truly HULK... and oh god hawkeye would have an arrow... don't know about Black Widow, Thor and Loki....
Maybe I'll just shelf those ideas for now... but Harry Potter House Tentacles are Happening dude. THEY...ARE... HAPPENING.

So my lack of activity is because it is currently to hot and muggy to do fuck all here. I don't mind heat, heck I LOVE heat.. but humidity just makes me bluuuuggg.
