Another Moving to New Accounts Reminder
Posted 9 years agoI've...uh...managed to pick up almost thirty new watchers on this account since I began announcing my move to new ones, including 10 this week. xD Just a reminder for those people, and for all the others who aren't watching the new accounts, this one's gallery is becoming decidedly emptier. I've punched a substantial hole in the amount of artwork to be transferred and picking up the pace with the stories. It'll be empty of artwork within a month or so if not sooner, possibly two for the stories. Some of my most-favourited pieces have already gone over, chances are it's vanished from your faves!
Soooooooo...
For those who are here for the art -
For those who are here for the kinky stories -
Better yet, watch both!
Thanx,
~Jinx.

New Accounts, Exciting Plans, and Workin' Workin'!
Posted 9 years agoStill got a ton of people watching this account and not any of the others, particularly my new main account
, so gonna post this here too. I've sent out sporadic notices and have started the long task of leaving personal shouts on the profiles of watchers who haven't transitioned over yet to
and
, but yeah, know that the vast majority of the people who are most likely to read this journal have already done so, but will still give another reminder here to those that haven't. Would mucho appreciate it if you did! Though the stories will take longer than the artwork to transition over, within the span of the next month, this'll be an empty monument to Jinx 1.0ness and kept active purely to serve as a directional pointer to the new accounts so I don't get accused of art theft by those who see 'JustASliver' on artists' uploads of comms they've worked on for me.
But yeah, I'm chugging along nicely on the tidy little slew of commissions I have to work on. People such as
and
are going to get the first chapters of their comms this weekend, and I'm starting on the 'Rollplay, Roleplay' tabletop group comm too. XCOM has stalled again while I await some pieces of feedback, though to be fair to the other participants waiting for a continuation, I'm gonna give it until Monday and then I'll have to push on with it. Those who haven't seen the first action chapter and the links that I left on your shouts and if you get the chance to this weekend, would really appreciate it if you did. I'd like to tighten up that chapter too but need base feedback first. Aaaand as for next week, HSR01 and Aco are going to have stuffs tossed to them in the first half of that week, quite a bit in Aco's case!
As for the exciting plans I have to formally announce, wellll, I'm going to be posting those up on
, so if you want to hear them and have been following a certain personal project of mine beginning with E, then click that link and watch me there too if you haven't already!

Rollplay, Roleplay #TABLETOP RPG SESSION GROUP COM HUB#
Posted 9 years agoFriends and watchers,
As promised and while I'm awaiting feedback on the latest XCOM chapter, I wanted to go ahead and formally organise 'Rollplay, Roleplay', which I'm hoping will prove to be an entertaining group project to take part in! The six places for a party of players have already been filled by those who expressed interest in the previous interest gauging journal, so this is mainly for those participating to share details and what they hope to get out of the commission. If all goes well and as planned, will certainly be doing one of these again! Perhaps next time with a sci-fi setting. Who knows?
So yes, in Rollplay, Roleplay, it is I, Jinx Curi, who will be 'DM-ing' the session. As I stated, this will be very much a tongue-in-cheek type of story, with lots of affectionate prodding at tabletop gaming and fantasy tropes, which by now many of you have realised I enjoy doing, and also that there will be 'real world' and 'fantasy world' scene changes. One thing I wanted to state too is that the in-story tabletop game, 'Catacombs and Cacodemons', that your 'sonas and OC's will be playing will be loosely inspired by D&D, and not actual D&D rules. Actual game rules will only feature peripherally or as the subject of humour, dramatic tension, and characterisation. So you don't have to worry when you consider what class your 'sona will be that it'll be useful or consider skill builds or anything like that.
What I'd like those participating to do now is answer two questions and comment below.
1) Which adventurer class / archetype would you like to be? It doesn't have to be strictly a D&D one, and I'd like you to consider too the potential for drama, humour, and character moments rather than from an instinctual gameplay sense. If you have a favourite one though, please feel free to nominate it.
2) Would you prefer it to be a 'furry version' of the game, so your sona will be playing fantasy versions of themselves (e.g. wolf paladin, fennec thief, foxtaur mage), or playing familiar fantasy races (elf, dwarf, and so on.) Personally, I'm leaning towards incorporating sona's as the adventurers too, but I will abide by popular choice.
With the adventurer class choices, there are already a couple of pre-existing caveats. The classic fireball-throwing, spell book-wielding mage position in the party has already been claimed. Same with the classic sneaky thief. But, there's so pleeeeenty of other choices to go for. As I said, feel free to just make one up too.
Okay, now onto the cost of participation, I can see this stretching for a good three of my regular 2000 word chapters, so dividing that up fairly, the cost will be $10 each. Chances are though I'll let it run longer than that to make it a satisfying experience and include everything I want to. As you can imagine, there'll be a LOT of back and forth character dialogue and interaction, so pretty much every other paragraph will feature at least one character, so there's a lot of bang for your buck here. You can make payment to jinxcuri@gmail.com, as usual. When payment has been made, comment below too to let me know who has.
Oh, and for those who were interested in the scifi drop pod assault group comm, worry not, I'll be looking at that next within the new couple of weeks or so.
So yeah, let's hash out the deets on rollplay, roleplay!
Just to confirm, the six places are just reserved for those that pledged previous interest, not filled by someone else since then.

XCOM GROUP COMM NEW UPDATE - 'Turning the Tide Part I'
Posted 9 years agoPhew. This is pretty much hot off the press and has only gone through a cursory editing pass so there may be spelling or grammar errors to corrected - ignore them for now, I'll pick them up. But yis, to make it easier for those involved in my first group commission to find it and comment, I'll leave a link to the first half of the 'action chapter'. Its the first time I've written one of this scale before and had to juggle this many characters around, so tried my best to spread it out fairly amongst everyone, so hopefully I've done okay! The action isn't over yet though, there'll be another like it following this one and haven't played all my cinematic action scene cards yet. Please let me know if there's anything you're not happy about with it or would like changing.

Additional note: I'll be tinkering with the battle scene more, so this is very much a first draft.

NEW GROUP COMMISH: YOUR CHOICE! - Gauging interest (CLOSED)
Posted 9 years agoHi guys,
While I'm waiting for the last bit of feedback needed before pushing on with the XCOM mini-series commish, I wanted to just put some feelers out for the next ideas I have for one as I'd love to keep doing group comms. They're a lot of fun to do and while trickier with a large cast to juggle around and balance, they're an enjoyable challenge. I'll still be doing my usual Q&D's too, but for now, I have two new ideas for a group story commish and while I'll be doing both, I wanted to see which one you guys found the most interesting and wanted to take part in first. So this is a bit of a voting thing too, the one with the most numerous and enthusiastic pledges of involvement and interest will be the first I'll do. So, here we go:
ROLLPLAY, ROLEPLAY: (D&D / Tabletop RPG-themed commish).
This is an idea I've had bubbling away for a long time now and planned to bring to fruition for myself, but would make for a great group comm. With 'Rollplay, Roleplay' not only is there a 'sword and sorcery' fantasy world and adventure element, I also want to include a 'real-world' element too. So those involved will be cast as their fursonas playing a D&D-style tabletop RPG, and also AS the fantasy characters themselves. So it'll switch between the two perspectives, and I'm hoping for a strong humour element, incorporating lots of classic tropes from both fantasy RPGs, and the tabletop experience. So there might be a player who is a little bullish and just wants to smack things with their sword, the player who has juuuust a bit too much to drink and is all giggly and silly, the rules-lawyer, you get the idea and it'll hopefully strike a chord with roleplayers. Oh, I'm looking for a maximum of six for this, and it'll be one of my characters/myself DM'ing.
ASSAULT ON PARAXIS PRIME: (Military sci-fi / Drop pod Assault)
This is something I've also been planning to do, but want to give it a chance as a group commish. As with the XCOM commission, you'll be under the command of my battlesharksona, Jax Valkyr, and in a scenario closer to her own canon background. You'll be cast as members of her assault squad, dropping into an enemy hot-zone and there'll be MUCH action from the very start by its very nature. There'll be some world-building and character interaction and camaraderie, and possibly some mecha action for mech fans too.
So yeah, more XCOM group commissions will be done in the future, but for my next one, I wanted to throw open the doors and let my watchers choose what takes their fancy. If neither of these catch your interest, let me know too just what might. This is something I'll properly look at around...Wednesday or Thursday of next week, by which point I hope to have the remaining XCOM chapter drafts completed and taking final feedback and working on new stuff.
Let me know what you think!
Oh, and yes, I may consider doing some NSFW / adult group ones too, but for now, I'd really like to get these cool ideas brought to life and have as many cool peeps as possible part of them.
Thanks for reading!

IMPORTANT NEWS: MOVING AND NEW ACCOUNTS
Posted 9 years agoHi guys,
So yeah, after holding off for quite a while to mull over doing so, and see if FA introduce account renaming functionality, I've decided that I'm going to not only move to a new main account, but also split up what I do. I know this is going to be a minor annoyance for those used to only following me on one account or have done so very recently, but hopefully that won't stop you watching me on the new accounts. A couple of big reasons behind this decision is that my account name 'JustASliver' is very much a relic of when Sliver, one of my sharky OC's, was my main sharksona. It stems from his catchphrase, and I honestly envisioned only uploading artwork of him to this account. As you can see, that certainly wasn't the case! There's name confusion thanks to that, because my main 'handle' is Jinx / Jinx Curi, but I get called Sliver, Silver, Silv, and so on. I think a number of people assume too that I typo'd in the creation of my shark and / or account and it's supposed to be Silver, which is even more confusing! So yeah, name consistency is one big reason.
Second is that despite the inclusion of very handy folders to split everything up, I get the impression that people still just look at the main galleries and cycle through them. Which when you've a cluttered mess of artwork and stories like I have, makes it very difficult and time-consuming for people to find what they want to see. Those who want to see just artwork have to wade through my frequent story uploads between them. Those who're just here for the (kinky) stories have to do the same with artwork. So, I'm going to split off all my literary commission work into it's own commission account and migrate all but my personal stories over to that and take commissions from that one instead. I might do some cross-promotion between my two new accounts, but we'll see. I'll have headers and footers and profile links between the two accounts at the very least.
So, here we go:
jinxcuri
This'll be my commissioned artwork, personal photomanips, and personal stories account. Jax and shark stuff will be here too, know that's what a good portion of you who watch me enjoy the most. xD This'll be my 'main' account and the one I'll be most active on.
kinxcommissions
This'll be my 'business account' for literary commission work. All previous stories will be reuploaded here gradually after re-editing for contemporary Jinx writing skills consistency. All commission offers and slots will be offered here. Please continue to contact me here on justasliver regarding commissions for the time being.
I'll be posting shouts to all my watchers but would really appreciate it if you could take but a few seconds to click on them both and if you still enjoy what I do, to watch one or both of my new accounts. If you're here just for the art, watch JinxCuri. If you're here for the stories, Kinxcommissions. If both, then you know what to do.
I'll be posting up the usual 'I AM MOVING' ads into my gallery starting next week, and be reposting this journal several times over the next few weeks. So yeah, this is advance warning as I'm going to leave doing so until next Monday after getting the last few outstanding comms work completed and uploads, and then after that, the Great Migration of 2016 begins.
Thanks for reading!
Oh! Re the XCOM group commission. I'm just waiting for the last bit of feedback on the previous two chapters from bering before I push on with main meat of the story, the action segments. Don't want to push on too far ahead now until I have that final piece of feedback and the okay to do so. So bear with me on that!

Hello, Commander #XCOM Story Updates!
Posted 9 years agoThis is primarily a journal aimed at those involved in my XCOM group commission as the previous one was getting a little too messy and confusing with all the comments and which link is correct and current. I want to first thank all those involved for your tremendous enthusiasm and support for this group project. Thanks to that keenness, it's now been able to expand well out of the original scope and take the shape of a mini-series and tonight I've just put the finishing touches to the third chapter, second of the main 'Alien Terror' action segments. The next will be an all-out action extended chapter, followed by the planned epilogue.
I think some of those involved may not have seen the second chapter as the link might have become a bit lost in the comments on the previous journal, for those that haven't, you now have two new chapters to read!
Chap #1 Introduction: https://www.dropbox.com/s/7yo1lul2s.....ction.pdf?dl=0
Chap #2 Alien Terror Part I: https://www.dropbox.com/s/3qwdu080p.....t%20I.pdf?dl=0
Chap #3 Alien Terror Part II: https://www.dropbox.com/s/a0und3f89.....%20II.pdf?dl=0 (BRAND NEW 16.02)
Chap #3 is where I introduce ranks and callsigns, some of which I've picked out myself, some were supplied. One thing I've learned personally is it's rare that you pick your own nickname, you're often given one by others that just sticks, so tried to adhere to that principle. If anyone particularly dislikes the call sign I gave them, particularly Sigma, Bering and Dragonspike, let me know and we can work on something different. Same with ranks. I very much welcome all feedback so far and any suggestions or tweaks you have. Everyone is going to get their own little 'spotlight' moment of kick-ass action in the next chapter, in addition to the fast-paced back and forth dialogue that'll occur around it. Plenty of alien butt-kicking to go around.
Oh! I will seek feedback on a couple of things. Firstly, after a certain point in chapter three, I begin to use callsigns exclusively to refer to the characters involved. Would you prefer I use actual names (e.g. Jax, Kisha, Furian) if remembering all the call signs and who they belong to becomes confusing? Secondly, I don't use the actual real-world names for cities and locations, partly to emphasise the alternate nature of Anthro-Earth, and partly to avoid becoming bogged down in looking at street maps. For example, and borrowing from one of my own old RPG settings, London becomes Royale City. The British Isles become the Royale Isles. Does anyone object to that? Does it lose any impact, and would prefer I use actual RW names? Let me know.
Anyone else reading this and thinking 'Ahhh, but I want to be a part of this!', worry not. Once this one is completed, I'll be opening up slots in a new one for both returning veterans and new people who'd like to take part in an XCOM group comm of their own. Same with other themed group commishes.
For now though, thanks for reading!

Hello, Commander. #XCOM GROUP COMMISH SPECIAL# (CLOSED!)
Posted 9 years ago"In response to the alien threat, this council of nations has chosen to activate the XCOM PROJECT."
21/01 EDIT: Holy shizz, the slots went fast! Totally didn't expect them to be filled this quickly, so to accommodate some extra interest from others, I'm going to 'Long War' this bish up and it'll be seven to eight main characters, plus Jax. I will be running a second one of these though very soon!
22/01 EDIT: Calling this closed now, thanks everyone for your interest, and don't worry, will be opening up two more themed comms in two weeks time!
Yes, for those that managed to deduce from the paraphrased words used in my previous journal, from one of the XCOM: Enemy Unknown trailers, I am indeed going to be offering something I'm particularly excited about: My first group story commission of any kind and one that is XCOM themed - a series / franchise that I'm very passionate about. I'm looking for SIX bold anthros to step forward in the cause of defending the homeworld from the invading alien threat. I'm also looking for those wanting to fill out a handful of cameo / side roles. These six main characters will form the squad / fireteam that will embark on a dangerous mission. It may be one to thwart a terror attack, a UFO landing, or raiding an alien base. That I will ask for votes and preferences on - just what kind of mission you'd like me to tell a story about. Because this is a group commission and it's a first try, I'm going to selling the slots cheaply, $5 for each of the six main characters, and $2 for a cameo role. What would these cameo roles be? There'll be a bit of preamble and scene-setting before the main action scene and that's where those wishing to be other soldiers on the base catching a little R&R, scientists, engineers, XCOM comms staff and of course, someone to fill the boots of Central Officer Bradford communicating with the squad on the field. Each of the cameo roles will get a nice bit of literary limelight. But of course, it's the main six that will get the lion's share dished up equally between them.
Did I mention too that the squad will be commanded by none other than Major Jax Valkyr, my battlesharkysona? So there's an added incentive, Jax fans.
As a courtesy to my lovely watchers, I want to open this up to you first before offering the slots publically. If it proves popular enough, then I'll do more than one of these. This is primarily aimed at fans of the franchise but those new to it but curious, worry not! I'll ensure that you get plenty of context and it'll be an enjoyable action-packed blast to read and see your 'sona or OC star in. And don't worry, this won't be some quick and flimsy story, it'll be respectively large to make sure that everyone gets their own moment to shine. At least 4000 words. I'm going to put no limit on species, but just ask you to consider your sona in the context of the genre and military action movie nature of how the meat of the story will be written.
But that's not all! To aid you, I'm going to list some character archetypes and you can nominate one of them that you wish your 'sona/OC to slot into:
#1 The Joker
#2 The Silent and Brooding Type
#3 The One Eager for Glory
#4 The One who Dies Heroically
#5 The One with a Grudge / Seeks Revenge
#6 The Loose Cannon
These are just guides though! Please feel free to define how you want your character portrayed. Also, what as! Sniper, Assault, Support, MEC Trooper, Genemodded, etc. It might also be useful to get some idea of what era in the invasion you'd prefer this first one to take place: At the beginning with a relatively fresh team, midway through the invasion when the first MECs and Genemods appear, or battle-hardened and super-badasses towards the end. Let me know.
Just to sum up - SIX main character slots @ $5 each, and lets say...FIVE cameo slots @$2 each. You'll be under the command of my favourite battlesharky, Jax Valkyr. There'll be rich description, witty banter and moments of humour, suspense and plenty of intense XCOM action. Comment below and join the defense of Anthro-Earth.
This will be mixed in with my new worklog finally starting at the end of this week, providing I have enough initial interest without needing to open it up publicly. I'd love watchers and friends to fill these spots.
And finally, last thing I promise, this is also a watcher courtesy - pre-public offering of new Q&D slots. I'm sure you're all familiar with what I do now, the usual $20 Quick and Dirty fetish and adult stories, so if anyone else would like new ones of those before I open up publicly again, also comment below. I have a few new January comms on my new worklist already from Mephis, Attack1942, HSR01, so you'll be queued in after those.
So yeah, those interested, get commentin'!
RIP Alan Rickman
Posted 10 years agoIf losing David Bowie wasn't already bad enough, we've just now lost one of the great thespians and stars of screen and stage, Alan Rickman. Certainly one of the most multi-talented actors of our age and one with great vocal presence and personal charisma. We all know the movie roles he became most famous for and I very much enjoy too, but let's also remember his roots and where he began and continued to return to during his long career: narration, live performance, and theatre.

A mix of Jinx things (inc YCH signal boost)
Posted 10 years agoHello my lovely watchers and friends,
I hope you all had spiffy new year's celebrations and a fun and restful festive break overall. Really doesn't seem like five minutes since I was wishing everyone a happy holidays, I think that's symptomatic of just how swiftly this new year is moving along, 4th of the month already! I'm moving briskly along on commission work now, delivery of new finished chapters to everyone has begun today and will continue smoothly and daily for the rest of this week. Chiefly I'd like to highlight my rabbitfox bestie's YCH that she's running to raise some monies to help her with this years booster and microchipping for her infinity-nosed hound and pal, Snix. Not kidding with the infinity nose, her greyhound-salami (sure that's what Skye said he was, a salami mix, very sausage-y) mix doge has a seven feet long nose. It has to have a little unicycle attached to it otherwise he just topples forward and needs assistance to get back up. *nods sagely* But yes, if you want a very sexy solo piece of artwork, go here right now. It's currently only on SB and has a naughty toys theme. Tis for a good cause of doge healthiness!

Q&A Sesh: Which is your favourite(s) of my sona's and OC's?
Posted 10 years agoHi watchers!
I'm curious, though I kinda have a feeling already for what a number of you would answer, but, which one of my OC's and Sona's, or which ones if there is more than one, are your favourite(s)? Which one of them caught your eye initially and gave me your watch and attention? And if you don't mind saying too, why is hey/she/they your favourite?

Back to work! Treadin' the commission writin' trail
Posted 10 years agoToday I've started getting back into the groove of things and pushing on with my before-christmas comms and the first and second chapters of commissions will be hitting those awaiting them from Thursday and at a steady rate from then. Aiming to get the vast majority of them finished by the end of next week, same with a couple of single-shot stories and other chapters that just need the loose ends tying up on. Those that have already spoken to about getting new commissions started for, we'll finalise the details of those next week ready to begin the week after that. I'll be opening up new slots to everyone once my current queue has been worked through. ^^
Hope you've all had and still having a fine festive time and it's been a peaceful and restful one too.
Cheers.

Schedule took a bit of a nosedive - blitzing until xmas!
Posted 10 years agoHi guise,
I'll be deleting this after tomorrow so my previously schedule is visible, but yeah, I've ended up having to help out my parents more this year with festive preparations, my mom hasn't been able to get to get around as much as she usually does and my dad isn't all that well, so I've been doing a lot of the shopping and other preparations for them and that's had a knock-on effect on what i'd planned for today and over the weekend just gone. However, I've now got three clear days where I can blitz as hard as I can to get at least the first chapter of those waiting for them for their commissions (about three now) and second chapters to as many as possible along with a couple of other outstanding projects. Gonna do the best I can before the xmas weekend and then hit the ground running again on the Monday after. I'll also be responding to a couple of notes from those I haven't had the chance to do so with, tomorrow.
Hope your festive preps are going well, and thanx for reading.
Cheers,
Your friendly neighbourhood sharkskoon, Jinx.

Jinx's activity schedule for the next week (edited 23.12)
Posted 10 years agoHi watchers, and recent commissioners!
Wow, you certainly bowled me over with how eager you were for the grabbing commissions during my latest commission push! I'm supremely grateful, and except for specific requests now from past commissioners, I think I'll be closing up on taking any more until after Christmas is done and dusted and the new year begins. I'd like time to really push on a couple of personal projects too, chiefly the first novella of EROS anthology stories.
Without further ado, here's a rough outline for this coming couple of weeks. I'll refine it as I go along.
Today (Monday 14th) - Finishing off second commission for reddahak (COMPLETE)
Tue 15th - Delivering draft of first chapter of kinky jungle story to revanchiset( Complete)
Wed 16th - Delivering draft of first chapter of kinky corruption story to cipher-raid (COMPLETE)
Thursday - Written off due to assisting with family situation.
Friday 18th - Finishing draft of first chapter of kinky jungle story to rahka (COMPLETE)
Saturday 19th - Finishing draft of first chapter of kinky jungle story to dezblade - WIP
Sunday 20th- Time for re-evaluation and any rewrites, additions or editing needed to be done of week's chapters.
Monday 21st - Delivery of TC to HSR1 (COMPLETE), 1st chapter to Dez Blade (WIP)
Tue 22nd- Delivering draft of first chapter of kinky transformation story to a-lycotonum (WIP) and delivery of first chapter of kinky scifi corruption story to kishatashwood (COMPLETE)
Wed 23rd - Delivering draft of second chapter of kinky jungle story to revanchiset (WIP)
Ongoing around it: EC Next Chapter (currently revising and wargaming out future events)
I'm hoping to get second chapters to everyone before xmas day, and third and final chapters for those that need them shortly after that. Tomorrow is a little light for writing time as it's mine and cantdecideonausername's festive get-together and celebration for noms and gift exchanging. Same with Wednesday, though for family reasons. But as you can see, I'm going to bustin' to get your stories to you in as timely a fashion as possible.
Oh, I'm also picking up the pace of uploading of previous commissions to my gallery, so you'll see a lot of new content coming from me, along with new artwork. Something for everyone! Especially those sharkies and shark-fans in my watchers.
Peace,
~Jinx.

What Jinx is up to this week (revised 09/12)
Posted 10 years agoTue: Finalising commission for jaycen (COMPLETE)
Wed: hammerstriker001 (COMPLETE)
Thursday: Finalising commission for a-lycotonum (COMPLETE) and kishatashwood (COMPLETE)
Friday: Finalising third part of commission for attack1942 (COMPLETE) and Melody Melizee commission. (COMPLETE)
Saturday and Sun: EC Chapter for :a-lycotonum: (WIP)
Monday: Beginning work on new commissions from this week.
This weekend I ended up just needing to take a complete break from writing after hitting a bit of a wall with it and it did me a world of good and today I've been feeling the usual excitement and enjoyment and feeling itchy to do some more right after I finished today's scheduled stuff. I haven't really hit that wall this year of not being able to put words on a page without tremendous effort and feeling totally out of this, but it's horrible when it happens and you just can't write no matter how much you want to. This morning I woke up and that crushing weight I felt over the weekend and tried to stave off with the Jax story had lifted and I had my usual brain full of ideas and inspiration and eagerness to just sit down and type like crazy. So yeah, finishing off the tiny smidgen of outstanding commishes over the next few days now, and opening up new slots tomorrow. Gonna be hitting y'all like a freight train with both new and old themes and slot types to raise a bit more xmas gift monies.
Ciao for now!

Ps2 classics launching on PS4! Rogue Galaxy: YES!
Posted 10 years agoSony are going to score a PR coup with this and the way they're going about it. Setting a decent price point to buy the games and not linking them to PSNOW was already a smart move, but going one step further and adding 1080p upscaling and some other little features seems to point that they're giving these games the porting love they deserve. Launching with one of the last great RPG of the PS2 and one I'm sure everyone clamoured for when they asked which games people most wanted is also a wise decision. I own a copy of RG for my trusty PS2, but at £9/$15, I'll certainly be making an investment into this new version to see it (hopefully) shine even brighter.
For fellow PS4 owners, which now rare games or treasured PS2 games would you hope to see offered up in th coming months?

What Jinx is up to the rest of this week & new commish slots
Posted 10 years agoFinishing off commissions for barisaxophone77, attack1942, jaycen and kishatashwood, is what! I'll be throwing second parters over the next couple of days to the first three, with third parts following closely behind, and a complete story to Kish, and also one for Melody Melizee.
I've held off on finishing some of these while I've taken some time out to have my head buried in grammar and sentence structure studies and exercises and tightening up on both. So while there's been a bit of a delay, I've put the time to good use and it'll show in your stories. But yeah, by the end of this week, I'll only have a couple of bits left to complete on Monday, primarily for hammerstriker001 and then I'll be opening up what might be the last bunch of slots of the year.
Watchers, and past commissioners are welcome to comment below and pre-emptively grab slots for new Q&D's or continuations of past stories from me right away though before I (finally) open up some new public ones. These will not be started though until the beginning of next week.

A Jinx Thanksgiving, 2015 Edition
Posted 10 years agoHi friends and watchers!
Wow, I can't remember if I did one of these last year, I feel I might have, but the end 2014 was just a crazily busy and chaotic time. But yes, this year I feel I have especially good reasons to give thanks and reflect on the year in general.
1) Volcanic eruption under writing.
Holy shizz, this has gotta be the biggest development for me to be thankful of this year. As it stands (and I still have many to upload), I have written just shy of 150 stories or chapters in the past 7-8 months. Particularly in the last six, ever since I launched my 'Quick & Dirty' slots, and I'm still going strong on it, with no sign of burnout in sight, which I have truly feared. So thank you, you wonderful people, who have commissioned me, and those people who continue to do so time and time again. <3
I'm particularly thankful to one person in particular - a-lycotonum. Aco was one of the very first people (the second in fact!) to commission me, way back in May of last year, and has continued to do so on a very regular basis. Aco gave me the confidence in the first place that I could make a go for writing and his support and enthusiasm has meant a great deal.
This year however, I have people such as jaycen, kristen, hammerstriker001, rahka, barisaxophone77, attack1942, fangzahn who have further boosted my confidence with very helpful critique, advice, and return commissions. Thank you all. <3 Kristen and Rahka especially have been invaluable in helping me realise places where I can improve.
I have a few bigger plans in the works that will hopefully take off next year, including publishing my first novella! Stay tuned for more info on that particular development.
2) Friends, new and old - honoured mentions
This year, as in all previous years, I'm especially thankful that I have cantdecideonausername in my life. Skye and I sometimes drift away for a little while, but we always come back and stick together like chicken glue (in-joke xD). I'd be completely lost without her, and consider her as close as family. <3 Even though she calls my sharks fish dinners! You have no idea of the baleful eye she cast at my sharks when I first got bit by the shark bug a couple and a half years back. xD But yeah, thanks for being a central and deeply important part of my life, Skye! ^_^ Curiskye forever. <3
This bit of thanks is a very recent one, and someone I'm super glad to have stumbled across, this person being none other than tsundere.kitty. Tsun and I have become super-good friends in a crazily short amount of time, and she's just a rather awesome person and a very talented artist. Just look at the picture of Inconnu she did, in my highlighted gallery pic! She's doing another one like that for me too. <w< Can't wait! But yeah, check out her gallery, cause she deserves all the artsy appreciation!
This year I've grown closer to someone else, nautilusta, who I was more a casual friend of previously, and is still one of my absolute favourite artists. Collieface is just a very kind and awesome personage and I'm thankful that we have become such good friends. ^^ Don't believe she's as innocent as she makes out though, this is one lewd collieface. xD (Okay, I'm teasing, but only a little!)
lurigofreefox - Lurigo is my techie and PS2 appreciating bud, and always fun to chat to. Not only is he a technomancing fox, he's also a very talented artist and has recently unleashed a wave of awesome inktober sketches into his gallery, including one of Jax Valkyr, so check 'em out!
kishatashwood - Kish is a great friend, always friendly and thoughtful and fun to chat to, even though I tend to drift in and out of their life more often than most. I'm very glad to call this green striped shark a friend this year though. ^_^
jeanwoof - Yellow is just one of the most imaginatively talented people I've ever met, and a super cool person to boot. Her themes for artwork are always some of the most interesting and she rocks a personal art style that I really dig. She's totally one of my go-to people whenever I want to commission someone, and a great friend to boot. <3
For everyone else a part of my life and brings a little ray of personal sunshine to it, thank you!
3) Ain't gonna lie, I'm thankful I have a PS4. xD
Phew, that just about wraps it up! Much to be thankful this year, perhaps more than in any other year I can remember. Everyone, enjoy your delicious meals and good company and have a very fine turkey day!

Two days of DIY - Full steam ahead on commishes tomorrow
Posted 10 years agoHey y'all,
Just to let you know, especially those that have commished me, that I've had to bring forward some painting and redecorating work ahead a couple of days and been doing that yesterday and today, due to the weather turning cold and nasty and can feel one coming on myself, so while I can write pretty well with a cold, painting and decorating in cold conditions and with one is no fun at all. So yeah, couple of days delay, but over the next four days, going to be hitting everyone waiting for them with the first chapters of their respective stories that are waiting for them, most likely over the next two days.
Gonna be posting up piccies of part of the fruits of my DIY efforts in my apartment, definitely feeling fur and geekily cosy now. xD

Three Days! That's all that's left now!
Posted 10 years ago...I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. Poor old New Vegas slipped out with nary a fraction of the hype that Fallout 4 has been engendering - though with good reason, it looks ace! I'm happy to say that my copy is ready and waiting to be posted to me for release day. The Fallout series has meant a lot personally to me, and through circumstances I missed out on being able to play Fallout 3 for a good year and a half after release before I finally did, so for this next major instalment, I was damn well going to have it to hand this time! Easily my most-anticipated game this year.
So what say you, fellow Fallout fans? Pull up a gently rotting chair and crack open a bottle of Nuka Cola, and share your own anticipation for F4, fond fallout memories and what your thoughts are on the tidbits of information and footage released so far. (Please note that I have not seen, nor wish to see any leaked footage of the game before hand, so bear that in mind.)
It's quite a bit buried in my gallery, so wanted to highlight this piece of Fallout art I commissioned earlier this year before the news of F4 broke at E3 from two very talented artists: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16066162/. Warmed my heart to see my huskoon in such a theme!
Ahh forgot about the one of Jax too, in Falloutness xD http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16975758/

But, to those watching me and have never commished before for one of my Q&D's (now passing their 40th!), then I'll invite you to do so now before they go public, cause they go pretty quick. Same with those who have commished me in the past, and may have been waiting for me to announce new slots! These ones have been really popular, so I'll give you a reminding gander through them, since I'll be running them again:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17931149/ (old favourites!)
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17914019/ (cyberdawg sexiness)
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17913771/ (naughty plants - have proven to be very popular!)
(Just as a reminder, all single-shot Q&D's are now $20 instead, smaller discounts still apply for 2-3 chapters)
These are just imagination teasers, so as always, if you have a completely different idea you want me to explore for you and different kinks and fetishes, lay 'em on me, brah! Always open for custom stories.
Peace!
