A little after I moved back to Minnesota, I got a call from an old boss and good buddy who had a job opportunity in Cambridge, MN. As I had no job at the time and I loved working with him back in the day, I took the posiiton. Come to find out that the company he and I work for expects Walgreens/CVS service out of their employees for about a third of what walgreens and CVS pays their employees, as the boss is not to happy with his current other employees and due to a few other reasons, I decided to have him schedule me for one or two days out of the week so he can bring on more people to help out. ( no sense on me eating those hours at a place I'd rather destroy then work at)
My friend also wanted a room mate and I couldn't stay living back with the folks (It just felt weird after 5 years of living in a different place), So I am now in North Branch, MN which is about 30 miles roughly away from Minneapolis. It's kind of nice living in a much smaller town than what I am used to. It's very relaxing. I also found out that I'm not alone up in this area. Earlier today, I hung out with
mandakatt. She freaking rocks :D. We saw the film RED and it kicked a lot of ass :) (John Malkovich was hilarious in it).
I recently got into FF14 with the roomie and compared to FF11, it is more fun imo. I love what they have done with it. If you are on FF14 and play on Lindblum, shoot me a tell, I am usually on as "Kael Arkaemis", "Omnom Nom" (couldn't resist that name), Or "Arkae Daemos".

Posted 15 years agoWell to add to the recent annoying shits, I was driving my room mate to work this morning and about 5 minutes from his work I get a sudden sharp stabbing pain in my left side. I hit the restroom of make sure it wasn't on of 3 things. Turns out that it wasn't and after 10 - 15 mins writhing in this pain I go to my room mate and tell him to call an ambulance. Ambulance took me to the hospital where they hook me up to an IV then send me through the Atomic Doughnut(MRI) after pumping me full of dye.
They found several fluid pockets in my small intestine and said "Congratz, you have gastroenteritis, noob. Here's a prescription for an OTC drug, a prescription for a symptom you said nothing about, and vicodin"
I have no need for any of these drugs since the pain passed by that time and well, I can handle nausea.
So now I get to wait for them to send the big burly guys of finanical ass raping in letter form.
Son of a bitch.
They found several fluid pockets in my small intestine and said "Congratz, you have gastroenteritis, noob. Here's a prescription for an OTC drug, a prescription for a symptom you said nothing about, and vicodin"
I have no need for any of these drugs since the pain passed by that time and well, I can handle nausea.

Let's see, Got laid off on June 16th, I moved back to Minnesota, built a bad ass comp. Saw Predators and Despicable Me(I highly recommend Despicable Me.) My grandmother died a few days ago. Grandpa is a wreck, gonna go see him on tuesday.

I went to the local fur meet, saw no one I remembered from the old days though I did hang with some cool peeps.
Ordered a new zippo.
Been hooked on Supreme Commander 2.

Posted 15 years agoElliot's was lots of fun, the Florida sun raped my face and I boggled people with my choice of clothing. I wear hoodies year round, regardless of the climate. I am impressed by the amount of furs down in florida, most of the local furs I met down there were cool. I'll be back down there next year :)

Posted 15 years agoSo, the other day I went out and picked up Monster Hunter 3 Tri. I love this game dammit. :D I also picked up the bluray version of Avatar(James Cameron and who ever put together the DVD/Bluray version of this film are whores in my book now, wheres mah special features bitches!!!)
The room mate and I went out and saw The Losers which was fucking awesome, go see it now dammit. XD
I am waiting to see how much time off I got save up at work so I can make my plans to go down to FL on the 21 - 23 for the spring gathering. I'm hoping that by the time it gets to the travel date, I can head out on the 20th cause I hate arriving on the day of stuffs.
