The rush towards Anthrocon
Posted 9 years agoWith all prior commissions done (They should be posted up the same day as this journal) It's on to the rush for Anthrocon.
With Sallie Mae wanting 10 pounds of flesh from me each month, basically all of my paycheck goes to them and bills. So if I want to go to Anthrocon, I have to earn the money through commissions.
I have lofty weekly goals, I'm open for commissions, and to make sure there is no backlog, you don't pay until you receive the commission. That way I'm not lazy like I have been.
So I'm open for business.

2016 convention plan
Posted 10 years agoFursonaCon March 18-20th.- Definitely going, It's 10 minutes from my house, so I won't need to arrange travel or hotel.
BLFC- Most likely not. It would run me at least $1000 to attend. I'd need to have a sudden massive uptick in commissions.
FurTheMore- Attending. Still waiting to see if Demitri can attend that / Anthrocon, so travel and hotel are iffy, but it's certainly in the budget.
Anthrocon- Most likely attending, this relies a bit more heavily on Demitri, though I do have one backup plan set up. This is generally what I use my tax return on, so not worried about the cost.
MWFF- A giant pipe dream, but I will see how the year goes. If everyone bails on Anthrocon, might just keep saving money and attend this alone as a new adventure.

Omni Hotel I believe. One right next to the main convention.
How are you traveling?
By car! 9 hours... yay...
What day are you getting there/How long are you staying?
I'll be getting there Wednesday and leaving Monday

Where will you be? How is the best way to find you?
Mostly in the zoo or in the dealer area. If I get a table for the artist alley I'll be there mostly.

I'm not aware of what panels are running this year, but I will be attending some.
