Two whole rotations of the Chinese Zodiac have passed, and we are now, once again in the year of the Rabbit. 24 years it has been since I was officially born.

It's been a very interesting year since this time last year. Unemployment, moving away from the town I grew up in to seek a new life, more unemployment - then some employment, and now that employment is reaching the end of its 6 month duration. There's a lot more drama inbetween all that, but it's all in the past. :3

Missed an office day last week, so I reimbursed it by working an extra day this week. So I've been in the office Monday and Tuesday, away travelling around visiting a client and my new job placement on Wednesday - and I've got a friend coming around for the weekend.

Me? Real life friends? Who would've thought?

 warriorofthestars86 is coming over today (Friday) and I'll be hanging around with him for most of the weekend. This means it's likely I won't be able to complete any commissions this week and possibly over the start of next week.

 warriorofthestars86 and I will probably be doing some drawing sessions, so I might submit something over the weekend if that's the case.

And what an awesome furcon it was. Up until now, I've had a rather closed perception of how they turn out. But boy, was I wrong. But this was the perfect chance to prove myself wrong; because I wanted to believe that it wasn't what I thought it was.

It was a long 4 hour journey to the venue, but  gullible and I turned up eventually. PlusBus tickets for the win~

We waited AN HOUR AND TWENTY MINUTES just to sign in. It was hot and humid inside the hotel. AND WE FOUND OUT AFTERWARDS THE VENUE HAD THEIR HEATING SYSTEM ON. O.O

We signed in, I gave the registration team my name, to which they replied: "Sorry, your FURRY name." :3

In the UK: "Kachi" is pronounced "catchy" - so I was asked if my name began with a C or a K. Did you think of cock too? You dirty person, you. o3o

Gull and I ventured our way through The Crystal Maze the hotel to find our room. Such a bizarre numbering system. Then we hooked up with  stormdragonblue and  silvericetail where we kind of awkwardly got to know each other.

The tension soon lifted after we discussed our interestsandmayhavegottenverydrunkthatnightIshouldreallystopbingedrinkingsomuch. I'm so sorry Stormy and Silver. >w<

Ooh, ooh, what else? Saw  darkoverord,  runt and  kaleotter. Saw a few bunny fursuits which were just <3. Then Gullible introduced me to  Deezlberries and soon met up with Polonium. (Can't find his FA if he has one~)

The Furrylympics (Though it was spelled Furrylimpics. Limp limp limp~) was thoroughly entertaining. The space hoppers and the somersault by the fursuiter was just fantastic. We were to cheer for the best couple at the end, and some software would determine how loud our cheering was. WELL! It broke, and shot up over 90 points. ANd I yelled out "It's OVER 9000!"~ Even though it wasn't, I still got a laugh out of a few people. x3

Went to a Chiptune panel run by  serfox - poor guy had his panel bumped along half an hour and had little time to prepare. But he did a good job explaining how to use Little Sound DJ to make Chiptunes. Then I went to a paper folding an origami panel, where I made a dog that wouldn't stand up and a parrot that looked like a deformed seahorse.

Drinks were expensive, I nearly drowned from water vapour in the shower. XD

Hummm....and I also briefly spoke to  freaky - you have such an awesome Freakychu hat. I wannnt~

I'm not a supporter of it, at all. I will tell someone I love them any time during the year, and I will not be pulled into feeling I 'have' to tell someone I love them out of one day of the year. It's a commercial scam, and I feel that if you love someone, you'll surprise them with it.

Doesn't it feel nicer to be given a present or told you're loved when you don't expect it? <3

Just stating my opinion, and I'll gladly respect everyone else's.

I totally understand and respect what's going on here. It's a bit of a shame, but sacrifices must be made if the site wants to keep running.

But why do people have to be so nasty about it? For the people who didn't like cub porn in the first place, are rejoicing as if this genre was frowned upon. By our own community.

I mean, what? D: You're saying it's acceptable for anthro or feral animals to have sexual encounters, but everything changes when they're cubs?

The way I see it, you're automatically socially rejected by the human race as a whole for liking furries in the first place. Shouldn't we be sticking together rather than picking at each other?
