Posted 15 years agoDoes anyone else feel like every time FA reaches another million submissions, we enter some kind of new era, like it's a new decade or something? Everything began with 3s for so long and now we're in the 4s, if we had to fill in forms there'd be a couple of weeks transition where we'd keep writing 3 by mistake. Y'know?

Heading for an ABSOLUTE DISASTER
Posted 15 years agoI SWEAR TO GOD, my upcoming trip to North America started out with utmost positivity, everyone was laughing like OH JYM, YOU DA KING OF CRAAAZEH, and I'd say, don't believe the hype, see it for yourself, IN NORTH AMERICA.
But THEN CAME THE NEWS. BBC News to be precise, let me link you to numerous pages that are SLOWLY DESTROYING MY SOUL.

For anyone who isn't aware, if there's ash, you can't fly, foxes don't get to AC, dem's the rules. The worst seems to be over but it keeps coming back and no one can be 100% until they're on their flight.

The current strikes are due to end on the 9th June, which is alright because I'm flying on the 23rd but you never know when they'll call more. Again I won't be happy until I'm on board.

All this is keeping me suitably concerned about my trip, but chances are everything will turn out fine.

ARGH. Any one of these stories would be a concern for my trip, but ALL OF THEM? AARRGH.

Posted 15 years agoIt's true! I haven't thought of a name for it yet but it's shiny and grey and I contacted a scientist who said it's easily worth $5,000/oz. With this information I got in touch with the Queen who said 'Clearly it's more valuable than platinum, but it's not as pretty as gold, and for that reason, I'm out.'
Still I am hopeful for future investments so I can finally afford to get out of this GODDAMN FANDOM.

I'm thinking about getting a room at the Westin while I still can, but with no one to room with it'd be a very short-sighted plan so WHO'S JOINING ME? SAY YOUR OWN NAME NOW.
ADVENTURE UPDATE: I totally got a room at the Westin and ideally I'm looking for 3 or 4 people to share it with. If you are interested in sharing the joy then let me know, though I am still open to the idea of having a room to myself and building a fort out of the two beds. One so elaborate the maids wouldn't know where to start.

2. I do not run out of CARDS/MONEY.
