SO... sad news...
alot of you may know that my only published book (i say only as in only published through an actual publisher) was nominated for four awards near the end of last year.
Well, the announcement of the awards came and went, and sadly... I didn't get any of them... at all. Wasn't even in the long or short list... whatever that means...
So... yeh... honestly? I'm pretty damn depressed about that right now...

As a fair few of you know by now, I've got a book published through an amazing, kind, helpful publishing company known as Shawline publishing, who also run Shawline Publishing Group if anyone is interested, as well as https://www.shawlinepublishing.com.au . My issue, however, is that I have no proper ideas for how to get my book out there by myself, since I've already tried getting it in news/media, as well as giving bookmarks to shops relating to the book, as well as other options too. From my point of view, it feels like I've done everything I can to market/advertize it, and I'm not sure what other ways I can do it. I also never know how to talk to reviewers or book groups because, for some reason, I start feeling nervous whenever I try. I'm even trying to start a secret code/message solving mystery on youtube relating to marketing my books more, as well as starting on something which i hope will be happily accepted. I cant really go into much more detail about it, otherwise it would spoil the surprise. But I guess what I really would like is help. Word of mouth, people posting on FB, Twitter or other places, or trying to maybe find things that might help me get my book out there more are all accepted. I'm a little scared/ nervous about talking to strangers online because I never know what to say, so... if anyone could help me out with figuring out how to approach these things better, that would be great.

I would like to start an OFFICIAL Book Theory channel on youtube (since there are just fake ones on youtube), where people can tell me about stand alone or series and their theories regarding any element about that said book. I got the idea after seeing how popular 'game theory' on youtube is and that there does seem to be a lot of people out there interested in a book theory channel. However, for this to work, I can't do it alone. I'll need fans of series or standalone books to tell me about their theories as well as show some evidence towards that theory (thats how game theory works too). I'm happy to check out books myself for this too, as I already have a few ones for Chronicles of Narnia or Harry potter, but the more help i get behind it the better. So if you think you have a book theory about well known or even not so well known books, let me know and show me some evidence you've collected, and I'll do both a youtube video about it as well as put something on this page about it too

My second story, The Rochester Runes, is on Inkitt in a contest at the moment, and it needs reviews and starts to be noticed. That's why I need as much support and assistance in getting the book more notice there, because the more popular and more reviews it gets, the more chance the book could have to actually being properly published, rather then being quite... you know... boringly independently published on amazon where no-one takes notice of it.

this coming Monday I intend on giving it a trial run. My idea is that I'll have my picarto stream going, and those who are involved will each have their own google documents set up. Then the people who have these documents set up will allow me to look at their documents, sharing them with me in the way gdocs work, and I will then have a look at what the people have written and give my feedback, as well as maybe give examples on my own writing document about how they could fix it. If there's issues or breakthrough moments, I will have little pictures pop up of Chester and Micklang, to help the people realize that there's no harm in either making mistakes or getting stuff right. essentially I'll be a teacher, in a way, so that I can help you guys be better at writing.
So, I would like a list of people who are interested in trying it out. You'll need two things: google documents and access to picarto, skype, or discord.
