I could use a hand to know that the magic of story still works its way among the folks of the modern world. I've always believed in the strength of oral history and written tales, but it's hard nowadays to keep that belief alive. Truly, somewhere, there must be a place and a person still inspired by hearing tales of fancy.

Does the magic still burn bright in this world? Do the walk ways of the written word still have faerie light to guide the world's weary wanderers? Do we, the wayward waifs of the wasting weal, still have what wherewithal we would need to see fit to getting what we want?

I hope, dear friends, that we do. For our hearts yearn for the word and words burns within us, lest hope shall be extinguished.

Made a few minor edits to Step 11 of On the Rise. If you've already read it, it's not a big change, but all the changes are on pages 9 and 10, so if you wanna go see what's different, you'll know where to look. :3

So, in a bit of a pinch for some money. I'm up for doing a few small writing commissions. Schreibkriegs are open for anyone; $10 a piece for all interested.

To elaborate on this: Schreibkriegs are done by dropping me a list of songs that's approximately one hour long. I do a separate piece of writing to each of the songs. Just give me a few details about what you might or might not want in it and I'll pump out what I can for you. Just please try to ensure most songs are at least 1:30 long. X3 Little hard to write anything worth while in less time than that.

Mostly just to get the Christmas/Hogswatch journal off of my front page. I'll be going to SakuraCon this year again! Yay! I'm also dragging a few other folk with me. You know. The cooler kids. :B

I hope the lot of you have been good little mortals this year and that you left out some delicious treats for the jolly old Hogfather to feast upon! Traveling the world in a night through time warping dimensional instances is a draining task indeed, I'll have you know.

Because someone mentioned this to me, I've a question for those watching me. If any of you have read my Schreibkrieg, does it seem like something you might commission me to do? You choose a list of roughly an hour (give or take a few minutes) of music and I write to it as I did with my own writing exercise. Does this seem like something plausible? Would any of you pay about $10 to get something like that?

Well, I have been failing at inspiration to finish writing anything due to a number of factors I won't go into. So, I'm feeling a tad stuck. To help with this, tomorrow I'll be performing a writing exercise wherein I've randomly compiled approximately one hour worth of music into a play list. Now with the list saved, I'll start up the list and start writing whatever comes to mind as I listen to the music. When one song ends, I stop writing and start something new with the new song.

This should be interesting. Once this is done, I'll post up what was done along with the list of songs. Posted normally at first, the Schreibkrieg will later be moved to my scraps. Hoping all turns out for the best.

Pink and I are working on new chapters again finally and I got the inspiration to start writing more that I so badly needed... Ah, it feels good to actually have the drive to write again. Of course, having a definitive story and another person working on it with you to push you to do better helps. Thus far, working with my co-author over at http://xxxpink-kittenxxx.deviantart.com/ has been great. We plan on taking this story, On the Crossroads of Fate, all the way to its end.

It does, in fact, tie in with the Sea'an story, so this will hopefully drive me to write more of that and hopefully Pink will be helping me flesh it out better, too.

Snow. Short days and long nights. I seem to function better at night than I do during the day for some reason :S

Socks. Though sometimes I like bare feet.

Not usually, but if I’m around my friends or if it’s just one on one, I can talk decently. Mostly I just listen, especially if there’s more than one other person around.

Some rice with garlic salt in it that my room mate made for us.

Nothing really. I’ve worked at a fast food restaurant for over four years now. Eating out almost anywhere is pretty much the same as eating in for me. I mostly do it cuz I’m too lazy to make food at home and also because I get free food at work.

I FUGGING LOVE COFFEE!!! Actually, due to my caffeine addiction, if I don’t drink coffee when I wake up, I start to get headaches and suffer from nausea, though the withdrawal isn’t nearly as bad as it was in highschool.

I usually drink a glass or two of water at home and then three or four bottles of water at work and another glass of water after I get home.

Nope. I’ve always just been driven to the doctor/hospital by my mom.

Pool, if only because they TEND to be cleaner.

Not that anyone really missed me, I'm sure, but I'm back from a long-ass vacation. Yay! Well, one person would've missed me, but he was where I was vacationing, so... Yeah.

Digital camera went back to my loverly Guxx, so I hope to soon buy my own cam. Maybe in the next month or so and I can start snapping photos of my paint jobs again. In the mean time, I'll try to make more stuff to take shots of.

Eh, wish I could be uploading more pics of the models I been working on lately, but I no longer have a digital camera. Awell, I guess that means when I eventually buy one (in a month or two), I'll just have to make some collages of new stuff.
