So, I'm feeling a little dumb and disappointed in myself. For the past year or two, there's been signs for a missing dog up in my area, and about half a year ago, my sister and I found the dog out by someone's house, we knew it was the lost dog and knocked on the door of the house and told the guy the dog got out. We asked if it was the missing dog, he said yes, called the dog by name, called it back inside and we thought that was the end of it. Well it wasn't so simple. He said he forgot to take down the signs and we put it out of our minds. Driving home from work, saw the signs were changed to "WHO STOLE OUR DOG?" and my sister and I immediately realized our mistake. The guy lied. He stole the dog and lied! We called them today to try to get the real owners reunited with their dog, and had officers come out to search the house, but there was no sign of the dog or the man. We could've saw a dog home safe, but we trusted the guy.

I know I couldn't have known the fellow was lying and hindsight is always 20/20, but it just feels back to know it slipped through our fingers when we could've helped.

Hello everyone! lol Yes, I know, two journals in a week? It's almost like I'm becoming social! lol I promise I won't bother you all too much more this week, but last night I promised I'd announce my resolutions for the New Year! I did fairly well in keeping to my goals last year, more or less! No, dad's still smoking, and my alarm clock broke so I've been waking up rather sporadically, but I've done a decent job with my diet, exercising, and for awhile, I was quite good there with Youtube. I'm going to try to continue with some of these, and add a few new ones in! So without further adieu, here's what I've got for 2019

Infinity Quest Book Ah yes, my novel which will have been looming over me for 15 years in April. Since my stronger computer crapped out, I tried to meet my deadline of the end of December 2018 on my much older computer. That didn't happen, much to my annoyance. So here's my plan, For the rest of the Month of January (February at the latest) I'm going to focus on getting through the last 3 Chapters that need done, then through February/March through to August I'm going to go through the much older and earlier Chapters, touch them up and fix the ones that were damaged when the file was nearly lost last year, and look into having the novel out before the end of the year. I'm going to write out a schedule for it and see if that helps, but I think the calmer work plan will help me ease the rest of this out without stressing myself to death. Here's to hoping this is my LAST YEAR WORKING ON EPISODE ONE! I know when I get it done, I'll be able to belt the others out much faster. It's just hard to condense this universe I've been working on so long down to a point where I can start at.

Infinity Quest Art This one is fairly straight forward, but I want to start uploading more art and content about my universe than just the little bits I've trickled online thus far. I have a desk full of old pictures, concepts, designs, and notes of many years that need touching up, but I'd like to get more out to share with all of you! This includes more species, starships, robots, technologies, landscapes, animals, and a few comics. I've been wanting to do a comic for awhile now, so we'll see what form that takes!

Violin I want to start practicing my Violin at least once once a week to actually get good at it. If I get decent enough, I wouldn't mind showing off at Megaplex in August.

Consistency This is something I've had issues with for AGES. Inktober last year was a good example that I CAN keep to a schedule and even produce art daily if I put my mind to it, so I'd like to start getting a more consistent schedule sometime in this new year. If I can get this ideally, it will be Youtube Videos Monday and/or Friday, Artwork Tuesday and/or Thursday, and Live Streaming on Wednesday. I'm hoping if I can get into a swing, I can actually get into a habit where I can actually start keeping up with some of my ideas for content instead of sitting atop a mountain of unfinished works and ideas I don't have time to start. If I can, I'd also like to start writing end of the week/beginning of the week journals to stay in touch.

Exercising I've lost 53 Pounds in total so far, taking me down to like 213 or so, so I'm not quite at last year's goal, but I'm happy with the results thus far and want to press my advantage. This means, back to Yoga, back to cold showers and meditation, Treadmill 6 days out of the week, weight lifting every other day, pushups every night, and Hot/Cold training. I want to get in my best shape yet by the end of the year!

Personal And finally, here's just a few that are lumped together that I'd like to try to get done for improving myself this year. 1: Brushing my Teeth Every Day, I'll be honest, I often get distracted and don't make the time. 2: Spend 30 Minutes a Day Reading, because I own a lot of books I've never touched. 3: Finish Up the Pictures I Owe From That Raffle, because my novel sort of ate up a lot of that time, and 4: I'd like to try to get over 250 watchers on one of my accounts, because in the years I've been online, I think that's about the maximum amount of people I've ever had interested enough in my content to want to see more. It might be selfish of me, and don't get me wrong: I appreciate each and every one of you, but I want to know that I'm at least interesting enough to go farther.

Well, that's everything for now! And to round this Monster off, I'm going to put my To Do list at the bottom of this journal to remind me of the things I have to do yet.

Ah, rest well 2018; surrendered to the annals of memory to slumber with many before it. I will regard you and all my memories within fondly! Happy New Years, and God Bless you all!

So I wanted to write something tonight, for everybody who watches me. I really hope I'm not bothering you or taking up too much of your time, because honestly I don't know how long this is going to be. But what it will be, is as honest from my heart as possible. I don't update as much as I should with journals. I find it hard to consider a lot of what I think interesting, and more often than not, I think I'm a pretty boring guy. I know I don't upload as much as I should, art takes an enormous investment of my time, and it always burns me at how long it takes me to produce a single picture. I was amazed when I realized that I actually had what it took to get through Inktober. And I know I'm not the best artist by any stretch of the imagination. I tried Youtube, but I've hit a stall there and sort of fizzled out, so my uploading schedule is sporadic at best. I WANT to produce more, I want to create more and feel the way I do, and the way I did, when I'm producing creatively. I've noticed one of my biggest issues is ideas. I have this ugly habit of over complicating almost everything, it's like I can't think small. So when I end up blowing these ideas up into this complex monstrosity that I can't possibly do, I'm left there with these intentions and ambitions, but nothing to show for it. So my content sputters and stalls. I want to do these blockbuster things, but I've not learned the basics yet...

But then, even in spite of all that, despite all the fizzles, the dry spells, the alright-at-best content, and everything, you're here. You're reading this and you're giving me a chance. And while it might seem like I'm being down on myself, I want to clarify that I'm not. It means the world to me that you're here! You like my ideas, or me, or whatever it is that made you click that watch button, and every day I see 30 watchers or followers, I see 240, or I see 10, 20, or 2, it let's me know that it's worth getting up every day. It's worth making the time and trying to make a new video, or work on a new picture, or just take the time to keep practicing. You've given me your time, your conversation, and your friendship. It's a cliche anymore to say it, but I'm going to, because with every fiber of my soul, I believe it; I love all of you. You, the unique treasures that you and the rest of the sum of mankind are, are here with me. Every comment and conversation, every fave, every view: thank you all! I try my best to keep you in my prayers every night, there's room in my heart for all of you, and I love you for being you. Thank you all so much, you fill my heart and leave me wanting for not. Since I cannot offer a Christmas picture, I want you to know that you will always have my admiration and deepest love, even when I don't know what to say. Even when my ideas or words don't come out right. Never worry that you'll make me mad at you, or that you can't talk to me. For your time, for being a part of my journey in life, I'm in your debt.

To everyone, you, your families, and your friends, Merry Christmas. Always be true to yourself, and foster every ounce of love in this world. It's been good to me, and I hope that you get that good will in spades! The only thing that can ever truly hold you back in life, is yourself. I just wanted to let everybody know tonight that I'm proud of you. You're doing the best you can, and if not, you still have tomorrow to try again. The other day, my friend had to make a tough call. She does not live above her means and I can assure you most sincerely that she is a wonderful human being. She has never been anything other than kindly and decent in all of my interactions with her over the years. She was in an ugly situation which no pet owner wants to find themselves; having to pay an insane vet bill to provide life saving surgery for her puppy, or keep money in her account for groceries. Obviously, she chose to save her pup's life, but now she needs to recover her funds so she doesn't overdraw her bank account. To sweeten the pot, and because she's an outstanding person who doesn't want to feel like she's taking advantage of people, she's offering pictures in return for any donations to compensate. There's no set number as to how much you need to offer, she's just really in need of some help.
