I was going to mock up an image submission for the new pricing guide, but since I don't really have any examples of some of the new stuff I want to offer, I figure I should get some more commissions done first. I apologize for the pretty large price hike, but under old prices I was averaging about half of minimum wage for the time spent on the work done, and I'd like to get a little closer that. I hope the higher prices won't dissuade too many of you!

Hey, guys. When I last opened up for commissions, I guess I really underestimated how long these things were going to take. Now that I've gotten through a decently sized batch of them, I think I have a solid feel for that, and I'd like to update my prices to better match the time invested. I haven't decided what I'd like that to be yet, but this is just to serve as a heads-up to anyone who may be interested in commissioning me in the meantime.

This will NOT affect anyone who is already in queue. We'll still go by the previously agreed upon prices.

Once I figure out what I feel like a fair pricing model will be, I'll likely include prices for other things, like maybe icons and comics as well. I'm sorry to anybody this inconveniences, and hopefully whatever numbers I end up at won't bother too many people and you guys will still like to get art done by me. Thanks for reading! c:

Hey guys, I'm going to open up for streamed commissions for a bit.  partial needs to get her motherboard replaced, so I'm going to try and raise some money to help her pay for it. I've never done commissions before, so this will be a bit of learning experience for me, too. How this is going to work is you guys either comment or note me with what you want, then after Partial lets me know the payment's gone through, we can set up a time on the weekend or Monday night for me to stream your commission. All the payment's going to have to be upfront because I don't want to screw her out of any money. Shit will get done, though, and I'll be doing these one at a time, so I won't start work on another one until the first one's finished. If you don't care about the commissions being streamed while I work on them or can't commit to any of the times I'm available, I can just work on your commission on my own time. I'll send it in three stages; a rough, clean rough, and a touched-up hopefully-final draft with revisions at each stage as necessary.

As far as pricing goes, I'll do a 1 character piece for $20, 2 characters for $40, and if you want a simple background, it's going to be an extra $10. Otherwise, you'll just get a flat color background like I almost always do 'cuz I'm too lazy to be bothered most of the time and I'm really, really bad at backgrounds. As far as I know, Partial's usual payment method is through Google Checkout, but I believe PayPal is fine, too. I'll revise this once I check in with her.

If I get a bunch of requests, I'll just pick the one I think I can do the best job with and then move on from there. I'm not sure how many of these I'm going to do, it depends on how long it takes to raise the money she needs. As for adult/clean stuff, I don't really care either way. For the adult stuff, though, some fetishes I won't do off the top of my head are guro, scat, and cub stuff, just because I don't think I could stomach looking at references for it. Most anything else should be okay, just check with me first. Don't worry about asking for really out there stuff; I'm not here to judge you or anything. The worst thing I can do is say no.

If you're confused, Carranger was a season of Super Sentai that was made as a light-hearted parody of the tokusatsu genre as a reactionary change from the unsuccessful, serious and dark Ohranger season that preceded it. Like, seriously, the Blue Racer even uses a car wash ability in one episode. This crossover movie is very much done in the style of Carranger and pretty much had me in tears laughing at points, lol.

 rudder got me to try this relatively new free-to-play MMO Vindictus (Mabinogi Heroes in Korea.) In quite a few ways, it reminds me a lot of Monster Hunter gameplay-wise:

It seems pretty good so far, though the town UI and such takes a while to get used to, and I've had to read up on the Vindictus wiki to figure a lot of things out, because the game mechanics are not really all that transparent. The multiplayer is quite laggy for non-hosts as well, in my experience. It's still playable but really annoying at times. Hopefully something can be done about it eventually. :S

Also, I'm gonna try and get caught up on the 4.5k submissions that have piled up in my inbox over my months of inactivity. It's tempting to nuke it all, but I'd feel awful, so I'm gonna try and take the time to at least do as quick a skim as I can over time.

Does anybody remember this show? I had completely forgotten about it for years, but for some reason it came to mind again. I used to watch it all the time just to get a chance to watch the opening again, though that's far from the only thing I loved about the show. The layouts, the animation, the music, the storyboarding and framing; everything's just superb. And Jane is such a badass; I love her so much. :|

I tried out another Monster Hunter Tri stream a little earlier, but didn't really make a journal about it cuz my connection's been a little shaky lately and I was worried I would just be disconnecting all night anyway. It turned out to be fine, though! If you want to see a recording of it, it's here.  Doggieo and I did the Speak of the Deviljho event quest. This guy seems to have a lot less health than the 6 star Devlijhos, but it still took a while because I was playing real sloppy and nearly got combo'd to death a few times. :c Sorry for the really quiet audio and the quality. Not much more I can do with my webcam. Might invest in a capture card down the road or something.

Also finished the first page of the comic I'm trying to work on, but I'm not gonna upload it yet. I'm going to wait 'till I have some more pages done so that I don't have to really explain what it's about or anything, cuz I'm awful with that. Dunno when I'll have it up, but hopefully sooner than later.

Until now, I've been using Trillian Basic 3 to use AIM, but now I'm getting automatic messages when I login saying that I can no longer use this version of AIM and everyone on my buddy list is showing up as offline so I know I'm not "really" connected even though it says I am.

I went and downloaded the newest version of AIM, but when I signed in, my buddy list was empty and I can't add anyone. Clicking on "Add Buddy" or "Search for a Buddy" doesn't do anything, (no new window prompt or anything) and I even sent an IM to someone who was online and tried right-clicking their name and choosing "Add to Buddy List" and nothing happened. Anyone know how I can fix this? :S

There are so many nice little touches in this, like the O and N in "Jackson Briggs" being faded out. I've never really even been that big of a MK fan, but the childhood nostalgia is too strong~.

There's a lot of wasting time before the arena quest because I wanted to do Jhen Mohran but the quest wasn't showing up for either of us at the time, so we were trying to figure out what to do. Doggieo wanted to do a quick Qurupeco arena to see if we would get Jhen Mohran afterwards and we ended up getting an S-Rank time!

I wanted to see if we could 2-man Jhen Mohran. Even though Doggieo's power went out and he disconnected a few minutes before the end of the quest, we were still able to repel him.

Sorry for the split videos, but I had to stop recording between each hunt to be able to read and type in livestream chat because my webcam's built into the laptop and pretty much had to be right in front of the TV. Maybe if I do this again some time, I'll figure out some way for me to be able to communicate with people in the stream at the same time as I play. Thanks to everyone who showed up!

I'm getting bored of the stuff on my iPod so I'm looking for some new stuff to listen to while I work out. I'm really picky with the sorts of things I like, but any suggestions would be cool. It's been a loooong time since I've actually been completely satisfied with a game that I hyped up for myself years ahead of its release, but thank you Monster Hunter Tri for not letting me down~. It's been two nights in a row now that I've stayed up waaaay too late hunting with  grisser  khoi and  ten and woken up with a massive headache the next day. BUT IT WAS WORTH IT.
