Not really feeling too in sync with this username anymore. Old artz are still here, just moved to scraps.

I totally forgot about this placeO,o. Ack, well...I'm trying to get out of the feral scene and back into the actual anthropomorphic genre, so I figured I'll try and be somewhat active here again, if only for the community part of it.

Getting back to furry artwork and FA

If you watch me on DA, you may notice that I haven't done any anthro artwork in a realllllly long time. This is mainly because I wasn't very comfortable with my anthro anatomy and wanted a break from it, figuring I'd do better with feral artwork (hence Kloteck). Another reason was I hated coloring my anthro pictures in Photoshop, since I always had done them using traditional methods when I first started dabbling in the genre...in other words, with no moneymeans to buy traditional supplies, and with Photoshop just killing the fun of my anthro works, I just kind of...stopped drawing furries.

I was also focusing on drawing what I thought people wanted to see, not always what I wanted. While I usually draw because I want to be able to share my work with other people and give back what the community gives me with its wonderful artists and works, I also miss drawing for myself and not giving a damn what other people think.

So, here's what I'm going to do: I'm going to start keeping a sketchbook for anthro artwork only (I've always drawn on individual peices of Xerox paper, and I want to try a sketchbook for once since I'm less inclined to scrap stuff drawn in them, saving me the problem of having piles of half-drawn pictures all over my room). A lot of this stuff will just be sketches where I use the method learned in the fall community college class I took (where you "feel through" the drawing, aka 30 second drawings), stuff that I really get into and add a lot of details, or just scribbles because I feel like messing around. I may or may not post many or all sketchbook pages here, but I will post them all on LJ from time to time (username: kavsie).

Sketches aside, I will also only be posting traditional media here, because I've been neglecting it too much and am tired of Photoshop. I just need supplies now, ugh. Honeslty, I also feel that real media has more "soul," as much as I do enjoy digital art.

What I will be posting here:
* All my furry artwork, mostly stuff I'm doing for myself as an artist
* Traditional art
* Maybe the occasional digital peice, if I like it enough to post it

What I will not be posting here:
* Feral artwork (maybe occasionally, if I like a peice enough)
* Kloteck Omen (you can still read the Kloteck pages on my DA, of course)
* Digital media, unless, again, I like a certain picture enough to post it

Also, people may notice that a lot of stuff disappeared from my gallery here because I decided to clean it up and get rid of my feral artwork. That stuff can still be found on my DA gallery as well.

I think that's it...so yeah, I pretty much just want to get back into anthro artwork, as its really the only time I honestly feel I can go all out and draw what I feel like creating, unlike with my feral work.

Surgery

I will also be undergoing surgery on the 19th, so I will not be posting any new works until I recover from that. More info can be found on my DA journal here. After all that is over, I'm going to jump right back into drawing and posting, so...yep.

Ugh gawd, I'm back! I kind of backed off from this site, as it was being slow and all, but now that it's faster, I can finally upload without my computer freaking out again! Also the reason I will soon feel guilty, because I have a buttload to submit, therefore flooding my friends' message area. HOMG, sorry!

For those who have watched me:

Well, I'm being rather slow at adding people back who have watched me, since I want to make sure I don't skip anyone, but I will get to ya if you add me...just might take a few days^^.

I think Kloteck Omen (y'know, that one comic page I did?) has kind of died.

Problem with it was, I made the mistake of jumping right into the illustration and character designs without having a solid story to put them in. I spent my cruise and the past few weeks trying to attack it from different angles and different situations, but nothing really worked that would carry Kloteck on as a developed comic. Also, when I started it, I was a bit angsty due to health, so it was originally going to be a serious and dark thing reflecting that, which really doesn't fit my personality. In other words, if I'm going to be creating a comic, I need to have something that is random, funny, moronic, and, well, weird. Heck, I grew up around humor, and I even love taking the weird parts of my personality and making fun of them, so I've decided to start all over and create a new comic that allows me to incorporate these things into it. Of course, I'm still working on the details of the story this time around, but I've decided to dig up my original fursona, Ransom, and throw her in it, with her personality edited just a tad from what it used to be.
