"its 8am, after hours of dedicated pursuit for the perfect finished piece that you just sank your heart and soul into, you post it to your account for the world of your peers to see, judge, fave and comment. Some of us are even bold enough to set it up as print in hopes that someone somewhere will love it enough to buy it and hang it on a wall or t-shirt or website somewhere.
Days then weeks go by. Interest of your art takes its viral course as its passed from member to member on the site. Eventually its pace of views and faves slows and it becomes another notch on your gallery belt.
You move on to your next piece and start the cycle all over again. Before you know it a whole library of the work you vested time and effort into sits idly in cyberspace...collecting "digital dust". Now as an artist I get that growth is part of the artist evolution and this cycle is part of the process, it has been for decades.
But what if there was more?
What if there was another use for your personal artwork?
What if there was a place where your artwork doesn't go to collect digital dust?
What if people actually bought your artwork for more than just putting it on the wall or a t-shirt or a website?
what would you do with your personal artwork?"
My team and i took this into consideration and built a New App for answering that. The good news is since im the creative director, I get to pull some strings. If you're an artist and reading this, i'll let you use it for free, the real free. As an artist, you will get to make some money with your art too. If you luv art and want to help with testing, you can join the beta testing group free, The real free.
im looking for artist and testers over the next two week, your feedback will help shape this, so we need to hear from you guys on this too. leave a comment or send me an email justart27.tl@gmail.com. Artist, have some artwork picked out you want to place in the app, Warning! keep it sfw! this app is open to the public so we have to follow that rule. (for now)
if you want to do this, its simple:
1. go to the CN network site: https://cn.astihosted.com/welcome.ssp and make an account.
2. click on the C-Card app and make a card
3. send it out to me as a recipient. my email address is alindsey.ssk12[at]gmail.com
4. include username you made for the site and your FA username in the card, this way i can match you up.
5. after that send as many cards as you want to whoever. if your participating as an artist, get some artworks together that you want to post for use (600x800px). send them to alindsey.ssk12[at]gmail.com along with your paypal information so we can link it to your account.

Posted 10 years agoi seriously cant remember whens the last time someone made something for me. im not counting collabs because im involved in making it lol or art trades becuse i have to make something to get something!...i mean actual, just shuffled through my gallery's and found one of my characters and made something referenced art, or designed some sort of tribute fan art, maybe even a just because, anything?!?!? lol
im not sure why really. don't get me wrong i like making things for you guys, you like me making things for you guys lmao, and no, im not asking you to in some sort of passive aggressive manor either. it just occurred to me today so i thought i would have an out-loud thought. I will be doing the lines, mr washington will be doing the colors
- character can be sfw or softcore nsfw, view my commissions tab if your not sure what qualifies
- design will be done in our style, tony and tony keep a busy schedule so we wont have alot of time for fix this/fix that lol just trust us and provide references if possible. if you don't have a character then we will do something bad ass from scratch...yeah, we can do that.

1. any characters I want? : yes keep in mind more extensively designed characters will take more time.
2. can i have nsfw?: yes softcore as long as your over 18
3. how much creative input do i get? : you are allowed to pick the character and an outfit theme. that's about it, we take care of the rest. Trust in the creative process and consider it the tradeoff for the price lol.
4. can i create a character for you? : its possible if you trust us with free range on minimal input and few modifications.
5. references? : yes please lol they tend to help when i interpret it in my style.

here is how this will work.
1. pic a number between 1 and 99,
2. post the same number on this journal. this will be your raffle number.
3. on friday may 15 the mega millions drawing will take place. if your number comes up in the drawing on any of the balls you win a bust sketch!
4. in the event that no one wins i will hold the raffel again on the following Tuesday 19th drawing.
5. make sure you get your number in if you want to play.
6. one number per person, cant change your number once its posted.
BTW, a few things about the bust. Because I hav no idea how many of these I will owe, the winners wil get to chose only the following:

lost in translation!
Posted 10 years agoi was artistically born and raised on pencils and paper, most of my generation of artist were. keep in mind the digital artist didnt show up till somewhere in the mid 90s, but like most artist i grow lean and adapt. But for some reason, im still having trouble translating what i can do with a pencil, to what i can do on a wacom tablet!, its driving me nuts, i know...keep practicing...blah blah blah lol but am i the only one who has trouble translating skills when moving across mediums? I doubt it highly...but i still wonder some times.
