Lots of new TF coming.
Posted 3 years agoHey furs.
There's allot of new TF material in the works. I've been busy with the haunting of shuma a bunch but I did reserve time in my schedule to work on TF specifically. That said, when I open for commissions again I am thinking of opening up for ONLY TF related concepts, but that will be in a while (maybe two months or so).
The next TF out of me will be a Protogen TF TG comic roughly the size of Alien Goo (maybe a little longer).
Hope everyone's doing well out there.

The return of my studio "DreamSail Games" and Anime NYC
Posted 4 years agoHey dudes.
Some of you probably know that I used to run an indie game studio after my time at Insomniac Games. It was called DreamSail Games. It started in 2014 with 4 employees and grew to a 15-man team. We made several VR prototypes and shipped two titles for the PC and Playstation 4. One was a robot fighting game called Blade Ballet and the other was a giant robot simulator called the Iota Project which was made for VR. I closed the studio in 2017 due to extremely gut-wrenching personal chaos in my life that has since been resolved for the past three years. In addition, I feel that I am wiser and stronger now, so I have decided that the time has come to resume the operations of DreamSail Games. This time it's going to be different though! Different on five scores:
1. The studio will be entirely remote.
- DreamSail had a physical workspace and I actually prefer working that way. Covid response, however, proved that teams can be run remotely rather well. This time I'm choosing to save on office space and have everyone work from home. Despite my personal preferences, I feel that potential developers will really enjoy the freedom of not having to move to New York City, and work from wherever they want to. The studio will run off of discord or slack for communication and trello for task management.
2. Allot of time will be spent in pre-production and job postings will not go out until we're absolutely sure we need help.
- DreamSail previously expanded too quickly and sometimes we found ourselves with idle developers waiting on the pipeline to deliver their work. We also had a habbit of jumping into the production phases of projects too early. This time, games are going to be planned profusely so that we don't enter production with unanswered questions.
3. The content of DreamSail's games will be furry/anthro heavy (but probably not mature rated.)
- When I started DreamSail, furry was a part of my life but not as much as it is now in many ways. I am really emotionally invested in this fandom and I want to make content for it. I just can't ignore what I like, and allot of what gets me excited in the fandom is going to make a cultural impact on my team: an impact on who I hire, and what projects are developed at DreamSail.
4. A harsh "No" to early access mentality.
- The previous DreamSail team had some people in it who were really excited about the idea of releasing very early and developing games alongside an audience that could pay their way into experiencing the development process. I have some issues with this strategy and I'm just going to say that our games will be released when they are finished and that's it. There will be demos released during phases of development for playtesting purposes, but they will be privately distributed.
5. DreamSail's content will be majorily story-driven single player experiences.
- DreamSail started as a multiplayer focused studio in 2014 and I feel that it was a mistake for our indie team to be limited to that genre. When Blade Ballet released, our biggest complaint was a lack of single player content and players without friends had a hard time enjoying our game. DreamSail's following is a tiny pool of people to launch a mutliplayer title on and while I love multiplayer games personally, I think we'll be better off with single player for now. If DreamSail succeeds and gains a following, I will consider multiplayer features in our games, but not at the start.
Our first project is currently in pre-production and there are allot of unknowns to discover and decisions to make that may change the concept as it stands right now, but what I can say is that it is a story driven Turn-Based RPG / Platformer hybrid for iOS, Steam, and the Nintendo Switch. I want old-school turn based random encounters (like Chrono Trigger) with explorable zones with platforming hazards and challenges wrapped together in an interesting narrative. The game's characters are all anthro, and there are some transformation elements being discussed as well. The game will be free-to-play up to a certain point in the story, after which the player will encounter a pay-wall to access more content. I'm iffy on this last point because I'd rather just sell the game straight out, but I feel like in today's day and age, people want to try before they buy. If the story and gameplay interests them, my hope is they'll pay for the rest of the game after having a portion of it to check out for free.
That said, I've been making allot of art for this game for the past two months and will continue to do so and I want to share stuff as soon as possible. Probably by the end of December or January I'll have stuff to show and share.
In other news, I will be tabling at Anime NYC this coming weekend! If you're in the city for this convention, come check me out at table F-18! I'll be giving out physical copies of Tales of Anima chapter 0 and selling prints for 20$.
Tales of Anima is still being created and I have writing finished for chapter 1 and 2. I'm also still going to be making one-off transformation comics and sequences since people really seem to enjoy them. I've been thinking about being more active in that area and scheduling some time every day to make them.
That's all for now, thanks for reading and I hope everyone's 2021 has gone well. Winter is coming.

Tales of Anima is Released! And other news.
Posted 4 years agoHey everyone! The prologue of my webcomic project is now fully out!
I'm planning to release the comic by issue (instead of doing daily updates) because I believe it's easier to enjoy the story instead of having to wait a week between one or two pages rolling out. Hopefully you guys dig what you read. The story of the prologue was mainly created to stress test my workflow with making comics in 3D because i've never done that before. Apparently there are just very few examples of 3D webcomics out there. I think maybe its because people enjoy drawn art more? I don't know. Its an interesting discussion. The main reason why I chose 3D production was because I wanted Tales of Anima to keep my game development art skills in practice. Sometimes I wonder what it would have been like to draw all of it and how far I could take my drawing skills. But modeling/texturing/rigging are important skills I want to keep up.
You can start reading the prologue here at this link: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/41898584/
I'm in the middle of making chapter 1 and as far as I know right now the story is much better than the prologue. Especially for this demographic. Additionally I'm just getting better at writing stories in general. I feel that way every time I finish something. I would still consider myself laughably bad at it though. LOL!
Other news: I'm working on a first person shooter called Midair Here's its store page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/.....unity_Edition/
The game is basically a modern clone of Tribes 1 / Tribes Ascend which used to be available on steam before getting shut down. I am a big fan of tribes to its fun to be apart of this project in particular as it is going to be the only way fans of tribes can really get a modern fix for their cravings. Some of you may remember I was working on a VR MMO called Ilysia. I left that team to find a project that didn't have tons of grunt work to do.
Other Other news: I have another webcomic project called VieCarious that is a side project, but im not fully ready to talk about it. And-and, I am going to be releasing new Transformation images soon throughout the summer.
Thanks for catching up with me and I hope you all are doing well.

Tales of Anima Update
Posted 4 years agoHey everyone! I've been working hard on my web-comic Tales of Anima for the past few months and its going really well. At this point I have a release date for the comic which is going to be in early may. I think I can probably launch it in the first week of that month actually as there isn't much left to do. The first chunk of Anima that will be released is the "prologue" which takes place before the main story actually begins. The prologue was designed to stress test my workflow and get experience with making a large comic project.
Tales of Anima's main story is about a 20 year old pro gamer who falls into a magical portal to another realm called "Anima" and finds himself turned into a dragoness. He meets many friends and foes as he quests to manage the incendiary emotions of his new draconic body and return home to his old life and form. Little does he know, however, of his draconic heritage and how some wicked individuals on Anima plan to exploit it for their own gain.
At first I wasn't sure about what it would be like to make a comic entirely in 3D, but the workflow has proven to be really fun. In the beginning I had to model allot of assets so pages came slowly, but once the characters were modeled/rigged and the settings were developed the actual page work started to fly by. As far as writing is concerned, this is the first time in my life that I've tried to develop a large story and its been challenging to say the least. Sometimes writing would come easy, but other times it seemed impossible to know what to do and I'd find myself "blocked" as they say. It is certaintly rewarding though and I enjoy the process however it comes.
Hope you're all having a good spring. Its almost summer! Whoo!

2021 has been off to a good start over here, I've mostly been working on my upcoming webcomic Tales of Anima so far, but I'm thinking of setting aside more time to make other stand alone TF comiccs because I haven't made one in several months.
Hope you're all doing well out there.

Got a new Game Development Job! Working on a VR MMO!
Posted 5 years agoHey everyone, big news. I got hired as a CG Artist by a game studio "Team 21". The project at hand is a VR MMORPG - which is ambitious, I know, but it will be very fun to work on. Our Kickstarter has been out for a week and we are now over 80% funded. Check it out here: https://www.kickstarter.com/project.....gs-again-in-vr
We are planning to have three anthro races in the game for players to be, so furries SHOULD check this out! I have the honor of designing them as well as providing concept art and 3D assets for environments and other characters.
Here are some of the races I've sketched so far:
Dragon Race
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/38164654/
Wolf Race
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/38164701/
Mouse Race
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/38164741/
Hope everyone's doing well out there. I'm having a blast.

2020 sure is a CRAZY year...
Posted 5 years agoHey everyone its been a while since I made a journal. Despite all of the bad news that has been going on in the world, life has been very good for me. I've been rotating art tasks between my big web-comic project: Tales of Anima, random Sketchbook stuff, and other standalone Transformation Comics (which I very much enjoy making). I'm hoping to release content more regularly this year than I have in the past!
Also, I saw the premiere of "The Fandom" which is a new furry documentary. It is a beautiful piece of work. I highly recommend watching it if you haven't, here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iv0QaTW3kEY Watching it just made me feel happy and closer to the furries that I know IRL and online. We are truly a part of something unique and I can't wait to see how our fandom evolves over the years.
Stay healthy everyone and I hope you're all doing well out there. Thanks for reading!

"Pay What You Want" Commissions Open and HAPPY 2019!
Posted 7 years agoHey everyone!
I'm interested in building a community around my creative endeavors if people are interested so I started a discord. It'll allow anyone interested to keep up with Art Streams, Commissions, and project updates.
Here's the Invite Link: https://discord.gg/3Zemp9D
This is going to be a productive year for me. Cheers to all of my friends on here! I hope your year is starting off well! So I've got some new years resolutions. One is to put out at least one painting a week and another one is to level up my game in terms of art quality... While i'm going to be doing allot of personal work this year, I want to make sure i'm continuing to do stuff for others as well!
I'm opening up for what i'm calling "pay what you want commissions". It's kind of like opening up for requests, except I'm encouraging at least some kind of tip! If you want to pay 0 though, its fine. I'll still take it. I'll accept payment upon completion of the commission instead of before it is started as it is usually done. It's up to you when and how much you want to pay. Let me know what I can do for you in a note or a reply to this journal.
As for how i'm doing, I've been alright. 2018 was kind of a shitty year on me. I was taking a medication that had a way of blocking emotions and making me feel dead inside. It made the task of art making a confusing endeavor, and it was a struggle to come to creative decisions... I was also being mind controlled to HELL, but thankfully i'm now off the stuff and I'm glad I can put past struggles behind me and return to normal.
Godspeed to everyone on here, thanks for reading.

Commissions Open!
Posted 7 years agoHey everyone, its been a while.
Things are going great over here. I've been having a chill summer and heading out to FAU this week to get started with commissions for the year. I plan to hit six conventions from now till the beginning of 2019, hopefully i'll see some of you at the shows. Anyhow, commissions are now officially open so please check my pricing guide: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/28405195/ if you find yourself interested. I'm excited to get cracking on new designs, illustrations, sketches... whatever the world might throw at me!
Outside of all of this life is good. I'm thinking of attending some classes at SVA here in New York City which should be interesting but I haven't enrolled in anything yet. I'm just sort of teasing the idea.
Hope everyone's lives are also going well and I wish you an awesome rest of 2018.
