So sorry, everyone + New YCH coming!
Posted 2 months agoJust wanted to apologize for the delay on my end on posting new drawings or YCHs.
I've been extremely unmotivated, my drawings have been taking far too long to finish and I've been way more frequently outside of the headspace I need to be to draw and it's extremely frustrating.
I've been doing some small commissions to friends because they're incredibly nice and patient with me, so they're at the very least able to tolerate my tardiness, but I've been wanting to get back to doing YCHs and I have a pretty big one incoming: It'll be 3 versions of the same drawing during different types of day, so different mood and lightings, with several slots! I miss doing big YCHs so hopefully this can ignite my will to draw stuff again, just need to finish some commissions and then some final touches on it and it'll be posted HOPEFULLY this month!
I would also like to clarify again, because I'm seeing SO MANY scammers going around: If you've seen someone try to impersonate me, let me know immediately! I never contact people asking for art or commissions, and when I do contact people it's NEVER outside of Fur Affinity, always remember to triple check the pages of whoever is sending the message to avoid these people, ok?

Posted 4 months agoI am seeing so many more journals about scammers impersonating the actual artists, so just for some extra security on my end, let me just say my own piece here:
I do NOT have any social media outside of the ones listed in my own profile page, and mostly so I only ever contact people through FA notes, so if someone contacts you somewhere else, it's NOT me.
I also RARELY do commissions, if any, and I even take time between YCHs, I'm an incredibly moody artist which is why I always feel more comfortable working with friends (and why I mostly just upload stuff with them), but on the occasional times I open up YCHs, please ALWAYS make sure the person you are contacting is indeed me and not a fake.
I know I'm probably screaming into a wall here, but as they always say: Better safe than sorry.

Just a quick heads up: I'll be going on vacation on the 19th, and I'll only be back around the 12th or so of next month, which is why I've been avoiding posting any new YCHs and such because I was afraid of piling up stuff while I was gone x.x but once I'm back, there'll be more stuffs, I already have plenty ready!

Posted a year agoHeyo! I'm finally back from vacation!
So, while out there, I've been thinking a lot about how I wanna proceed with my work here..
In these past months I've entered what's probably the worst burnout I have ever had, on top of looking back and noticing how a lot of things I wanted to do outside of FA were also slowed down a lot simply because I keep on trying to focus too hard on what would work here or not.. So I made a decision: I'm still going to keep posting things normally, YCHs, comissions and whatnot, but I'll take my own time with them and not worry too much about needing to post them ASAP or what could or would work.
In other words: I wanna go back and drawing things I like on my own pace, and I do have an idea on how that could work and I'll have something to post sometime in the near future!
For those that I still owe some sort of commission, gift or anything like that, I haven't forgotten, they're coming so don't worry!

Posted 2 years agoI've been debating with myself over the past weeks or so if I should do a holiday YCH or not, and I've had one that was sort of in the works, but I ultimately decided not to.

Posted 2 years agoSome personal stuff is happening IRL that's messing with my mood, on top of the weather being very harsh all over which makes blackouts much more frequent.. I'm getting scared of working and afraid of losing progress on my art or worse...
Sorry I'm not the most active artist on the platform, I have lots of stuff to do like trades, gift arts and new YCH ideas I wanna do but because of all of this it gets hard to even get on the right mindset to work.
I'll try to speed things up once it gets better and show some cool stuff here!

Small Unexpected Hiatus

I've been enduring a problem with my computer since last year, I've been getting random blue screen errors out of nowhere that keep getting in the way of my work... I keep losing progress, I keep getting frustrated, I cannot even stay here in the computer to enjoy some off time anymore, sometimes I feel like not even turning the damn thing on anymore... It's being incredibly stressful to say the least.
I've decided I had enough after last night I got over literally 3 blue screens in a row and decided I'm going to take some time off to try and fix the computer, I'll be putting all of my files somewhere and send it for repairs to figure out what's wrong, as I've tried everything I can on my own without success.
Until then, I'll keep trying to get some stuff working for when I come back, mainly a raffle for all of you (which I've been asking your opinion in another journal!), and then go back to work on some other stuff!
I apologize for not being as fast as other artists when it comes to pumping out new things in here, but that's a big part of the reason why, which hopefully will make me want to be more productive once it's over x.x'
