Hi Journal-readers! *waves excitedly* It's been awhile since my last entry so I've got lots to say!

First, my apologies to all of my buddies on Babyfur.Me. For whatever reason I'm not able to login from home. If you're wondering why you haven't seen me there lately, that's why...

Second, Christmas is coming up and I've been a very good kitty this year so I'm sure to get oodles of presents! Unfortunately, I'm too little to write my own letter to Santy so Mommy has to help me - I'm not quite sure to ask for yet though. Any suggestions?

Finally, as part of trying to deal with his social anxieties, the nice human who dreamed me into existence has been asked to try talking about himself more. This might be cheating a bit since it doesn't involve face-to-face interaction, but if any of you have any questions about him, ask them in this journal and he'll do his very best to answer you!

Well, I've been thirty years old for over 24 hours now and it's not nearly so bad as I'd feared. In fact, I think I can safely say it feels almost exactly like being twenty-nine... maybe just a teensy bit itchier, but it's hard to say.

My nephew's party was fun! There were only three children, which I suppose makes sense for a preschooler, but did make the affair somewhat less inspiration of babyfur scenes than I would have expected. I did eat lots of cakes though!

I also forgot to update my birthday story yesterday like I promised I would. The changes I've made are fairly minor, but if you're interested, you can find the updated version below:

As many of you probably know, this saturday is my birthday. As usual, I'll be posting an update to "Birthday Story" even though I made virtually no progress in the last year.

The main reason I'm composing this journal, however, is to inform my journal readers that I will be attending my a baby cousin's belated party and thus probably won't be on the computer very much - please consider this a preemptive apology.

Hi everyone, this last month's been a really busy one for this lil' fuzzy thing!

I'm still doing a lot of non-babyfur related writing so I've had no time for stories or pictures involving Kaffre and his buddies (Well, I probably do have the time, but I'm feeling really lazy) though I still have high hopes for the next few months!

I've also started seeing a Speech Pathologist again - We're currently working on correcting my cluttering as he feels that the lisp and vocal fry are merely symptoms of the former problem. I'm making good progress with prepared statements, but speaking spontaneously still causes problems...

Finally, I've a 30th birthday coming up soon (October 29), but given the circumstances I think I'll just pretend to be turning 3 instead... *huggles for everyfur*

Edit: In retrospect, this journal is, in fact, quite short.

Some of you may have noticed that a certain cuddly kitten has been rather scarce for the last week or so. Our home phoneline was damaged by lightning and finding a live person to speak to at Bell Canada proved quite a challenge...

At any rate, I'm back now and ready for all sorts of happy, snuggly babyfur fun! *hugs random furs*

PS. I hope to have more pictures soon, but suspect I credibility on that front is sliding dramatically...

I wasn't planning on posting a journal today, but it's been three-months since my last so perhaps some kitten updates are in order:

- I got my scanner fixed, but probably won't have any piccies to post for a while (some doodle sheets maybe).
- I've really bitten off more than I can chew with a (barely) paid writing project and will be very busy for the next two weeks.
- I've barely dented my Birthday Story this year so I doubt it will be ready for October 29 as I'd planned. On a related note, I was a very shy little boy and tended to avoid parties if any of you can think of activities for the story's itinerary I'd be most appreciative.

This is just a quick update to let you all know that I have completed a piece of artwork as promised (sorta B-day piccy for Gamerkitty). Unfortunately, my scanner seems to have suffered somewhat from disuse and and I can't upload it just yet.

Dear Kitten-Watchers,

I know I haven't been around much so far this year, but with any luck I'll be submitting more piccies and stuff in the near future. The burden of requests combined with a lack of inspiration temporarily overwhelmed me, but I feel far more energetic now and hope to get something posted shortly after the Easter weekend (there's a big family get-together I have to attend so I'll not be drawing until sometime afterward).

Other kitty news since my last journal include me getting my first published Playtester Credit "The Church" for Ars Magica and successfully training my sister's kitten Azrael to fetch thrown paperballs for me. Unfortunately, I've still enjoyed no success in the Job department and am seriously considering returning to college for another semester with the intention of using the school resources to assist me in locating part-time employment.

Well I think that's it for now, I'll try not to let two months go by to my next Journal.

I apologize for not being on much yesterday (or today in all likelihood), but my favourite of our cats, Bonkers, was struck by a car and killed yesterday.

Well it’s that time of year again and for the next twenty four hours Kaffre will be a big four year old kitty before reverting magically back to three at midnight tomorrow (October 30th).

In the interim, however, he’s available for hugs, to accept presents and even, legend has it, to answer questions regarding the year to come! ^^ That’s not all though, just for reading this journal each of you is entitled to one deluxe birthday hug absolutely free!

I'd probably like to be home, but for defensive utility I think my old college is probably the best place in town to wait out the zombie horde. It has plenty of food in the cafeteria, culinary school stores and vending machines, gets most of its power from solar panels and has oxidizing agents for bomb-making, industrial welders and other useful zombie-killing implements all within easy reach!

Dear FA Pals,

Because it will be Reading-Week at the University where my placement is taking place, I won't be going into town this week and thus will have only very limited Internet Access until March 8. On the plus side, however, I will hopefully have plenty of time to work on my playtests, art and various other non-school related projects!

On another note, upon posting "Happy Birthdaymas MJ" I noticed that Kaffre appeared to be dressed up for Valentine's Day. This wasn't intentional, but it did get me to thinking - I frequently dress Kaffre in red and pink, not so much because I like those colours (they are nice though), but rather because I think they look good on him. Therefore, my question to you, dear journal reader, is - what colour(s) do you think look best on my fuzzy stripey kitten?

I'm sorry for not doing much of anything lately, but I've found that without the structure provided by school I have a tendency to sleep 12-16 hours a day which, needless to say, is not conductive to playing online with all my cute n' snuggly lil' babyfur pals...
