I'm alive.

Thanks for the continued support - watch this space for future submissions. As time consuming as it can be, drawing is still a form of media that I very much enjoy. It's not something I plan to abandon, but there are still a couple of things I need to sort out first.

I wish to thank you for showing your interest by adding me to your watch list. It's a great pleasure to know there are many individuals out there who like my artwork enough to warrant subscribing to any future submissions~

But I've been neglecting my artwork as of late, despite having many commissions still to finish. Commissions that I should've started and finished months ago. The reasons for this are a combination of laziness, procrastination, lack of inspiration and patience, as well as a prolonged state of depression and financial woes that I'm still working my way through.

But as I strive to honour my end of the bargain, and because I cannot afford to refund anybody - I constantly think about the backlog of commissions I have left to supply - and it's put a halt to submitting any artwork of my own on top of that.

And now the Christmas rush is upon us - leaving me with less free time than before. But never fear! I haven't forgotten about you guys! All I ask is that you remain patient and I -will- have more art to come in the future!

Don't worry, it's just a complicated name for a type of strain injury. Grabbing, tensing or flexing my fingers, as well as twisting my wrist in any way causes shooting pains in my wrist. This means that I won't be participating in tasks such as drawing or gaming for extended periods of time.

Typing doesn't seem to be too bad, though. So I won't be -completely- gone...I hope~!

Well, it turns out my motherboard kicked the bucket. A new one has been ordered and it should be here this week.

I'm currently using my old motherboard for the time being; and whilst it can't seem to handle too many processes, it IS able to run smoothly enough to be able to draw with. So all pending commissions have resumed~

No, not thaaaat kind. You silly billy. I've been peeking around artist's commission details to get an overall feel for quality versus price; but I also noticed that some commissioners have quite a wide selection of what kind of commissions they do, whether it be from full body to just parts, like the "bust" (head and neck) - and such.

Anybody think that doing bust shots featuring just the head and neck would be a good idea? Or if you have any other things that could be added, feel free to mention below.

What would you peeps say if I was open for commission again? Would you laugh? Would you cry! Or would you gobble a strawberry pie?

Today I have reached the age of 26 years old.

I popped my monitor screen on to see I'd received a surprise gift on Steam from - who deserves all of my thanks and appreciation~

is my old account. I changed my account name back in 2010 and started as Kachimaru. I saw it as an opportunity to discard my years of service to my Sonic fan-characters (most of them foxes~) and created Kachi - which was a little bit of what I liked most; long ears and a floofy tail.  stormdragonblue was a marvellous help in defining Kachi into what he is now.

When I became in possession of a tablet, my artwork improved dramatically - and I'd like to thank everyone who watches me for your feedback. :3


I believe I've reached a level where I'm happy with how I draw. Now it's just time to show more of it in art form!~

Actually it's been lingering for most of the week - but it hit me the hardest yesterday. Blocked nose, runny nose, headaches - and a phleghm festival every hour or so.

In short, I'd like to take a break from drawing until I recover. *hops into bed with a cup of tea~*
